Chapter 63
Ethan's POV
We continued our conversation, discussing plans for Lucas and Mia’s wedding and reminiscing about the wonderful moments we’ve been through. Isabella’s massage made me feel more relaxed, and as she continued to talk, I savored every word that came out of her mouth.
The warmth and intimacy made me feel closer to her. It was a reminder that even though we’ve been through hard times, life still offers many precious moments to be grateful for.
In her loving and caring embrace, I felt a new hope grow—and I knew that our future was still bright with continued love.
A few weeks later, Lucas finally married Mia. The atmosphere around their wedding preparations was very lively. We seemed to be very involved, from making the invitations to the decorations. It was a time full of excitement and hope for everyone involved.
When the wedding day arrived, I felt an overwhelming sense of happiness. “Congratulations on your marriage,” I said to Lucas and Mia as they stood together at the altar, saying their vows.
“Yes, you are welcome. This is all thanks to you,” Lucas replied with a big smile, looking happy. He looked so excited and full of hope on his special day.
Mia looked graceful and charming in her beautiful wedding dress, while Lucas looked dashing in his suit. Their combination was so harmonious and suitable. My heart was filled with gratitude because Lucas had finally found the girl of his dreams, and today was a long-awaited moment.
Meanwhile, Isabella was busy welcoming the guests who arrived. She ran here and there, making sure everything went smoothly. Seeing her so energetic and happy made my heart flutter. I walked over to Isabella, wanting to give her support.
“Isabella, you are amazing! Thank you for helping with all the preparations,” I said, embracing her gently.
She smiled widely, exhaustion evident on her face but not erasing her happy premise. “It’s been a tiring job, but seeing everyone happy makes it all worth it,” she replied enthusiastically.
We stood together in the crowd, watching Lucas and Mia receive well-wishes from friends and family. The sounds of laughter and music added to the festive atmosphere, and there was nothing more joyful than seeing the two of them step into a new chapter in their lives.
The day was filled with warmth, love, and hope. Every smile and laugh that was uttered was a reminder that even though life can be challenging, love can carry us through it all. Enjoying this happy moment with you, Isabella, makes me grateful for every second we have lived and for all that is to come.
How happy I am to have Isabella by my side. She is beautiful, smart, and all the goodness she has made me feel so lucky. In my heart, I know that she is the best Luna I have ever had, and no other woman could ever take her place. Even if she ever leaves, I will wait until she is reborn, and I will marry her again.
“Why are you smiling to yourself?” Isabella asked, startling me out of my pleasant reverie.
I couldn’t help but smile. “I was just thinking about how lucky I am to have you, and if anything happens, I will always wait to be with you again,” I said, sharing my feelings sincerely.
Isabella was silent for a moment, then her face softened, and without hesitation she hugged me tightly. “I am so grateful to have you too, Ethan,” she said, her voice full of warmth. We both felt a deep love flowing between us, as we watched the happiness unfold around us.
In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Lucas and Mia’s wedding, we probably looked like second brides. We gave each other attention and affection, celebrating the love we had built despite the sadness and loss we had experienced.
I felt as if time had stopped for a moment, allowing us to enjoy this precious moment. In the midst of all the hardships, we had found a way to support and strengthen each other, and today was proof that our love was resilient.
“If anything happens, I want you to know that I will always wait for you, no matter how long it takes,” I said again, looking into her honest eyes.
Isabella smiled, and I could see her eyes shining with love. “And I will always find my way back to you, no matter where life takes me.”
In that warm embrace, I felt confident that together with Isabella, we could face whatever the future held. We were two souls bound together in a strong bond, and our love would continue to shine, beyond time and obstacles.
Isabella's POV
Lucas and Mia's wedding day was over, and we returned home. I was exhausted because the past few days I had been quite involved in the preparations for their wedding. However, even though my body felt tired, my heart also felt relieved. At least, I knew that Lucas had found his happiness and would not interfere with my life anymore.
Suddenly, Ethan approached me. “Isabella, there was a request from Lucas,” he said while handing me a small box. Curiosity arose in me. Didn't I already give them a gift for their wedding? Why did I receive another gift?
“Is this from Lucas?” I asked, looking curiously at the box in my hands.
Ethan nodded. “Yeah, he said it was for you. He said he wanted to give you something special after his wedding.”
Carefully, I opened the box. As the lid lifted, I found a beautiful necklace adorned with sparkling gemstones. I was stunned, feeling like the necklace reflected the warmth and care Lucas had given me even though we had just celebrated his big day.
“Wow, this is so beautiful!” I said, unable to hold back a smile. “But why am I the one getting this gift?”
Ethan smiled and explained, “Lucas wanted a special award for you because of all the work you’ve put into their wedding. He really appreciates your support.”
