But him being arrested wasn't part of his expectation and that too right in the meeting room even when the elders were yet to finish watching the movie!.

Old Lan frowned a little as he quickly stood up!. Making the oldest official angry wasn't part of his plan and he actually didn't think much about it before be took the steps.

He called the police immediately he got to the front of the meeting room so that Mr Rowan could be quickly defeated but he never thought that would annoy the officials that much and the head official for that matter!.

He started sweating hard as he clenched his fist to calm his storming mind. " I'm sorry, Mr Holland.. I didn't plan to do it that way. I was just trying to help the police men apprehend a criminal they failed to apprehend and had i know you will be this angry, I wouldn't have done that . I'm so sorry and this isn't instigated by Miss Sapphire at all.

It was all my plan and she didn't even know about it at all, please do forgive me." Old Lan explained vividly and also made sure that he cleared Sapphire's name out of the mess so that it wouldn't affect her in any way even if they were to make the matter worst.

Mr Hollard stared long at the scheming old Lan and rolled his eyes. He hated men that put pride in being mischievous and scheming and he painfully termed them as dangerous men who were a great danger to the society. But he knew he could no longer talk further or people might think he was siding with Rowan which wasn't so and he wasn't even ready to mix his name in the mess on ground because even him was scared of Old Lan at that moment.

Everyone in the room kept quiet as they await what to do next. Rowan would be locked up and the news would reach the world in no time, putting someone who had a prison scandal as the heir to the conglomerate would greatly affect their market and it would be a great pain in the neck even for an expertise like Rowan to solve. So,their only option was Sapphire, even though none of them really liked her to be the heir, they had no choice as she was the only candidate at the moment and she was their only choice.

" Let's see how things go, after that we will schedule another meeting but right now, let's all visit Mr Rowan at station and we can decide the next step from there.

We need to know the truth of this matter as we can't just believe a random video someone brought to frame another opponent. " A pot bellied tall man suggested and everyone agreed except Sapphire and Old Lan who scoffed and looked gloomy.

" Let's end this meeting here..." Mr Hollard muttered and the officials nodded.

" So soon?" They all heard and they turned to the direction of the voice at once as every single one of them were surprised to hear the voice because they all recognized it.

Turning to the side, they all saw the man they were planning to visit in cell. The man they all thought would have been locked up right in front of them and with his hands in his pocket and he was standing like the insurmountable man they all grew to know.

Right by his side was Mr Kang who had refused to enter since they took Rowan away and right behind him were high ranked police officers and a commissioner of police was even among. Standing tall in front of his men with an aloof look on his face which drowned fear in the heart of the officials..

Old Lan creased his brow as he looked at the man he had planned against standing in front of him with police men behind him. He would have thought that they brought him back to ask some questions but he wasn't a fool and he saw the calm look on Rowan's face which could only mean one thing and that was... he was released within a matter of few seconds! Not even a day or half a day had passed and he was released??

Old Lan found sweat rolling down his achy back as he sat weakly. He couldn't believe that something like this could happen even with all those evidences he got!.

" What... What did you do?" He stuttered as he asked shamelessly and Rowan smirked.

" I'm cool, am I not? I'm so amazing that you are crushing on me already?" Rowan asked and winked at old Lan mischievously.

" I'm back, guys! Shall we continue the meeting?" He asked and walked back to his seat. Mr kang also walked back to his seat and sat down.

" I'm back, Miss Sapphire." Rowan mumbled and sat down with a sly smile on his handsome face.

Sapphire closed her mouth which she had forgot to close for some minutes since Rowan entered and she lowered her head, fearing what would happen next. She could see well and she knew the man standing at the door step was a commissioner of police and it wasn't like he was an escort to have escorted Rowan to the meeting... No! He was there for an arrest but who could it be? Sapphire was scared.

" Uhm Uhm!" Mr Hollard cleared his throat to attract all attention.

" Now that Mr Rowan is back, I think we can continue the meeting, right?" He asked with a raised brow and the officials who were still shocked just nodded their head as response.

The meeting continued and they all discussed about many things. Rowan read the presentation he brought and omitted the plan he had for Sapphire for the day because he already had another one on set and it was a hot one at that!.

Sapphire also read some presentation but it was full of errors as her mind was unsettled and the look the commissioner of police was giving her made her really scared and it was like her heart would jump out at any time.

" We will end the meeting here and schedule it another day. Today was a big mess, thanks to someone. " Mr Kang announced and the officials all stood up.

" Now that we are done with the meeting, I hope I can start some fun now?" Rowan said with a smirk and everyone turned to him.

" Mr Hollard, I hope you won't feel bad at me? I made sure we end the meeting before signing up to be a player right?" He asked and Mr Hollard smiled. He liked Rowan for some reason but he never showed it.

" Good!" Rowan said and moved out of his seat. He pocketed his hand and walked closer to Old Lan.

" Man! You know what they call me,right? People in the business world calls me, The Insurmountable CEO while people call me the Ice King. Do you think all that were just shows? Or made up names?

Hell No! I worked them out and they call me that because that is truly what I am! . I'm a business man but I've never for once use any dubious means to win against my partner, do you know why?
Its because I love playing fair games!" He muttered, still keeping his smile on his face.

" But you? You are so old already and you are still this dubious and scheming? I envy you~ I envy you a lot. But you know what? I love this kind of plays and I'm going to play with you to the real end!" He added and nodded to the commissioner of police.

" Mr Lan. You are under arrest for defamation of character and for producing an illegal criticism video." The commissioner of police announced coldly and ordered one of the police men behind him to handcuff old Lan which they immediately did.

Old Lan knew there was no point in resisting or trying to prove stubborn. So, he just stretched his hand for the police to do what they want and he was dragged away afterward as none of the officials could say a word.

No one felt pity for him but instead, they envied the authority and power of Rowan who was the only one that could pull off such a stunt!.

" Wait please!" Sapphire, who had kept quiet along the way shouted suddenly and the police men stopped.

" Whats the name of your police station?" She asked with a flushed face.

The commissioner of police told the police to keep moving while he showed Sapphire his tag where his station name was boldly written and she nodded.

" Okay , Thanks!" She said and moved back.

" Fun?" Rowan questioned devilishly and left the room.

The officials stared at each other as they all gasped in amazement " He is really his name!"

" Wow! What a man he is! He didn't even spend a moment in the cell?"

" He is the real Rowan we knew!" The officials all started murmuring among themselves.
Rowan muffled his laughter as he walked to his car with his hands still in his pocket.

The commissioner of police was already waiting there for him and he bowed immediately he got there.

" Hello, Mr Rowan " the commissioner of police greeted with tone full of respect and Rowan nodded.

" Its okay. Make sure you put the two police men who came to arrest me as the one in charge of him. Make him confess where he got the video and those that helped him to get it. Arrest them all and I will tell you what next to do after that." He told the commissioner of police.

" Ok sir!" The commissioner of police replied and bowed.

" You can leave now." He said and the man left after a bow.

" What do we do now?" Sapphire's driver asked with a concern look on his face. He had been working for Sapphire for years and he had a lot of memories with Old Lan which made him and Old Lan some sort of friends.

Not having him around felt like torture and it was boring, especially for Sapphire who had spent most of her life depending on him as a father and a best friend. He was really close to her and she felt really bad that he would be locked up because of her.

" Take me to the station. Let's go meet him!" Sapphire said to the driver and he started the engine. They were about to leave when she sighted Rowan standing beside his car with his eyes closed.

She was stunned with his beauty for a while but she was quick to remind herself whom the man really was and she cleared her throat to get back her senses " Stop the car." She told her driver.

She alighted from her car and walked down to where Rowan was standing.

" Tell me, what are you going to do to Old Lan?" She asked with her arms crossed and with a head raised high.

Rowan chuckled with his eyes still closed " I love giving people surprises and its only fun then because there would be a lot of things to find out at once!" Rowan explained and Sapphire's eyes darkened!.

She looked at Rowan with great hatred as she tried to calm down her raging nerves. " Are you going to torture that old man?" She asked with a raised brow and that was when Rowan opened his eyes.
" When I'm playing games, I don't check ages because I always find it boring. So, Miss Sapphire, I'm going to play the fair game with your old man like I'm playing with a young dude!" He walked closer to his car and opened the door as he entered.

" If you are so pained, you can go there to replace him. I merely leave you behind because it would become so boring if the two of you were to be locked in there together." He said and smirked.

He started his engine and drove forward a little before he wind down his side glass and poked his head out " Why don't you check on the man you locked up?" He said and winked.
