CHAPTER 37
Because she needed some peace in the house, her nursery had been put on hold. They would only continue while she wasn’t in the mansion like now. Talia followed the queen to the nursery room and fell in love with it.
It was beautiful filled with neutral colors that didn’t discriminate anyone. The ceiling was covered with stars and was just appealing even to the elder’s eye.
“I love it, it’s beautiful.”
“I hope the child will love it too,” the queen said.
“The child will. After all you put so much effort into making it.”
“What else can I do? This brings me so much joy. I can’t wait for the baby to come.”
“It’s early but time passes by fast,” she said.
“Oh, I know it does. Let’s take a walk now, the paint is still fresh and might affect you,” the queen said and she was touched.
She didn’t even register it in her mind that the paint can affect her but the queen did. She was lucky to have her. She took a walk through the garden looking and admiring the flowers while the queen tells her stories that were just interesting. She might be a queen but she was just full of humor.
After a few more rounds they finally settled in the gazebo and a pot of citrus tea was brought.
She always loved its scent, so refreshing. The tea was poured into the small traditional cups. She took hers and took her time taking in its refreshing scent before she took a sip.
“It’s good,” she complimented.
“I know how much you like it and had the cook prepare some.”
“Thank you for being considerate to me,” she meant it.
“I’m doing what a mother should do,” the queen said.
“And I thank you for that. What can I do for you?” she asked.
“What do you mean?”
“I’m very happy now that I saw you and I can do anything you want me to do,” she meant it.
“I was always curious about something. My grandmother used to tell me when she was overseeing the last seer, she did something that was never done before and I couldn’t believe it,” the queen said and she could see that she still didn’t believe it.
“What did she do?” she asked not wanting to find out for herself.
“Can you make snow fall even in summer? It’s been ages since snow fell in our kingdom,” the queen said and now it made sense.
Ever since she was born there was not a single day no matter how heavy the rain was when snow fell.
“I can try to do it for you. When I know how, I will surely make your dream come true,” she told her.
They began to enjoy their tea accompanied by the birds singing flying over the garden. Winter was coming and she had a feeling it would be wonderful. She was going to start winter preparations and she now had an idea of what to buy for the people that she was going to bless on her birthday.

It was a day before Talia’s birthday and his mother had told him about her wishes and he respected that. She was such a wonderful person after all. Since he didn’t have an exam that day, he decided to spend some time with her and help her with her shopping.
She just didn’t want to sleep in the house but wanted to go and purchase the stuff herself. He was fully dressed and ready to go but first he needed to search for Talia.
Ever since she came out of the hospital, she had been eating a lot so if you didn’t find her in the bedroom, the lounge, the garden, you would definitely find her in the kitchen; which is where he went to. He found her seated having a bowl of noodles. The cook just smiled at him when he entered.
“Talia just this morning only, this is your fourth time eating,” he complained.
“I know. I just can’t help myself,” she replied innocently and he just shook his head.
“Just eat okay. I will buy you all the food you want to eat,” he told her and saw her face brightening.
“Lovely, since we are leaving let’s pass by the pizza den. I feel like having a chicken tikka pizza.”
He just couldn’t believe her.
“Okay, I will buy you as many pizzas as you want. Now finish your bowl, we have a lot to do,” he said.
He waited for her to finish and packed a cooler box full of water and juices. Since he wanted to have a nice quality time with his wife, he decided to take the limo for some privacy.
“I love this car; it’s so spacious and long. I can sleep in it,” Talia said.
“It’s the reason why I took this one. My dear wife can stretch all she wants,” he said taking her hand in his.
“Thank you for putting up with me.”
“I’m happy to do that,” he said and she put her head on his shoulder.
