Isabella's POV
I started to win his heart deeper. Flatter him by saying congratulations on the achievement he just got. So that it would be easier for me to dig up every information I needed from him. So I had to get into him first to get his sympathy. So that he would be more open to me and without anything being hidden.
"Oh that, yes thank you for your congratulations." He smiled shyly and lowered his head. Lucas became more embarrassed. It seemed like he was really crazy and had feelings for me as Elara in his mind. I was actually annoyed but tried to get used to it and take it for granted.
"Lucas?"
"Yes?"
"Tell me about Elara?"
He was stunned to hear my enthusiasm about his story, which many people considered ridiculous and a liar. Although I was also not sure. But who knows, maybe there was some truth behind all this.
He stared at me intently as if he didn't believe what I had just asked in my words.
"Are you serious?"
"Sure, do you want to tell me?"
"If you ask for it, fine."

He continued his story again and really penetrated me, both in my thoughts and feelings. I felt carried away by it and dissolved with the story. Like I had become the main character being told. I felt like I had been able to live it. As if I were Elara I began to be hypnotized by Lucas' story.
Slowly but surely, it made me feel like I was able to bring up more feelings for Lucas. There was no more suspicion in me for her. I felt like I was in a dimension that forgot Isabella was me.

"Will there be a meal together?"
"I guess so because there's an event today. So it's certain that the wolves in the Shadow Fang Pack area have prepared their hunt for our afternoon and evening meals here. They said there will be a bonfire at night."
"Wow, that sounds exciting, I can't wait to see the bonfire."
"Me too, let's go!"
I started following Lucas to the public kitchen, and sure enough, when we got there, we found many wolves busy cooking. Working together and preparing a lot of food like a party. However, our presence here was almost at the end of the activity. The food was almost finished. But Lucas and I joined in and tried to help as much as we could. I started to mingle with some of the female wolves in the area. They turned out to be friendly and didn't think of me as a stranger. I was really treated as part of the wolves in the Shadow Fang Pack area. Even though I was a wolf from another pack out there. But they didn't discriminate against me and tended to respect me. Maybe this was a form of respect for their Beta, Lucas. They really loved Lucas as their new leader. But here I didn't find Mr. Rezso and his son. Maybe they will be there when the event starts.
When Mr. Rezso comes later I have to meet him secretly and explain what I am currently doing in the Shadow Fang Pack area. I hope that Mr. Rezso can be trusted and is able to keep my secret with Ethan. Until everything is realized according to our plans and hopes. Even all the betas were present in this place. I just remembered that my husband, Ethan Blackwood, is a great and prominent alpha leader in this wolf world. Maybe he attended the invitation to celebrate Lucas' inauguration as Beta replacing Mr. Rezso in the Shadow Fang Pack.

"Come on Isabella, why are you so quiet?!"

I started to carry it back by walking with my head down. I saw from there Ethan saw me here. I felt nervous but we tried to be normal and pretend not to know each other's presence. I saw him chatting with the higher-ups in the wolf world. The Betas circled him.
After I finished putting away the dishes. I immediately ran to the back near the public kitchen. Then hid and felt confused about what to do now. But I have to be able to control myself even though there are many who know me here. I have to start being good at acting and pretending that nothing is wrong. Moreover, those important invited guests will definitely be here until the bonfire is over. Hopefully, I can control myself. Hopefully, Lucas also doesn't embarrass me in public like before.
