Chapter 23

Cassie was resting on his chest and Ryker’s eyes landed on the mark of Cassie’s neck. An anger coursed through his veins and he asked while tapping the mark. “Cass, what is his?”

Cassie’s eyes abruptly opened because she didn’t plan to confess anything to Ryker. Even after having the first sex of her life with him, she is not ready to tell him anything about her. Cassie shut her eyes back and pretended to be asleep. As she was already drained so she truly drifted off after a few minutes in his arms.

As Cassie rested on him, Ryker wanted to stay here with her forever. His heart was beating in time with hers, forming a lovely symphony. He was feeling exhilarated that he didn't want to leave. As soon as Ryker heard the main door of the mansion bang, he opened his eyes and pulled away from Cassie. Locked the door and disposed of the condom. Ryker closed his eyes, calming himself with a few long breaths. He slipped into his clothes and put covers over Cassie.

To see Cassie's face, Ryker sat on the floor and tucked her hair behind her ear. Cassie's mouth fell slightly as she let out a few faint snores. Ryler laughed, Ryler giggled but suddenly he realized what his purpose was to have sex with Cassie. His smile faded, then he got up and quickly headed to the bathroom.

He stood in front of his mirror and started finding peace and satisfaction which he wanted to feel badly but it was nowhere to be found. In frustration, he bangs on his counter and convinces himself that he will be fine when he humiliates Cassie in front of the whole college as she kicks him in front of everyone.

He didn’t want to see himself in a mirror anymore so splashed some water on his face and stormed out of the bathroom. He was expecting Cassie still sleeping but she was wearing her clothes. He couldn’t switch his attitude immediately because deep down he didn’t want to but to satisfy his ego he still planned to hurt Cassie.

Ryker smiled. “How are you feeling?”

Cassie looked at him. “A bit sore.”

Ryker asked. “Why did you wake up?”

Cassie rolled her shirt down. “Someone was practicing martial arts in the bathroom.”

Ryker sticks out the tip of his tongue for a second. “Can I get anything for you? If you want we can stop at any drugstore.”

Cassie shook her head. “Can you drop me off to my place now?”

Ryker nodded grabbed his car keys and led the way. Cassie was walking slowly as she was feeling a burn between her legs. Ryker noticed and he stopped by and bought her medicines also asked if she wanted him can take her to the hospital. Cassie shook her head and then Ryker dropped her off and kissed on her forehead before leaving.

Cassie peaked into her mom’s room and she was sleeping. Cassie went to her room and closed the door behind her. She stood against it and Cassie started to breathe quickly. A smile spread on her face, she closed her eyes but she saw stars in darkness and tears streaming down her cheeks.

With Ryker, Cassie never imagined that she would lose her virginity. How could he suddenly enter her life and win her around to his way of thinking? Though Cassie was confused between Daniel and Steven who to have sex with first? Ryker took the lead. Cassie shook her head and hurried to get in the shower, thinking the entire time that she needed to tell Ryker about her preferences before Steven.

After the shower, Cassie checked her phone and got disappointed because she was expecting calls or texts from Ryker but she texted him “Good Night” along with a kissing emoji and then set her alarm for the morning and drifted off with a smile on her face.

Cassie woke up to a dream in which she was kissing Peter. Not only that, but Peter also removed her top and was pinning her into her own bed. Due to the fact that she and Peter were making out in her bedroom, Cassie immediately opened her eyes and looked about for any sign of Peter's presence.

Cassie checked her phone and still nothing from Ryker. She sent him a “good morning“ text. She didn’t allow any negative to cross her mind and climbed out of her bed. After getting ready for the college when she went downstairs Ruth asked. “Is everything all right?”

Cassie smiled. “Everything is perfectly all right.”

Ruth touched her earrings and braided hair. “So what is the reason behind it?”

Cassie shot up her shoulders. “Nothing I just wanted to look beautiful.”

Ruth cupped her face and kissed her forehead. “My daughter is beautiful without making any effort.”

Cassie picked up a toast kissed her mom and stormed out. When she reached college she was expecting Ryker to wait for her at the gate like always but he was nowhere to be found. She sighed and finally dialed his number but it went straight to a voice she left him a message and then headed to her class.

After the class Cassie tried to meet Steven and rushed to his practice court and there he was sitting alone drinking water. Cassie called his name and Steven smiled and asked her to come close. Cassie makes sure to cover her mark given by Daniel before walking over to Steven.

Steven kept her bottle aside and kissed her. “You have no idea how much I missed you.”

Cassie kissed him back and sat next to him. “When is your match by the way?”

Steven raised his two fingers. Cassie nodded. “And after two days I am not going to let you go away from me at least for a week.”

Steven laughed. “And what you gonna do about Ryker and the other unknown guy?”

Cassie nodded. “We’ll talk about this later but right now your focus should be the match,” Cassie raised her hands “Because I don’t want to hear after meeting me you lost the spark in football.”

Steven grabbed her neck and kissed her until he heard a whistle from his coach to come back for practice. Steven grunted. “Gotta go now.”

Cassie kissed him as the final act of the moment, and then she waved to Steven before rushing out of the court. she started looking forward to the time when she would reveal to Steven that she was polyamorous.
