Chapter 63

Cassie made Steven’s favorite pasta and coconut-sprinkled cupcakes. She donned a maroon frock and made a high bun of her hair. When dinner was ready, she was about to call Steven but she heard the doorbell. The moment she opened the door, a giant bouquet greeted her.

Cassie giggled and asked Steven to shower his face, as she wanted to make sure before letting him enter.

Steven entered and asked if she had baked his favorite cupcakes. Cassie nodded in response and placed the bouquet on her kitchen island. Steven stood next to her. “Tell me, what can I do for you?”

Cassie looked at him and sighed. She pointed. “Set the table.”

Steven nodded and started doing it. “You asked me to make dinner so why did you do it?”

Cassie squared her shoulders. "I had time, so instead of waiting for you, I found cooking to be the best time pass."

While setting plates, Steven told Cassie. “You're looking beautiful.”

Cassie pressed her lips to hide her smile. “You are stating the obvious.”

Steven approached her and pointed at her. “Did you do all this for me?”

Instead of answering his question, Cassie turned to face him. “Who was I supposed to meet at dinner?”

Steven nodded and smiled. “Got it.”

Before Steven asked another question, Cassie posed the following: "Why isn't Raven with you?" It's his week."

Steven tilted his head. "I asked Elena for one day off; my man will bring Raven tomorrow."

Cassie asked. "Isn't it hectic for a five-year-old to travel every month?"

Steven chuckled. "What are you talking about? Raven loves traveling."

Cassie took a deep breath. “Why did you ask Elena for one day off?”

Steven pointed at the table. “I think it would be best to eat first and then we’ll talk.”

Cassie shook her head and walked over to him. "Listen, Steven; I can't eat when nothing is clear, so if you want to part ways, then say it and kill the suspense. Trust me, I'd understand because I know how it feels to love someone with your heart, and I know you love Elena with the depth of your heart."

Steven was taken aback. “Do you want a breakup?”

Cassie shook her head. “No, not all. I thought you wanted it, which is why you took so long to talk to me and preferred a private meeting."

Steven sighed in relief. “You scared me, Specs. I asked to meet in private because I wanted to know if you would accept me with my five-year-old son. I mean, now my attention is divided between Raven, Game, and you.”

Cassie held his hand. "Steven, I can’t be selfish and exclude you from my life just because you have a son now. I can't forget your efforts to adjust to me, along with Ryker and Daniel, so if you can manage for me, of course, I am up to facing any challenge with you, unless you love me exactly the way you loved me before."

Steven removed the gap between them and cupped Cassie’s face. “The day I dropped Ryker and Daniel’s stuff at your place, I told you I loved you and today I am telling you again that I still love you. Specs, I will never stop loving you. My life was upside down when I learned about Raven and my dad’s betrayal. I was upset, and I know I made a mistake the day you came to my dorm. I should have told you that I love you."

Cassie stood on her toes and kissed him. Steven didn't hesitate to grip Cassie tight by her face and didn’t let her go away. He opened her lips by pushing his tongue down her throat. Cassie held him by the waist and pinned her body against Steven's. When Cassie nibbled his lower lips. Steven groaned and picked her up. Cassie wrapped her arms around his neck and legs around his waist. With all her strength, she pulled him towards her because she didn’t want him to break the kiss.

A surge of heat began to course through her body as Steven began to brush his fingers from her wrist to her arm, then to her shoulders, before moving down to her waist. Cassie was moaning in his mouth as his touch sent chills down her spine. Both were wearing clothes but Cassie felt his bulge beneath her needy core.

Cassie lowered her legs as Steven pulled down her straps and began kissing her neck and shoulders. Cassie closed her eyes, and her head leaned back while holding his shirt. Steven pulled down the same strap further, causing her plump globe to lunge out. Steven's eyes widened as he gazed at her bouncing globe. He was touching and watching her after a few months, but it felt like an eternity.

Steven continued to look between her globe and her face. Cassie licked her lower lip to tell him what she wanted right now. Steven nodded and leaned in. He closed his lips around her hard pebble. A pleasure pulsated through her veins. Cassie in her shaky voice “Steven, I…..I missed…. missed you so muchhhhh.”

Steven broke the kiss. “I missed you too, Specs.”

Cassie whimpered. “Don’t stop kissing me, because I have been missing like hell your hands and lips all over my body.”

Steven whispered. “Trust me, Specs, I will try my best to fulfill your urges from back and front.” then he turned Cassie’s back towards him.

Cassie gasped to which Steven asked. “What happened? Specs did I hurt you?”

Cassie shook her head and stammered. “Da….Daniel, when did you come?”

Steven’s hands were all over Cassie but when he looked at Daniel he covered her globe with his hand. Daniel was standing at the door holding flowers. “I came early because I wanted to make it up to you as today I was being a bit harsh to you.”

Steven and Cassie didn’t know what to say, Daniel added “But I encountered such a sultry, sensual, and sexy sequence that I was unable to take my eyes off.”
