Isabella's POV
After finishing breakfast and feeling full. My father suddenly told me to get ready. I was confused by what he said. Do I have an important schedule today?
"Okay, hurry up and take a shower and get ready for today." My father said.
I frowned.
I think I almost forgot something important today. I tried to remember it again, and spontaneously, I slapped my forehead.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot."
I immediately stood up and got up from my sitting position. Rushed to the bathroom and started getting ready to start my first day's mission. I will be staying in the Shadow Fang Pack area starting today. I did it in a hurry. Finally, I was ready to leave. Dad reminded me again that maybe there were supplies left behind or forgotten. But after I tried to remember again it seemed like nothing was missed. Everything was complete, and I detailed it yesterday afternoon and checked it repeatedly at night.
I said goodbye to my father and had not had time to tell him about the strange incident last night. It seemed like it was early morning, just like last night. Hmm, never mind, I have to go. I'll just remember about last night another time. I left with my father's blessing. The journey began and I was very excited this morning.
When I arrived at the Shadow Fang Pack area, I found something strange this morning. The area was very quiet and seemed uninhabited. Where do I think the wolves that inhabit this area are? Is there something important going on?
But I still broke into the area. Then, in the middle of the area, I found a lively event being held. Oh, it turns out they were gathering here. Many wolves filled this area. I started to enter this gathering. It happened that the event was outdoor so I could easily join in. Breaking through the gaps and looking for information about the event they were holding.
"Hey, what's going on?"
"Aren't you from the Shadow Fang Pack?"
"Eee... Of course, I'm part of the Shadow Fang Pack; even Mr. Rezso, the Beta, trusts me." Nervous but starting to feel confident.
"Oh... Strange, but I don't know what event this is."
"Come on, tell me! I just got here after being assigned something important outside by Beta. Come on, tell me!"
“Em... this is a sacred event. Beta's handover of power."
"Huh?"
"Hey, what's wrong with you? Are you deaf?"

I started to enter the crowd in front to break through until I reached the front so I could see who was standing on the podium. I was finally able to reach the front row and found Lucas standing on the podium. Beside him were Mr. Rezso and the man I had seen with Ethan at that time. I don't know his name but I remember his face very well.
In front, Lucas started to chatter by giving a speech and was responded to very enthusiastically by the wolves here.
"Long live Beta! Long live Lucas!" Someone in the crowd voiced encouragement to Lucas. Then the others also joined in and were very excited.
I was silent and understood what was happening. Suddenly I met Lucas' gaze. It turned out that he started to see me here. I started to feel uneasy and wanted to escape from this position. But Lucas held me back by voicing my name on the podium with a loudspeaker.
I was wide-eyed and felt like I was being held up. Automatically all eyes were focused and directed at me. I became the object of attention in this gathering. Feeling strange and very foreign they looked at me with doubtful looks. Some of them were heard whispering, questioning who I really was. I saw Mr. Rezso was a little surprised by this appearance. Especially when Lucas bravely led me and led me to stand beside him on the podium. I felt stiff and awkward. I looked at Mr. Rezso. Because here the only one who knows that I am married to Ethan is Mr. Rezso. I don't want to change his good view of me. I don't want my image to be bad in front of Mr. Rezso. Worried he thinks I'm the weird one. Even though this has been an agreement between me and my husband Ethan.
"Lucas, why did you lead me here?" I whispered to her softly.
"Don't worry, Elara." She whispered to me too.
I started to feel like I was in the spotlight here. But Lucas suggested that I stay calm. Until the event was over I stood here frozen. According to the event I immediately sat down and protested Lucas's behavior earlier.
"Hey, why did you do that to me in front of so many people?"
"Because you're special to me."
I raised one eyebrow. Stop talking and don't want to argue with him. Especially now I have a goal. So I will follow the flow that Lucas provides. I will follow how far he will act crazy.
"Oh yeah wait!"
"What's wrong?" I started to get shocked when he spoke like that.
"Why did you suddenly come here?"
Teg, I started to feel nervous. I worried I wouldn't be able to act in front of him. Because I feel like I'm not an expert in that matter. But I tried to calm myself down from the inside. Be calmer in responding to Lucas' questions that cornered me.
"Um, I think I'll stay here for a while." I started to remember my father's message to remain honest with my goals. So that it would still seem natural and not read as manipulative.
"Huh, living here? For what?"
A moment later I answered him and explained that I came here with a definite goal. Namely to further examine Lucas' story regarding Elara.
"I came here on purpose, to seek certainty regarding your story that always believes that I am the reincarnation of Elara."
"Huh, are you serious about that? You came here and wanted to live in the Shadow Fang Pack area just to examine that? Am I not dreaming?"
"Of course, call me Isabella! Then stop calling me Elara! Get used to it and we will get to know each other for quite a long time in the future."

Finally, Lucas began to trust me and respect me as Isabella, not the Elara he meant. But I don't know yet whether it will continue like this or whether he will stick to his position.

"Yes Isabella, will you start living here now?"

"For the inauguration earlier, you became Beta in Shadow Fang Pack right?”
