Two Days Earlier

''I can't stop thinking of Harry. I hope he makes it back home in one piece.''

''I hope he makes it back home at all. Everyone knows how worthless that Bane boy can be.''

Barry and Larry were having a conversation as they waited for their brother to return.

''It's been nearly two days, Barry. Don't you think we should go over there to see what's happening? What if Bane has arrested him?'' Larry had been the most uncomfortable person in the Vandersar palace right from the moment that Harry stepped out of the house.

''Wait a bit. He went to ask for Bane to sign the treatey, you don't expect Bane to just accept it at once, do you? Of course there would be a back and forth. Bane, and that his notorious prostitute of a girlfriend would not just let us have our kingdom at first instance.'' When Barry made this statement, Macy AKA Sent, heard him loud and clear and frowned.

Was she the person that Barry had just referred to as a prostitute girlfriend? Was that what he thought of her? Was that what everyone in Magus thought of her? And the other seven kingdoms, did they also see her as a prostitute girlfriend to Prince Bane.

Macy frowned and looked at Roger who happened to be around the Princes when they were discussing. Roger made sure not to display any facial expression, as he knew clearly that although Macy AKA Sent was there playing a dirty role with him, she was still his superior, the Prince's woman.

''That's true. That girlfriend of the Prince is rumored to be the person behind the most hideous crimes that Bane has ever committed to anyone that dares to oppose him. I hope she doesn't try that with Harry or else, I will kill her by myself.'' Larry's eyes were flashing with determination when he made mention of what he was going to do to.

Sent smiled secretly at the reputation she did not know she had.

''Oh, they had all better be afraid of me.'' Sent was sure to say that loud enough for Roger to hear her, he was looking at her anyway.

''By the time I kill their so called guardian, McGuire, they will know that the devil has left Persia, and is now right under their nose in Magus.'' Roger had excused himself from the presence of the Princes, and Macy followed him closely, murmuring her plans into his ears.

Roger flinched.

''My...my Queen. I have nothing to do with killing. I have never committed murder before, so I'll rather not listen to plans about it.'' Even though Roger would not reveal Macy's plan to kill McGuire, he made sure to tell her that he was not a part of it.

Macy AKA Sent, laughed with sarcasm.

''My dear Roger, you are deeply involved in everything because you know about it. Ever heard of an accomplice? Miss me with the drama, okay? I will carry out my plan soon. According to the statistics of the Prism Poison, that wretched man has barely two days before he wakes up to cause chaos everywhere. I had better kill him before then.'' Macy ignored Roger and started to mind her business, basking in the thought of finishing McGuire who was supposedly still asleep.

Supposedly? Well, yes, supposedly because McGuire happened to wake up while Macy was busy ranting to Roger how she will soon finish up McGuire.

McGuire, how could they not have expected somebody like McGuire to have something up his sleeve?

On the day when Macy AKA Sent was poisoning the drink for Margaret, McGuire happened to have just entered the Palace and spotted Sent from a distance while she was inserting the poison for Margaret.

McGuire had to hurry up and in fact, it was not even his hurrying that saved Margaret from taking the poison because she was already about to, it was just that one of the Princes kept engaging her in conversation and that was what delayed Margaret from drinking the poison.

The distraction gave McGuire time to take the poison from Margaret and drink it himself.

Yes. McGuire took such a huge risk for Margaret because he thought that he could stomach it. McGuire was an experienced man, if it were regular poison to kill Margaret, all he would have done was take a flat antidote and purge himself of the poison but it was the special prisms poison to make one sleep.

The potency of Prisms poison was of a different breed so it put McGuire to sleep at once.

McGuire was relieved that it was not one to kill him, so while he was going comatose, he started to fight to stay awake, but of course not. It was that fight that made McGuire manage to wake up before time to catch Macy in the act.

One would wonder why McGuire didn't just confront Macy when he saw her poisoning Margaret's drink. Well, the man wanted to know more. If he just ended it like that, Macy mioght not get to reveal as much as she would reveal if she thought that her plans were succeeding.

Now, it would be easy to blackmail Macy and get her to do anything he wanted her to do, so McGuire decided to play along.

The fact that he woke up two days earlier also added to the glorious way that McGuire will catch Macy in the act.
