Isabella's POV
A moment later I felt something strange. I felt like an intruder had entered this base camp. Was he a bad person who wanted to cause chaos? I immediately started to feel restless and confused about what to do about this.
Something was moving beside me, the sound of rustling was clearly heard, and... It turned out...
"Hey, you again?" I was surprised again by Ethan's presence here.
"Um, how did you get in here? This..."
“Shut, don't be noisy!" His finger immediately covered my mouth.
"Umm, yes." I nodded.
"I'm disguised as a woman." He whispered.
"Yes, I know that." Suddenly I couldn't help but laugh.
"Hahaha."
"Hey, you're laughing, stop being noisy! My disguise will be revealed if you keep laughing like that."
"Haha, yes, yes." I held back my laughter even though some of it burst into the gaps between my mouth at the edge.
My stomach felt really sore tonight because of seeing the silly and funny things my husband did. It was really unexpected that he would dare to do something like this.
"You're really reckless, huh!" After I finished with my ticklish feeling seeing him look like this.
"Hehe... It's all because I want to always be near you and don't want to be far from you."
"Hmm, you can; you always have reasons."
"Hehe, oh yeah, I deliberately took the time to stay here tonight. Because tomorrow and the next few days I will be going on a pretty heavy trip."
"Huh, what do you mean? Where are you going?"
"You'll know later after I get home."
"No way, I want to know now before you leave."
"Here, I'll whisper!"
I got closer to him, putting my ear close to his mouth. Only then did he whisper something to me. But I didn't hear it clearly. I didn't even hear any valuable information from him. Was he playing with me?

"Well, what else if not sleep?"

"Let's just sleep; after I finish my activities later, I will come back here to stay again while."

I started to close my eyes beside my husband. I saw him last also closing his eyes. Maybe tonight we sleep together. But when I woke up in the morning. I saw he was no longer beside me. I don't know where he went, maybe he started to go on that trip. Or did I just hallucinate last night that Ethan was really here disguised as a woman? Ah, it feels impossible.
It must be true, Ethan, and he woke up early without waiting for me to wake up first. Without saying goodbye, and maybe he avoided suspicion from the other female wolves in this base camp. Never mind, forget about that for a moment. I better focus on my mission while waiting for my husband to come back here to pick me up. Meanwhile, I started to wake up and get out of the base camp. Trying to enjoy the morning and the cool atmosphere. Breathing in the fresh air with the cool leaves still filled with morning dew. The atmosphere is in the middle of the lush and pristine wilderness. I started to close my eyes while taking a deep breath. Appreciating today with a beautiful and peaceful morning.
Then I started to think about washing my face with water, which was also refreshing. Looking for a water source not far from here. Until I found a spring from the river. It was really clear and transparent penetrating to the depths of the river. The ground looked shallow and there were lots of small fish swimming back and forth here. I started to take water with both hands. To continue, I poured it on my face.
For a moment I took the water and was about to pour it for the umpteenth time. Suddenly I almost slipped. But I didn't expect someone to help me and it turned out to be Lucas. I was shocked by two things. First I was shocked because I almost slipped. Second, I was shocked because suddenly Lucas was here and wanted to save me, who almost fell. Luckily he came immediately and swiftly helped me. If not, I might have drowned or been swept away by the current. The rocks here are quite slippery too.

For some reason, I was willing to be invited to sit by Lucas. As if Lucas had become a part of my life that played a very important role. Hmm.. it seems I have indeed begun to be hypnotized by him.
