Ethan's POV
I have to prepare many questions to ask Elder Rowan later. So that I can get many answers that I have been looking for the truth. For that, I started to think and remember what I would ask Elder Rowan. Hopefully, nothing will be missed when the time comes.
I closed my eyes and went through long nights many times. Hoping that my turn would come soon. But apparently, the time I was waiting for never came. Every day I was always busy with thoughts full of hope. Until today arrived. Where I was told by Wais to immediately prepare myself. Because soon Elder Rowan's business with Alpha Darius Gray would be over. I started to feel excited. But after a few nights passed, my turn still hadn't arrived. I felt very disappointed. But hope began to emerge again. That this was just before my eyes. I always encouraged myself with positive affirmations in my heart and mind.
"You don't have to worry too much Ethan. Your turn will come soon. I heard and got information regarding your turn time. That Elder Rowan is almost finished helping with Alpha Darius Gray's affairs. He said he almost found a common ground. That means it won't be long before you are called to meet him."
"Yes, I hope so too, I'm waiting for that time to come for me. Where Elder Rowan will soon call me to meet him. I really hope that it will happen soon. I hope I won't be disappointed again."
"Don't give up!" Wais rubbed my shoulder.
I almost forgot about Cleo. Suddenly I remembered her again when Wais rubbed my shoulder gently and hypnotized my fighting spirit. I have a lot to thank Cleo for. If not for him, maybe I would have been lost living in an era that I don't recognize at all. I would have lived wandering and full of confusion later. Luckily I met that rabbit. I always feel indebted to him. Although at first I was shocked because everything seemed strange and magical.
"Ethan, what's wrong with you?"

I was shocked when Wais began to notice my facial expression, which, looked sad and hesitant.
"Are you thinking about something else?"
I was forced to divert my attention to another story.
"My wife."
"What about your wife?"
"I miss her."
"Relax, soon you will meet her again and live together forever."
"Is that possible? What if I am trapped in this era forever? What if I can't get out of here and it's hard to return to my real life?"
Wais was silent for a moment because he also couldn't guarantee that it could happen either. He couldn't really be sure that I would be able to return to my previous life. However, Wais spoke again by saying that I had to really put my faith and trust in the miracle that would soon meet me.
"Don't talk like that, Ethan. You have to stay optimistic. I will try to help you as much as I can. I will make sure that you will meet the real Elder Rowan. I am sure that after meeting him you will find a solution to your problem. So don't worry too much. Stay in a feeling that is heading towards calm. So that all your wishes and hopes can come true as soon as possible.”
I was silent, stunned by Wais's words, which were always positive and never pessimistic in viewing and facing a problem. I got anesthesia of enthusiasm many times from him. Although many times I also felt tired and almost gave up. But I began to believe again that I would return for Isabella.
Suddenly there was something strange about me. Then Wais made me aware and I felt shocked after seeing myself like this.
"Ethan look at yourself!" His expression was very shocked and so panicked.
"Huh, what's wrong with me?" I immediately looked at myself.
"Your feathers."
"What's wrong with my feathers."
"Falling out."
Yes, it's true I saw feathers falling and peeling a little from my skin. Some looked like burns, only leaving a reddish-white epidermis layer. "Wais, why is this happening? Why are my feathers falling out like this?"
After being silent and stunned, Wais did not answer immediately. Then he looked like he was thinking and remembering something.
"Wait! Ethan, have you been on this earth for more than seven days?"
"You mean this era?"
"Yes, that's right, is that so?"

After a while, I started to remember again and it turned out that I was here for the eighth day.
