Chapter seventy: Strippers
Chapter seventy: Strippers
Jessica
By the time Jeffrey had arrived, the party was almost full blown and I was more than slightly buzzed.
He walked through the door, a small box in his hand and a large bag draped from his fingers. He smiled upon seeing me, rolling his lips between his teeth as he glanced around the room at the guests.
"Hi, Jeffrey." I greeted him, throwing one arm around him and pressing a kiss to his cheek, his slight stubble poking my lips.
"Hi, Princess." He chuckled as he looked at my drink.
"Are you already drunk?"
"No, I am just buzzed." I shrugged, pointing to the gift table.
"Here, you can just drop them there. Do you want something to drink?"
"I will take a glass of you." He smirked and l gave him a look.
"Okay, fine, I will take what you are drinking."
"Do you want it to be strong?"
"As strong as you can make it, baby girl."
I looked over to Janice, pointing to my drink and motioning her to make a duplicate for Jeffrey. She nodded with a subtle smirk and left her place on the couch, headed into the kitchen.
"So, how does it feel being twenty-one?" I shrugged.
"I feel old."
"Old?" He laughed.
"I must be a grandpa then."
"You are forty-one, you are not much of a grandpa yet." I smiled and sent him a wink.
Surprisingly, he got along with my friends which I was very excited about. I was a little nervous having him over since he is over twenty years older than all of us and he wasn't exactly a college party type of guy anymore. I stood next to Emmanuel while we waited for Janice who had run outside for a little bit to grab a little something extra for the party.
"So, he is going to be staying with you guys?" Emmanuel asked and I nodded.
"Yes, his apartment is currently unavailable so I offered for him to stay with us. We will be going back to Paris after the year is over, so it was kind of pointless for him to buy a new house for these few months."
"You are just….. you are going with him?"
I pressed my lips together for a moment, Emmanuel was acting strange lately but he wasn't the type to question me about stuff like this.
"Um, yes." I replied, glanced over to Jeffrey.
"It is what both of us want."
"What about everyone here? You will just leave your friends and family like that?"
"What are you trying to say?" I asked, lowering my voice after I realized how loud we had been talking. He shrugged, taking a drink from his glass.
"I just think it is unlike you to travel across the ocean for a guy who broke your heart…."
"Whoa whoa," I stopped his ridiculous accusations.
"He didn't break my heart, I left because I needed to finish my education here. You of all people would know how important my education is to me."
I followed his cold stare across the room to Jeffrey, who was conversing with my friends.
"Why are you asking me all this stuff? If you don't like Jeffrey, then you should just say it. I would rather know that than you constantly acting so cold towards him."
"I don't like him, you deserve better."
"What do you mean better? I love him and he loves me."
"Yes, and so do I…." He quickly stopped his sentence, his face paled and I felt my stomach drop.
Emmanuel had been my friend since Janice and I began hanging out. He was always considered the older brother I never had until I developed feelings for him. I distanced myself when he got a girlfriend and even then I still has a crush. But then I met Jeffrey and I went back to that sibling-like love for him. I looked down at my feet and rolled my lips between my teeth.
"I am sorry," he whispered.
"I shouldn't have said that."
"I think it would be better if I go to Jeffrey." I said softly and left my place next to him as Janice was walking through the door.
"Strippers are here!"
She announced and I immediately looked to Jeffrey whose face was placed before we both looked to the door and two men walked through the door in policemen uniforms.
"Janice, are you kidding me?" She gave me a bewildered look.
"Obviously not since they are already standing right here. Now, come on. Sit down and let them do their jobs."
She grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards the middle of the room. One of our female friends smiled giddily as she put a chair out for me and sat me down. My cheeks flushed red with embarrassment as I looked back to where Jeffrey was sitting but he was gone. I glanced around the room for him, but he had disappeared completely. I felt terrible, he probably left because he told me he didn't want strippers, yet Janice didn't listen.
The lights had dimmed and Janice put out a multi-coloured disco lamp, while another friend of ours changed the music from a popular song on the radio to some sexy upbeat music.
As the strippers went to work with their choreography lap dance, I couldn't help but think about Jeffrey. Where did he go? Did he leave for good?
One of the strippers pushed my legs apart before standing between them, completely ripping off his shirt. I smiled in embarrassment as he began grinding his hips against me, I had to enjoy this for Janice right? This is my birthday gift from her, I didn't want to be disrespectful.
The second stripper came up in front of me as the other went around to my friends and he straddled my legs. They were both extremely attractive and I felt my stomach flip as he took off policemen hat and placed it on top of my head.
"Get ready for the real treat, sweetheart." He smirked as he left my lap and I mentally prepared myself for whatever they had planned.
A blindfold was then placed over my eyes and I heard everyone whistling and shouting. I felt my heart race slightly until I felt two hands placed on my shoulder, slowly sliding down my arms. I felt the cold metal of a ring scattered on a few fingers and I was about to speak before I heard a familiar voice whisper seductively in my ear.
"Hi, Princess."
My lips parted as his hands left my arms and I soon felt him push my legs apart. His hands ran from my ankles to my thighs, suddenly grabbing my hips and then straddling me. The blindfold was then torn from my eyes and Jeffrey was revealed to me, wearing nothing but his trousers and a single blue tie around his neck.
"Oh, my goodness." I gasped, taking in his attire.
"Who are you and what have you done with Jeffrey Craig?"
"Just shut up and enjoy the show, baby girl."
He smiled and I gave him a confused look before he took the hat off my head, putting it on top of his before leaving my lap and joining the other strippers by the wall which I assumed was their stage.
I couldn't help but laugh as my boyfriend attempted to strip like the others. He was extremely sexy and I couldn't believe it was Jeffrey standing and dancing over there, teasing me in front of all my friends.
I would have never guessed that the billionaire CEO, Jeffrey Craig would agree to this but he seemed to be having a hell of a time so I didn't question, I just went along with the show.
Love makes us do stupid things.
