The Persian Entourage
''What is this I keep hearing about the Usylon girl being an imposter?'' McGuire stepped up to the conversation.
''Hey, you had better back off, Mr. This is a conversation between the Princes, it has nothing to do with you. Shut up, okay?'' Xavier stepped up to McGuire since they handled the same status on both sides.
'Yes, I understand the prestige but there are intricacies that only I can bring to revelation. Maybe that is why the almighty future Queen of Persia tried to kill me. Also, if the Usylon girl was indeed an imposter, why did the future Queen of Persia travel all the way to Magus just to try to stop the union?'' McGuire politely asked.
There was a brief silence between everyone as McGuire seemed to have struck a nerve.
''We had to make sure the imposter didn't get the opportunity to land herself in the Magus Royal household, but unfortunately, you lot are too stupid to have seen through her. There is no single Usynol alive. They were all wiped out.'' Prince Bane felt he had a valid reason to argue the fact that was supposedly glaring.
McGuire smiled.
''What of if you are wrong, mighty Prince Of Persia?'' McGuire asked.
Prince Bane looked at McGuire, and then his glance shifted to Xavier.
''Do you have any way to prove it?'' Xavier asked.
''And if I do?''
McGuire was weighing in on them. If they dared to accept the challenge for him to prove anything, then they will surely be disgraced.
''If you have a way to prove it, then prove it. Don't waste our time. You are standing before the Prince of the eight kingdoms, don't forget that.'' Xavier was speaking on behalf of Prince Bane.
''No. We have to make a deal. If this lady here is a real Usynol girl, then we will have to agree on the treaty being signed and Magus being removed from the eight kingdoms.''
Before McGuire finished speaking, Xavier and Prince Bane already started to shake their heads.
''There is no way Magus is leaving the eight kingdoms. Don't try to deceive yourself, okay?'' Xavier was saying so when McGuire swung to action.
''Margaret, can you read this?'' McGuire took out the same letter that he had given to Margaret when he first met her.
Margaret looked at the paper that carried nothing but symbols and then she nodded.
Margaret went ahead to recite everything that the letter said, to the shock of everyone, including the three Princes.
''The symbol of Rothschild. Margaret can read it?'' Larry was the first person to voice out his shock.
''Only an Usynol can read and decipher the symbol of Rothschild.''
McGuire looked at Prince Bane with a nerve of happiness as he saw the shock on the face of the Prince.
''My Prince.'' Xavier bowed.
''I don't know about any fake Usynol. This person here is the last surviving Usynol in the entire world. I hid her by myself in the orphanage and as soon as she was adopted, I was also informed about it. I have been following her up for years, and now that we are at this point, it is only right that she returns to take on what truly belongs to her.''
Xavier could not stand the audacity of McGuire.
''Okay, Prince Bane, let's leave now. We will think of what to do about this madness later.'' Xavier turned around and started to leave even before Prince Bane had the chance to recover from the shock of realizing that Margaret was actually a real Usynol.
All he knew was that there was no Usynol alive. It meant that his benefactors did not finish their job in eliminating the Usynol clan.
The smile of satisfaction that showed on McGuire's face could not be doubled.
McGuire watched Prince Bane stare at Margaret as if she was a rare painting that had been amiss for years.
''Bane!'' Xavier shouted for his nephew to stop giving McGuire and the Vandersar Princes something to be satisfied about.
Prince Bane soon realised himself and turned around to leave in shame, taking Sent with him who felt the most ashamed among all of them.
Roger watched everything from inside the house, wishing that he could leave with the entourage from Persia.
The pressure that he was getting from living in Magus and under the scrutiny of the Vandersars especially McGuire was starting to have a toll on him.
''What about the treaty? Mr. Persian Prince?'' Barry called out after Prince Bane as he left, making the other Vnadersar Princes and McGuire burst out in laughter.
Prince Bane didn't look back. Instead, he entered his vehicle and soon the Persian entourage were on their way back to Persia.
''The girl is truly an Usynol.'' Prince Bane, after staying quiet for a good number of minutes during the ride back home, eventually spoke up.
Xavier nodded.
''I thought so as soon as I saw her the first time, but I somehow I hoped it was a lie. Do you know what her being an Usynol will do to us? The other seven kingdoms will have to choose between Magus and Persia, whom to be loyal to. And I dare not mention to you what everyone will likely choose, especially after days and months and years of bearing the brunt of a supposedly vindictive Prince.'' Xavier made sure not to look into the eyes of Prince Bane while he spoke.
Prince Bane glanced at Xavier.
Well, Xavier was right, so there was no way Prince Bane could scold him concerning what he said. It had been days and years of Sent making him handle the seven kingdoms with brute and wickedness so he did not need a soothsayer to tell him that the seven kingdoms would all choose to be loyal to Magus if the occasion rose to that point.
