CHAPTER 48

He stood there wearing round glasses like a true nerd; he just looked funny and cute at the same time.
He was holding something that was too familiar, a red envelope. She snatched it from him and opened it. There was a letter just as she expected.
“I hope you will continue to smile for your smile still brightens and shines the world that I live in. please cheer up and be strong. A”
All along she had been receiving these letters at least five times a week. She had kept all of them well but never seen who sent them. She really cherished them and always wondered who sent them and yet he was in front of her all the time. He had loved her from the beginning and still did.
“Did you write this?” she asked after reading the contents and he nodded in reply.
“Why?” she asked him.
“I’m sorry, I never meant for you to find me.”
“Is that why you had been sneaky all the time?”
“You told me last time never to appear in front of you and I followed it,” he answered shyly and she smiled at how cute he was.
“If you are a man why didn’t you come and confess your feelings to me?”
“I just wanted you to be happy. You were happy with both of them. I never want to see you being uncomfortable and I don’t deserve you,” he said.
“You…….” she just didn’t know what to say so she took a leap of faith and kissed him.
He froze right there and she stopped.
“I guess that’s my answer to you. What was your name again?”
“Aaron, my name is Aaron.”
“I will be your girlfriend if you can still have me,” she confessed.
She saw his face light up, he was really handsome now that she was looking at him at such a close range.
“Do you want to go on a date with me?” he asked.
“Sure, when?”
“I will go and change and come and take you in ten minutes,” he said and rushed back to his house.
Chloe turned around and headed back to her house. She rummaged through her clothes and ended up wearing black jeans with a pink top. She couldn’t wait to grab that happiness Talia had made her to be aware of. When she finds time she was going to call her and tell her how grateful she was.
She was waiting outside when she Aaron coming towards her. She rubbed her eyes several times but still it didn’t feel real. Was this the Aaron she had just kissed or he had a twin brother.
“Chloe,” he said as he stopped right in front her.
“It’s you right, Aaron?”
“Yes, it is me.”
“What just happened to you?” she asked him.
“I guess it was time for me to be who I really am.”
“I can’t believe you just followed me.”
“I didn’t mean to. I never thought you would go out with me one day and if I had a chance to go out with you I wanted to be the best for you.”
“So you made yourself look normal like that. Why would you even do that when you are such a fine man?”
“Because this was meant for you only and not for other girls,” he said. She was touched by those words that she just pulled him and she kissed him as hard as she could.
Aaron was hers, someone who had eyes only for her and she was just blind all this time. He looked at her after the kiss and wiped the tears that were rolling down her cheeks.
“I’m glad that you liked me when I was looking like that,” he told her honestly.
“I guess for the first time I just wanted to follow my heart.”
“I’m grateful that you did that,” he said and took her hand in his.
“So, where are you taking me?”
“Let’s watch a movie, I have always wanted to watch one with you,” he told her and she smiled and she followed him. She didn’t mind where he was taking her as long she was just with him.
When Neal finished his exam he was surprised to see Talia waiting for him at his school. He rushed towards her and gave her a hug.
“You look happy. What happened to you?” he asked her.
“Let’s just say I made someone realized how happy she can if she forgets the past and focus on the current.”
“What tricks did you play again?”
“I didn’t do anything. Speaking of which, I’m craving a movie. Let’s go and watch one.”
“Right now?”
“Yes, to celebrate you finishing your exams. Can’t you do that for me and our babies?”
“Whatever you want duchess, let’s go,” he said and she was happy once again.
He had that feeling that she was up to something and he just couldn’t pinpoint it at all.
Talia felt great after picking up her husband. She knew why she needed to watch the movie. It was for all of them. Neal paid for the tickets and they entered inside.
