The military man at the middle cleared his throat and stared straight at the police man " We are here to take back Mr Rowan!" He said with a loud and thick voice which could make any victim cower.

" Mr... Mr Rowan?" He stuttered as he rushed to the police van and opened the door without any hesitation. He didn't even bother to flaunt his right as a police officer and he surrendered without any right.

The slender officer had already hid himself under his seat and kept praying that he wouldn't be found.

Rowan came out of the Van and the Military men saluted him. "Thank you!" He said sternly and faced the young police man who now had his sweaty back rested on his car.

He was about to say something when a female police officer came out from the station and walked toward them with her gun pointed to Rowan without any fear in her eyes.

" Mr Rowan... You are under arrest!" She said firmly and raised her gun even higher.

Rowan stared at her for a while and chuckled. The truth was that he could send the two police men away when they came to arrest him but he was getting tired of the meeting and the video they were playing was a total lie against him which might implicate him if he didn't act in time. He saw the police presence as an opportunity to leave the meeting room so that he could start his planning against Sapphire and the old man but a measly police officer was pointing a gun at him when he could even command their heads? He had the power to order their high ups around and a lowly officer pointing a gun at him made him want to laugh out really loud.

" Are you pointing that gun at me?" He questioned with a sly smile but the look on the woman police officer's face didn't change a bit!. She was really bold and fearless but that only made the situation more interesting for Rowan who liked the officer's boldness.

" And why will you arrest me? On what ground?" Rowan asked with his arm crossed. He was indeed an insurmountable man but he was a man of law and someone who would never do things that would paint him as a criminal. He had fought many business man over business issues but he never for once took a life and he made sure of that. So, why would he ever be arrested when he was such a saint even as a typical business man?.

" The video and files sent to our office proved you guilty and you have to explain yourself. You showing off and trying to shame the police force with the military men behind you is really uncalled for and you have to explain that too. So, Will you kindly and like a gentle man, follow us now or should we take it the rough way?" She asked rudely and the military men instantly cocked their guns, ready to fire if Rowan ordered but Rowan waved his hand at them as he smirked.

It was first for him. It was the first time a lady would stand in front of him without minding his status and looks and a lowly officer for that matter!. He had had enough!.

" Rough way? Rough way you say? " he laughed sarcastically as he walked closer to her without fearing the gun in her hand which was pointing dangerously at him.

" Step back!" The police officer ordered furiously with her legs moving back on it own.

Rowan smirked again and pocketed his hand as he walked closer and closer to her...

" I said step back or I will shoot!" The police lady warned but Rowan wasn't ready to listen to her~

The police officer took few steps back and cocked her gun, ready to protect herself if need be. " I warned you." She mumbled as she pointed the gun at his chest and...
" Bang!"

The police officer closed her eyes as she heard the gun shot and she thought she had killed a suspect and a big tycoon at that!.

She panicked inwardly with her eyes still closed as she thought of ways to run away without being caught by the military men or the police force and Rowan's people who would do anything to take revenge on the person who killed their boss.

She was still on this thought when she heard someone chuckling. She at first thought it was a sobbing sound but she was sure it was a chuckle and she wondered what sort of crazy person would chuckle after seeing a corpse on the ground.

She opened her eyes to see the silly person as she was ready to teach him or her some lessons.
" Were you that shocked?"

She was yet to register the things around her when she heard the annoying voice she thought she'd never hear again and she wiped her face as she looked at Rowan with complicated eyes.

" You... You are fine?" She mumbled after checking Rowan from his toe to his head and she realized he was okay and he sighed in relief.

The police officer looked at her hands as she could feel that there was no gun on her anymore and she searched the ground with her eyes but she couldn't find it.

'Did I lost it after I shot it then?" She questioned herself inwardly as she couldn't wrap her head with everything that was happening and why her gun wasn't with her anymore.

" Are you looking for this?" Rowan inquired with a trading smile and the police officer raised her head as looked at the gun in Rowan's hand with disbelief in her eyes.

She was the one holding the gun. So, how did it get to Rowan's custody?" She couldn't help but wonder about this and it made her really confused and there were lots and lots of questions she wanted to ask him but she was starting to feel fear in her heart.

" What did you do?" She asked with a strong face, whereas her mind was already trembling.


. Rowan turned to the military men... " Capture her!" He ordered and the Military men nodded and saluted.

" What... What do you... what do you think you are doing?!" The lady police officer asked as she took few steps back with her hands in front of her.

She took a fighting stance but her legs were moving on it own and she really appreciated it.

" Don't... come here..." she stuttered but it was more like she was pleading.

Two of the Military men captured her like a prey and bundled her into the station while the remaining four Military men stood behind Rowan.

" Your phone" he muttered and one of them gave him his phone.

Rowan stared into space for a while before he chuckled and dialed a number on the phone handed to him.

" Yes, Mr Commissioner of police. This is Rowan speaking. " he said as soon as the call was picked.

" Ah! Mr Rowan! Good Morning! I feel so honored to receive a call from you this morning, sir!" The commissioner of police greeted like a lackey who would do anything to suck up to his master and Rowan grinned.

He would normally hate something like that but he enjoyed it at that moment and he didn't mind being sucked up to at all!.

" I need a favor from you and i don't know if you can do it well or I have to call another commissioner of police. " He muttered with a sly smile on his face.

" Wow! Why won't I? You should know I will pull all strings to make sure I satisfy you, Mr Rowan. Feel free to ask what you want as it is an honor that I'm the first person you thought of." The commissioner of police replied hastily and Rowan grinned widely.

" Good! I want you to order the arrest of Miss Sapphire, the CEO of SAPH's secretary for defamation of name and make sure to force him to confess where he got the fake video from..

I'm giving you a week to make him confess and let the whole world know what despicable thing he did. Let me know if you can't do that. " he muttered with a stern voice and The commissioner of police didn't hesitate before he agreed and he even promised him that he would be the one to handle the job himself.
Rowan ended the call and returned the phone back to the Military man.

" Now, let's see who the boss is, Miss Sapphire!" He mumbled and smirked.

A black Mercedes Benz drove into the station and parked at the entrance. A man in black alighted from the car and walked over to Rowan's side.

" Boss" the man in black called and bowed as soon as he got to Rowan's side.

" Why did you bring this car?" Rowan asked the man with his eyes fixed on the car that was parked a bit away from him.

" Ah..." the man looked at the car.. " Mr Ray said it would become troublesome if the reporters find out that you came to the police station and he asked me to bring this car instead of your favorite ones" He explained and bowed.

" Impressive!" Rowan mumbled and turned to the Military men who was back to six in number and he nodded.

" Thank you all for today! Say my gratitude to the caption and tell him I will come by one of this days to see his face again!" He muttered and walked away while the Military men remained saluting beside their van.

The officials were all dumbfounded with the outcome of the event of the meeting they had that day as Rowan already left with the police men and Mr Kang refused to return to the meeting room.

None of them could say a word as they were all waiting for who would talk first when...

" Now that Mr Rowan has been defeated by Miss Sapphire. We can all see the competency of Miss Sapphire and it's so certain that there is no one who is as capable as her.
Are we going to wait for Mr Rowan who would probably be jailed or should we just appoint Miss Sapphire as the new heir of the conglomerate?" A big eyed short man stood up and suggested to break the deadly silence of the room.

" Mr... or what is your name? Will you sit down now or should I make you sit?!" The oldest man out of the officials muttered furiously and the big eyed short man had no choice but to sit and keep quiet.

The oldest of the officials let out a deep breathe and turned to Sapphire and old Lan. " I don't know how you feel about doing all these that you've done but your reaction just made it clear that you two don't see us as somebody.

To you two, We are just nobodies but bunch of silly officials doing and saying trash, right?" He asked calmly but it was obvious on his face that he was annoyed and disappointed at the same time.

Mr Holland was an old man and he had been a respectable elder among the officials for a very long time. He hardly talked in meetings because whatever he suggested would be the final decision and he was a very outright man.

He wouldn't side any one and he wouldn't fight anyone. He would always look carefully before he chosed someone and he was a righteous man who would never cheat or accepts bribes.

Mr Holland felt extremely ashamed and sad by what happened to Logan, not because he pitied him but because it happened in the meeting room and because he was sure that the video was a big lie.

He had done all the investigation he was supposed to do on Rowan and he had found out he was an out right man who won wars with his intelligence and hard work and there was no way he would have missed something like what was displayed in the video.

He decided not to talk because he felt like Mr Rowan wasn't a push over and he could always help himself but...
