Cassie pressed his hands. “Steven please.”

Steven swallowed his anger and asked. “You gave him a second chance?”

Cassie nodded. Daniel told them. “I just talked to Mom and she told me one of her trusted doctors and his team coming here and they will take care of the transfer.”

Cassie squinted. “Transfer? I don’t understand. What does that even mean?”

Ryker added. “Ruth needs 247 care and monitoring, this of course not possible here so the doctor is mom’s friend and he is willing to keep Ruth in his clinic until she recovers.”

Cassie stood up. “How could you guys even think about it? I don’t belong to any billionaire’s daddy like you all. I can’t afford any doctor and hospital except this one.”

Ryker held her arms. “Cass, there is no need to worry about anything because right now Ruth’s recovery is the most crucial part.”

Daniel continued what Ryker was trying to say. “Also money doesn’t matter because,” Daniel pointed at all three “We have got you covered.”

Cassie opened her mouth but Steven put a finger on her lips. “You can repay us by being a good girl.”

Cassie smiled and once again tears shedded from her eyes. “I don’t know what I would have done without you all.”

They had a group hug, Cassie knew it wasn’t easy for Steven to get close to anyone but she was happy at least he was trying to accept all aspects of her life. No one knew Ruth’s recovery would take this long, It’s almost about three months. Cassie’s life juggling between college, hospital, and job. Daniel, Ryker, and Steven had been her greatest support.

Peter was helping her in college in case she missed any lecture but their banter continued. Peter believes this competition actually gives Cassie a kick to hate Peter and forget what had happened between them. Peter is now feeling left out just like Ryker was feeling last year.
