Chapter seventy-four: Valentine's Day

Chapter seventy-four: Valentine's Day

Jessica

*******Seven months later*******

"So do you have plans for Valentine's Day?"

Janice asked quietly as we were eating breakfast and Jeffrey was still asleep in my bedroom as fast as I knew. I shrugged.

For over seven months, Jeffrey refused to let me out of his sight. He sleeps in our apartment almost every day and I don't want to move the house he bought because it was a little bit far from campus. But I am enjoying my ride on my Lexus 470 jeep, I loved the car so very much.

"Honestly, we haven't talked about it." I replied.

Valentine's Day is in a week's time and with just finishing the annoying planning of his forty-two birthday day from last week and letting me breathe, I wasn't surprised that we hadn't discussed it. Besides, adding on the fact that we had already spent the Charisma and New year doing the same thing, it felt like Valentine's day was just going to be another holiday doing the same celebration.

"What did you do on his forty-two birthday?" She asked as I stood up and took my plates to the sink, giving her a shrug.

"I mean, we were out to dinner and spent some time with his family, nothing too elaborate. But we have been doing that every single holiday these past few months. I feel like we were just going to do the same thing this time."

"Jeffrey doesn't seem like the type of guy to have a lame routine like that. He better give you something incredible otherwise I am going to have a talk with him." I chuckled.

"You are not his mother, Janice."

"Obviously, I would be a lot hotter if I were his mother. Only a goddess can create a human being as gorgeous as he is." I rolled my eyes.

I went back to my bedroom and continued on with my morning, throwing on some clothes for the day and pulling my hair into a ponytail before sliding my fuzzy earmuffs on. I decided to take Jeffrey's wool scarf to class since it was a lot thicker than the one he bought me and it was far too chilly outside to wear a thin one. I leaned over Jeffrey before leaving and pressed a kiss to his temple.

"Bye, Jeffrey." I whispered, brushing his unruly curls away from his face.

"I will be back by three."

Just as I was about to walk away, I heard him mumble and I turned around to face him.

"I love you," he muttered and I pressed my lips together as I smiled.

"I love you too." He rolled over to look at me and his eyes narrowed.

"Is that my scarf?" I looked down at the fabric draped around my neck and nodded.

"Yes, it is cold outside."

"But I bought you a scarf." He smiled.

"Is my scarf too good for your Gucci?" I cocked my head and gave him a look.

"This Gucci one is too thin for this weather. I don't want to die." He rolled his eyes at my dramatization.

"You will not die. Now run along and get to class before you are late, my love."

"Go back to sleep, Jeffrey." I said as I walked towards the door.

I went about my day, going through the routine of three lectures, a lunch break and two more lectures before I could go back to the apartment.

At three, I had finally walked through our apartment's front door and tossed my bag next to that couch. It was ridiculously cold today and I couldn't wait to change back into my sweatpants and fuzzy socks before and nestled myself under my warm bed sheets.

I went into my room and a shirtless Jeffrey sat on the floor, glasses perched on the bridge of his nose as he typed away on his laptop and multiple spreadsheets and files were scattered around him. He looked up at me and smiled.

"Hi, Princess. How was your day?"

"Cold," I shivered, removing my coat and hanging it on the back of my door.

I changed into my sweatshirt and my favorite fleece leggings immediately and crawled onto my bed, tucked myself under the duvet and Jeffrey frowned at me.

"What? You are just going to get into bed and not kiss me?" He whined.

"You have been gone almost all day, l need some love." I giggled and snuggled deeper into my sheets.

"Why don't you get up and give me some love?" I suggested.

"It is warmer in bed." He smirked and continued typing.

"Don't tempt me, baby girl."

I reached out and tapped his shoulder repeatedly to annoy him. He turned and looked at my hand and I was quick to pull away when he leaned down and pretended to bite at it. I retracted my hand before pointing at him and wagging a finger.

"Bad, Jeffrey."

He pouted and removed his laptop from his lap, crawling over to me and setting his chin down on the side of the bed.

"Sorry, my love." He said softly and I smiled as I let my hand ruffled his curls and he closed his eyes in satisfaction, a content smile forming on his lips.

"Will you get in bed with me now?" I asked and he rolled his eyes before crawling onto the bed with me and nestling himself between me and the wall.

"Happy now?" He gazed down at me.

"Very happy," I grinned and pulled him in for a slow kiss. The faint taste of his toothpaste filling my mouth.

That afternoon, we decided to stay indoors and watch a couple movies and we had quickly dropped off some paperwork to his company. It was far too cold to go anywhere, we decided on watching The Flowers of War movie while we snuggled on the couch.

"Do you think Christian Bale is attractive?" He suddenly asked me as he leaned his head towards me, his eyes still focused on the movie. I chuckled slightly.

"Yes, but why did you ask?" He shrugged.

"Just wondering." I looked back at the television and cocked my head before adding.

"But I think Tong Dawei isn't too hard on the eyes."

He slightly sighed through his nose and I looked over to him. His pink lips were pressed and he looked slightly annoyed. I reached up and placed my hand on his chest, rubbing small circles.

"But none of them can compare to the man sitting beside me."

I saw the slightest tinge of pink in his cheeks and he softly smiled before his eyes snapped over to mine.

"I don't think I can compete with either of them." He returned his attention on the screen, I frowned and shook my head.

"Don't say that, you are the most handsome man in the world." I placed my hand on his cheek and moved his head to look back at me.

"Nobody can compare to you, Jeffrey." He tucked his bottom lips as he continued to stare at me before speaking.

"I love you,"

"I love you more."

He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine and I felt his hand trail across my chest to feel my bare breasts under my sweatshirt, he smirked against my lips.

"I am so tempted to fúck you right here.

"You know Janice will be home soon." I pecked his lips once more.

"She is such a cockblock sometimes." He said jokingly but he was right.

"This morning she asked what we were doing for Valentine's Day."

"Well, what are we doing?" He asked me with raised eyebrows and I shrugged in response.

"I feel like our holidays have been quite repetitive lately. We need to spice things up." He raised his eyebrows and opened his mouth to speak but I quickly pressed my index finger to his lips.

"We are not having another threesome." He closed his mouth and narrowed his eyes.

"How do you know I was even going to suggest that?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Because I know your ways of spicing things up, Jeffrey."

"Maybe, I was going to suggest something else. But you will never know because you didn't let me speak." I rolled my eyes and responded teasingly.

"Come on, Jeffrey. Speak up boy!" He looked at me like I had gone mental as I giggled.

"I am not a dog, Jessica."

"Are you going to suggest your ideas or not?" I groaned.

"What if I want it to be a surprise?" He shrugged and I softly smacked his arm.

"Now you want to keep it a secret after complaining about not being able to tell me?"

"Yes, because I like teasing you a lot." He smirked and I shook my head in disbelief.

"You like being a pain in my ass?" I said as a smile appeared on my face.

"Yes, it is fun." He responded.

He kissed my forehead and then captured my lips as our mouth molded together.
