Chapter 70

Cassie took a week to check whether Steven and Peter asked her to back off or not. They showed their interest in pursuing a relationship with her overall week. She decided to call all four guys and asked them to come to a cafe near the college. The next day at the decided time they were sitting in a cafe waiting for Cassie to talk.

Cassie cleared her throat. “Actually, I call all of you to tell you that we all are together from now on.”

Peter and Ryker looked at Steven, Daniel and Steven looked at Peter with shock in their eyes. Cassie raised her hands in the air. “Guys, Peter and Steven are both willing to pursue this.”

Steven asked. “What if Peter once again realizes he can’t do it?”

Peter clenched his jaw. “What if I asked the same for Steven?”

Cassie sighed and looked at Daniel, he nodded and responded. “Guys, you don’t need to fight or argue about each other’s intentions. Just keep in mind we all are together because of one person whom we all love immensely.”

Ryker, who had been quiet until now, spoke up with a strong but calm voice. "All right, I get it. We need to trust each other if we want this to work, even though it's not the most normal case. Don't second-guess or doubt each other's effort.”

Peter and Steven looked at each other, and the tiff between them slightly softened. Ryker's words seemed to cut through the unease and bring them back to the actual circumstances they were all trying to deal with.
Daniel leaned forward and looked at each of them with a steady gaze. "We all love Cassie, and she's made it clear how she feels about all of us. It's not just about who spends the most time with her or is the most loyal, though. It's about making sure Cassie knows that we all love her. We're all in this together."

Cassie nodded. "Exactly." None of you should feel as if you're racing against each other. That is not the point. I care about every one of you for different reasons, and I believe we can each contribute something unique to this connection. But it will only work if everyone is on the same page.”

Steven exhaled, running his hand through his hair, as if he had finally let go of some of his previous concerns. "I'm just worried that this will get messy. But I trust you, Cassie, and I know you wouldn't have brought us together like this if you didn't think it might work."

Peter nodded in accord, his former agitation giving way to a more contemplative face. "I know I had my doubts, and I apologize. But I'm willing to try as long as we're all honest with one other."

Ryker placed a soothing hand on Cassie's shoulder and smiled slightly. "We are here for you, Cassie. We'll figure it out together."

Cassie smiled and in a soft tone. "I know this is hard, but I believe in us. I think we can make this work if we are honest with each other."

Daniel suggested, lightening the mood. “how about we celebrate this and have a kick start of this relationship together?”

Ryker seconded him. “Yeah, we should all go on vacay.”

Cassie sighed. “I don’t think Derek will grant me leaves.”

Daniel leaned back. “You are my assistant so don’t worry about it.”

Cassie looked at Steven. “Can you go with us?”

Steven smiled and leaned forward. “I think I can squeeze a vacay in my schedule.”

Peter asked. “Nobody is asking me about my availability.”

Ryker lifted his chin. “Oh, you are available.”

Peter squinted while looking at Ryker. “How do you know about my availability?”

Ryker raised his brow. “Come on Peter, we both had sex with Cassie a week ago so the calm on your forehead screams the availability.”

Daniel and Steven were taken aback so Cassie looked at them. “Don’t look so shocked like you both hadn’t done anything like this with me.”

Ryker suggested. “I think it’s time Cassie to have all of us together.”

Cassie’s eyes widened. “What? All four of you together? Are you insane?”

Ryker squared his shoulders and looked the rest of three. “I think this is the core idea of our relationship.”

All three nodded and Steven responded. “Yeah, Ryker is right, Specs.”

Cassie looked at Daniel for some support but he played along with his guys. “Yeah, I haven’t thought this before but now Ryker has mentioned so I am thinking he is right.”

Cassie stood up. “Guys I am not ready for this.”

Peter pressed his lips while looking at the guys and then Cassie understood that had been played. Cassie took a deep breath “I am going to kill all of you for ganging up against me.”

All boys burst into laughter and Cassie sat back with flared nostrils. Ryker asked all. “Where should we go guys?”

Peter shot up his shoulders. “I've never been to any vacay with friends so I have no idea.”

Steven requested. “Any place far away from media and paparazzi.”

Daniel suggested. “How about our beach house?”

Cassie asked. “Where is it?”

Ryker excitedly responded. “Almost 2 hours drive from New york.”

Steven immediately. “I am in.”

Peter with an ear to ear smile on his face. “I’ll drive.”

Cassie raised her hands in the air to finalize the plan. “Alright so we are going to the Brown brother’s beach house in Wood’s car but when?”

Steven leaned back. “I am available whenver you guys want to go.”

Cassie asked, looking at the guys. “How about next week?”

All four said at once. “Done.”

Cassie went to vacay years ago when his dad was alive and after his sudden death her life has flipped upside down. Now she is looking forward to peace and happiness in her life. They all ordered food and had a fun time together.

Three years ago, no one would have believed that these four guys would become friends. Now, they are all together, sitting in a cafe, laughing, high-fiving, and talking because of a common person, Cassie.
