Chapter 51



Fredrick ended the call and was totally depressed, he didn't want his brother Ronaldo to be involved in the situation at hand but Alvin already involved him which made him depressed, it was then he realized that Alvin's threats are becoming even more serious than he expected. He was confused because he didn't have any means of raising the money he is owing Alvin.

'What do I do now? How did I get myself into this mess? Diego brought a suggestion and I don't think I will be able to do that because it's too risky and I can't even take that risk right now"Fredrick said to himself.

In a confused state Fredrick decided to ask one of his most trusted guard who name is Spider for advice on what to do with the situation on ground because he wasn't finding it easy anymore trying to select what to do either to accept the business deal Diego offered or not to, but if he doesn't pay back the debt he will lose his life.

'Spider!" He shouted as he called his guard.

'Yes boss, you called me. Is there anything you want me to do for you?" Spider asked Fredrick as he ran to join him in the sitting room.

'Yes I need your advice, this is very rare for me to seek advice from you but it's not really like an advice I need a suggestion" Fredrick replied Spider giving him the reason why he called him to come.

'Okay boss," Spider said to Fredrick.

'I loaned a huge amount of money from Alvin which I know you are aware of, and the time to pay back is long overdue and I still haven't paid back. He even gave me extra time of two weeks to pay him back or else he's going to kill me, but before killing me he would kill my loved ones and make sure I bury them with my hands before killing me. But that's not the problem now and neither is it the reason I call you here. The problem at hand now is how to pay back and a few moments ago Diego came here and suggested a business for me that would help me pay up my debt and still have enough money after that" Fredrick explained to Spider.

'What kind of business is that boss if I may ask?" Spider asked Fredrick.

'The business has to deal will selling of hard drugs and weapons to some powerful men and get huge amount of money in return, and I don't like that kind of business anymore because I did it in the past and it costs almost cost my life I even lost my girlfriend in the process which hurt me so bad. But my friend Diego had been selling hard drugs and weapons for a while now and he has never been caught, so he is advising me to join him in the business because that is the only way I can get the huge amount of money I need to pay my debt back" Fredrick explained further to Spider.

'Okay boss," Spider replied to Fredrick, nodding his head.

'So I need your suggestion on what to do, because I just got off the phone with Ronaldo and he said Alvin called him to threaten him that if I don't pay back the debt I owe him he will kill him, and not only that he also went to Diego's to pay him a cold visit and threaten him (Diego) as well that if he (Diego) doesn't advise me to pay him his money he would kill him (Diego). So I am confused now on whether to take Diego business offer or not to" Fredrick added as he was still trying to explain everything going on to Spider.

'My boss, you know I won't lie to you," Spider said to Fredrick.

'Yes I know," Fredrick replied.

'I have been working with you for years now and I am the oldest guard here, so I hope you take whatever advice I give you now. Alvin is not a man to be toyed with, he is a man of little words and more actions, he doesn't give empty threats, he kills without checking, nobody dares him and goes away with. I must tell you, you are very lucky because Alvin doesn't give people extra time. Alvin killed one of my close friends because he borrowed money from him and was unable to pay back so he killed him. If I knew about it I would have told you not to borrow money for him because there is speculation that he likes to lend people money and make sure they don't have any means of paying back so that he can kill them. Alvin love's to kill, he likes to see blood" Spider explained who Alvin is to Fredrick.

'Alvin?" Fredrick asked Fredrick, surprised because he never knew Alvin was so dangerous.

'Yes boss, he appears like a good person but he's not, only those who know him deep down know the kind of person he is and what he is capable of doing" Spider replied Fredrick.

Fredrick was surprised and short of words because he didn't notice all these things in Alvin, although he has been told some things about Alvin but he never knew he was this dangerous.

'Boss my advice will be for you to accept the business deal Diego offered you because that's the only way you can pay your debt because if you don't pay back what you owe Alvin within the time he gave it's going to be disastrous" Spider explained further to Fredrick.

'So you support Diego by telling me to accept the business deal so that right? Fredrick asked Side

'Yes Boss, I think you should just accept the business deal and save yourself the stress any further because two weeks is around the corner, and the earlier you act the better for you. I know it will not be easy for you to do it but considering the fact that your last experience the last time you involved yourself in such a business you almost lost your life, so just add a positive thought because it will be a success. You said your friend Diego has been doing the business for a while now and never for once g he has been caught, so that is a good sign right. Boss, if I may ask, do you have any other source of getting the money other than the business deal Diego offered?" Spider asked Fredrick curiously.

'No I don't as a matter of fact the reason why I called Diego in the first place is to help me find a solution" Fredrick replied Spider's question.

'You don't have any other alternatives why you shouldn't be easy any more time boss just accept Diego advice and do the business deal immediately" Spider said to Fredrick still trying to convince him (Ronaldo) to join Diego in selling hard drugs and weapons.


'Am so confused right now because which either way I would still have to take the risk think I will accept your advice and join Diego in selling of hard drugs and weapons to some bad guys because it's not just about me right now but my family and friends are setting involved in my mess" Fredrick said to Diego already accept to join his friend Diego business.

'That's a good idea boss," Spider replied to Fredrick.

'I will call Diego and let him know that I have agreed to join him. Thank you so much for your time and advice Spider I really appreciate" Fredrick said to Spider thanking him for giving him listening hearts and helping him find solutions to it.

'Thank you boss" Spider said to Fredrick as he left him to be let alone.

Without wasting time Fredrick decided to go to Diego's house rather than calling him on the phone. He got to Diego's house and knocked at the door and then his friend Diego opened. Diego was surprised to see Fredrick at his place.

'Fredrick, what brings you to my place? Did Alvin come to your place to threaten you again?" Diego asked Fredrick curiously because he was surprised to see Fredrick,

'Ronaldo called me, he said Alvin called him to threaten him just like he did to you" Fredrick replied Diego.

'I knew Alvin was going to because he knows Ronaldo is your brother and you care a lot for him so he will want to kill him" Diego said to Fredrick with an annoying look on his face.

'I have decided to take your advice," Fredrick said to Diego.

'So you are joining me in selling hard drugs and weapons after all your pride anyways I knew you were going to join me sooner or later" Diego said to Fredrick laughing.

'My life and the life of my loved ones are at stake right now so I have no other choice than to join you in the selling of hard drugs and weapons since that is the only way I can pay my debt, and you said the client is willing to pay well and will also pay me before the next week" Fredrick explained to Diego.

'My good friend Diego is glad you realized this earlier, so I will call Ares and ask him to make his order as soon as possible so that we can deliver his t to him and get paid before two weeks" Diego added.

'Okay, that will be a good idea Diego at least will know what he needs and deliver them to him before two weeks time" Fredrick added

Diego called Ares and took his orders in what he (Ares) needed but the only thing that didn't sit too well with him was the fact that Ares instructed them (Fredrick and Diego) to deliver the hard drugs and weapons he ordered personally. Diego didn't like them because he never delivered his client orders to them personally. But that didn't discourage them (Fredrick and Diego), they agreed to go together which they did and the business was a success. Immediately after Ares got his order he paid Fredrick and Diego the money. They were both happy and since it was a joint business deal they divided the money equally among themselves.

With the money Fredrick was able to pay Alvin back his money in full he then decided to pay Alvin a visit. He got Alvin's house address and went there. He got there knocked at the door and Alvin opened it.

'Fredrick what are you doing here? Are you here to give me my money or to beg for more time?" Alvin asked Fredrick without exchanging pleasantries wondering what might have brought Fredrick to his house.

' I did not come here to beg you for more time, I have come to give you back the money you loaned me in full with the complete interest. Thank you very much for your patience. I appreciate" Fredrick said to Alvin as he brought out a suitcase and handed it over to Alvin and took his leave.
