Chapter fifty-seven: Disobeying
Chapter fifty-seven: Disobeying
Jessica
"Are you going to hang out with her?" I asked softly, he shot me a look and raised an eyebrow.
"Why are you asking?"
"I just want to know." I shrugged, he pressed his lips together.
"You don't want me to go?" I looked down at my lap, twiddling my thumbs and shrugging again.
"I don't know."
"Jessica, she is a good friend. It would be respectful of me to catch up with her, don't you think so?" He said somberly.
"Well, you wouldn't let me hang out with Steven and I was trying to be respectful." I said matter-of-factly and he flared his nostril as his eyes darkened.
"You know very well that boy isn't worth your time. So don't bring him up."
"Why," I pressed further.
"What is the difference? Forget when he tried forcing himself on me, the beginning was fine. I stayed away from him because you told me, why can't I say the same for you? I could see it in her eyes that she still have feelings for you."
"Stop it, Jessica. Avery is not like Steven. She wouldn't force herself on me….."
"How do you know?"
"Because I dated her for four years, and I knew pretty well. You knew Steven for just weeks."
"Who said she wouldn't try something on you because you are taken?"
I felt my blood boiling, I wanted to just drop the topic and ignore the jealousy but that fear of him choosing someone else over me was starting to creep back into my system. I was also pissed that he was being hypocritical about the situation.
"What if you go with her alone somewhere and hang out? She will take that advantage and who said you wouldn't go along with it….."
I stopped myself before I said anything even more stupid. I was getting so emotional over something so minuscule but I am just afraid. I cowered in my teeth, regretting what I just said. His eyes softened and he reached for my hand, grasping it tightly in his own.
"Oh, my Princess. You know I wouldn't leave you, not in a million years."
I remained quiet, just letting myself feel his thumb rubbing back and forth along the back of my hand.
"I don't know what else to do or say to prove that."
I knew what I wanted him to say, I also knew he would never say it. He didn't seem like he ever would and I just needed to get over it and stop hyping myself up for nothing.
"I just.." I started, looking down at our hands and shaking my head.
"I just don't want to feel insecure about every little thing. I care about you and I don't want you to leave me…."
"Princess," he squeezed my hand, making me look into his eyes.
"I am not going to leave you, that is final."
He brought my hand to his lips and placed a ginger kiss on my knuckles. He then turned my arm over and ran a finger down the ink embedded into my skin.
"Little eagles" he smiled and I couldn't help but grin at the phrase and nodded in response.
"Little eagles."
***Jeffrey Pov.***
We arrived in Marseille later in the afternoon and you could tell that Jessica was a little on edge from her jealousy outburst in the car. I hated the way she felt about herself, that I would leave her for supposedly someone better but there wasn't someone better than her. If I leave Jessica, I would have nowhere to go, I don't know what I would do with myself.
We pulled up to my house and into the driveway, her eyes going wide at the luxurious building. I always loved watching her eyes when she saw something new and intriguing, one could see the fascination in her eyes.
We stepped out of the car and one of my men helped in carrying our bags to the foyer. She stood in the middle of the room, glancing at the artwork on the wall and examining every little detail.
"You know there is more to the house than just the photos, right?" I smirked and her head whipped in my direction.
"I know," she nodded.
"I just wanted to see the art pieces you have here. Besides, I was waiting for you to offer a tour to me." I smiled and ran my ring clad hand through my hair.
"I would love to."
We waltzed around the house, showing off every room and little snippet inside them. My favorite room was my design room, where I had tons of fabric and sketch books when I was working from home. Her favorite room seems to be my bedroom.
"It just screams Jeffrey Craig, you know?" I chuckled, a little confused as I looked around the room.
"Um, no?"
She walked over to the record player in the corner, flipping through the stacks of vinyls on the shelf next to it.
"You have tons of eighties and nineties rock albums. Your walls match your personality and there are way too many pairs of boots in your closet."
"You never had too many boots." I defended, she smirked and rolled her eyes.
I rolled my lips between my teeth and waltzed over to her, arms crossed.
"You know, I have told you many times that if you rolled your eyes at me, I would bend you over my lap." She visibly stiffened and gazed up at me hesitantly.
"So?"
"I think you have rolled your eyes quite enough today." I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the bed.
"Jeffrey please…."
She begged but instead I sat down, bringing her along with me and draping her over my lap. She has one hand gripping the bed and the other holding my knee. I pulled her jeans just enough to reveal her perky ass, noticing the red lace underwear and smirking.
"Did you wear these panties just for daddy?"
She whined a confirming response, prepping for the sharp pain that would come with me spanking her. I placed my hand in her ass, gently rubbing a small circle before I brought my hand up and then swiftly connected it with her olive skin. She groaned and gripped the sheets as well as my leg.
I brought my hand down again and then one more time, each smack causing her to jerk and groan with discomfort. I pulled her jeans back up and helped her off my lap and onto the bed. She cringed at the pain sitting on her ass so she flopped over and laid on her side.
"Now you know what happens when little girls disobey their daddies."
She then sat up and crawled behind me, wrapping her arms around my neck and nudging her nose against my ear as she whispered the most unexpected words I would have ever heard from her.
"Now you know why I like disobeying you."
