CHAPTER 49

The movie was an epic one and she really enjoyed it to the fullest. Holding her popcorn, she went out of the cinema after the movie ended and bumped into someone she wanted to see.
“Fancy meeting you here Chloe,” she said feeling happy with what she was seeing.
Neal suddenly came to a halt upon seeing Chloe. He didn’t understand what was happening but the look on his wife and Chloe’s wasn’t scary at all.
“You are the person I wanted to see. Neal, you don’t mind if I borrow your wife for a few minutes right?” Chloe asked him and he just looked at Talia.
“That’s good. Let’s grab something to eat while we are on it. I get constantly hungry nowadays,” Talia said.
“Perfect, I am hungry too.”
In disbelief Neal watched as the two ladies left smiling and not fighting each other at all as if they had been friends for centuries. He realized later that Chloe was with someone and he looked at the guy.
“Duke, it’s nice to meet you,” he said.
“It’s nice to meet you too. So who are you?”
“I’m her new boyfriend. Call me Aaron,” he said.
“That’s good news. I think we should have something to drink and have a talk too.”
“I think we should.”
Talia smiled as Chloe told her about what had happened earlier.
“I just want to say thank you for today. If it wasn’t for you I would have lost it. So can we be friends?”
“Do you mean that?” she asked her.
“I know you can tell if I’m lying and you know I’m not.”
“I would love to be friends with you Chloe.”
The guys arrived as they sat down and she pulled Neal to her.
“Neal, meet my friend Chloe. And you too should make a truce or else I will make you suffer,” she warned them and they both laughed.
“I wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of your wife Neal. I know how scary she can be,” Chloe said looking relaxed. It’s been too long since he last saw her like that.
“I’m happy for you Chloe. I wish you happiness and like she said truce,” he said and stretched his hand. Chloe took it and the four of them laughed like real friends do.
In the end the four of them spend a nice day together, having fun and lots of food to eat. What more could they encounter except for such great happiness and joy?
“Thank you,” Chloe mouthed to Talia as they boarded the car and she just nodded her head.
She was happy, being able to help even someone she once considered to be an enemy. Being partial to all was her duty as a Seer. If she couldn’t help anyone just because she didn’t like them then what kind of a Seer would she be?
She wasn’t going to dirty the reputation her predecessors had left behind. She was going to show mercy to everyone and let them know that second chances are for everyone. She received hers, so why would she deny anyone such a chance like that?
She lay her head on her husband’s shoulder and felt his hand holding her waist. She looked into his eyes and saw that love that was only reserved for her.
“I love you,” she whispered.
“I love you too, Lia,” he told her and give her a peck on the forehead. She closed her eyes and let all worries melt away for she was in good and safe hands.
She was going to continue to be a good wife, a good seer, a good duchess, a good princess and above all a good mother to her children. She was going to do everything with much energy and never slacks off in her duties.
She wasn’t going to disappoint anyone even herself. She would dedicate her life to all those that matters and above all she would always love and protect him, her husband.
Her husband, her god, her lover, her prince, her duke and the father of her children; she just loved him.
She was after all his Her Royal Highness.
