Ruth winced. "I just hate feeling so helpless."

Daniel set the medicine and a glass of water on the nightstand. "Ruth, we'll be here to support you during this. Just make an effort to relax."

Cassie took a deep breath to smile and she told Ruth. “Mom, I have something to tell you.” she held Daniel’s hand “Actually, we have something to tell you.”

Ruth’s lips curled up and she asked Daniel. “Is this the thing I was eagerly waiting for?”
