Prisms Posion
Prince Harry was the person that Roger reported to while Macy AKA Sent watched what was going on from a corner.
''Sorry? Wake him up well if he won't anser you.'' Prince Harry did not take what Roger said seriously.
''Yes my Prince.'' Roger pretended as if he did not know that it was useless to try and wake McGuire up.
''Mr. McGuire.'' This time, Harry watched Roger from outside the door of McGuire's room until he was convinced that there was a problem.
''What the hell is going on? Wasn't he awake just a while ago? He was even discussing with us and saying he needed to rest after a long night.'' Harry entered the room and looked at McGuire carefully.
''Mr. McGuire!'' Harry's voice bellowed across the room but McGuire didn't budge.
Panick flashed through Harry's eyes.
''Check, is he breathing?'' He said to Roger and put his index finger under McGuire's nose, and to Harry's relief, he could spot a stable breath.
Roger nodded before he even confirmed McGuire's pulse.
''He's not dead. He's alive.'' Roger's eyes were wide with conviction that they need not bother about death.
''McGuire!'' Harry shook Mr. McGuire's body so much, he was sure that the man would wake up as a result of thet, if not, then there was something wrong.
Well, Harry soon concluded that something was indeed wrong when Mr. McGuire failed to wake up.
''What?'' Harry leaned away from the bed and stared at McGuire's body on the bed. The man's chest was heaving up and down with breath, he was obviously very much alive, yet he was not waking up.
''What must have gone wrong?'' Roger asked Harry, staring at the very tall Prince that stood several inches above him.
Harry frowned and looked at Roger.
'Do I look like a doctor to you? Get the family doctor on the phone and tell him what has happened.'' Harry instructed Roger and went back to staring at McGuire in shock.
On his way out, Roger met the guest that had come looking for McGuire.
''We have a bit of a situation. Mr. McGuire might be under the weather.'' Roger did not stop to address the guest, instead he continued to walk towards the phone.
The guest, Mr. Collin, was taken aback by the message that he had just heard. What did he mean by McGuire was under the weather, someone that he had just spoken to less than a day ago.
''Hello doctor. We have a situation at the palace.'' Roger waited for response from the doctor after he greeted him.
''It's Mr. McGuire, doctor, he...he is not waking up.'' Roger was troubled while making the statement.
Mr. Collin eyes shone when he heard what Roger said, and after he heard the message, he started towards McGuire's room without invitation.
When Mr. Collin barged in, he met Harry in the room, sitting by McGuire and staring at him intently.
Harry raised his head to look at the person who had just entered the room.
Mr. Collin looked closely at Harry.
"Prince Harry?" he said.
"You are not the doctor. Are you?" Harry asked.
Mr. Collin shook your head.
"I bet you will recognize your family doctor if you see him." Mr. Collin took off his hat and placed it on the table in McGuire's room.
"I came for the union. I'm a Vandersar." Mr. Collin said, pointing at McGuire.
"Your uncle is expecting me. What is wrong with him?" Mr. Collin asked.
Prince Harry would have wanted to know who this stranger was but McGuire's life was more important.
"I don't know, he just won't wake up." Harry sounded worried.
"That's strange." Mr. Collin said, walking up to McGuire and just kike others had done, placing his index finger under his nose to check if he was still breathing.
"He's still alive." There was relief in Mr. Collin's voice when he said that.
"So why is he not waking up?" Harry asked.
Mr. Collin shrugged. The former urgency and worry he had in his eyes had been replaced with confusion and curiousity.
"Only one thing can make a man stay asleep like this, poison!" Mr. Collin said abruptly.
"Poison?" Prince Harry was taken aback.
Mr. Collin nodded.
"Prisms poison. It's a rare herb. Where must he have ingested it? It's outrageous to see him in this state when I just spoke to him a day ago." Mr. Collin joined Prince Harry and sat beside McGuire, looking at him closely an dobserving his breath.
''Who would dare poison McGuire? Where was he yesterday? What did he eat?'' Prince Harry asked, upset at what he had just heard.
Mr. Collin ignored Harry and continued to examine McGuire as much as he could.
''When did this happen? The Prisms poison usually takes effect about thirty minutes after it has been ingested. When did he become like this?'' Mr. Collin asked.
''How would I know? Nobody was keeping track of him. Who expected this to happen? Of course he came home and went to bed immediately after a long day. How would I know what he ate before he got home?'' Prince Harry asked, not bothering to give it a thought that it could be the tea that McGuire took from Margaret.
''What is wrong with McGuire?'' Larry and Barry hurried into McGuire's room and asked, hovering over the sleeping man and taking an intense look at him. Roger had informed them after he spoke with the doctor, that McGuire was acting strangely.
''I don't know, he just won't wake up. We have been calling his name and shaking him roughly but he won't budge.''Harry looked at his brothers worriedly.
''Is he dead?'' Larry's voice sounded as if he would burst into tears the next moment.
Harry shook his head.
''He's still breathing perfectly. This man here says he is still alive and has been poisoned.'' Harry refrred to Mr. Collin.
It was at that point that Larry and Barry looked at the person that was beside Prince Harry the entire time. They had ignored his presence there since they were all worried about McGuire.
''Who are you?'' Larry asked.
