***Callums pov***

She sits between my legs and rests her back against my chest.
The warmth from her body is doing wonders to my own and her scent makes Beacon relax as well. He has been tensed all day. Learning Zandras history, being away from Hope and receiving all the information about the bloodsuckers made him pissed.
I circled my arms around Hope, pressing her harder against me in a hug and took a few deep breaths before telling her about my plans.
“I planned a pack dinner..” I start
“Oh?.That sounds nice she answers tracing her fingertips up and down my arms”
“I have two reasons..The first is to link our new members from Alans pack, they need it. A wolf without a link to a pack can not find peace..they become depressed and restless and they have been trough enough losing their home, Alpha and a lot of pack members.” I continue
“Of course! I feel so bad about taking up all your time..Cathy told me there are so many still at the clinic, badly wounded..maybe I can go there tomorrow? See if there is anything I can do to help?..I really feel bad Callum..I know you think this is a lot for me..but at the same time, its a lot for you to and with everything that is going on..I’m so sorry..” I was baffled about her big heart..once again.
“Whats the second reason?” she asked
“I have had you for myself long enough, its time for you to be presented to the pack as well.” I start, kissing the top of her ear before continuing.
“ When an Alpha meets his mate, there’s to be a ceremony. She, in this case you will be linked to the pack, stepping up and take your place as the Luna.”
“Oh..will I be able to do the mind thing?”
“ Yes, you will. But…”

“To be linked, you need your wolf. You need her completely,” I say, almost holding my breath as I let the words sink in.
“Zandra has no wolf!”
“No, but Zandra is a witch” I laugh
“So, Luna needs to be unbound before the ceremony?”
“Yes, but in your case, I wouldn’t be surprised if she is already linked, seeing she is who she is.”
“What does that mean?” She frowned.
“It means I think Luna could link if she really wanted..but its just a speculation”
She stayed quiet..still leaving trails of tiny sparks on my arms
“I have a suggestion..I want to invite our closest packs too. I want them to know I've met my true mate and my future Luna”
“Is that important?”
“It is.”
“How so?”
“To show strength I guess..A pack with an Alpha is a pack..a pack with an Alpha couple is a strong pack and if this couple is true mates, it becomes not only stronger but more cohesive. The pack feels the strength in the bond and other packs think twice before starting something. Even if we are allies there is also rivalry between the packs.” I explain
“About what?”
“Different things I suppose..territory and boarders, seats at the Council, business deals..We are a bunch of hot headed creatures, we don't have any problems finding things to bicker about..” I chuckled
“After the dinner, we can have the ceremony, I can give a speech, Zandra may want to say something to, and we do the unbinding, connecting you to the pack”
She is quiet for a few minutes, and I don’t push her.
“Zandra says that I'll probably wolf out immediately..says Luna will want to stretch her legs”
I smiled and struggled not to laugh again
“Wolf out huh?..that’s fine, we go for a pack run if you do. In fact, the pack would love it!”
“Does it hurt? To shift I mean.”
“I won’t lie to you Hope, the first times does hurt, but it get easier until it becomes natural. And I will be there with you, every second and every step of the way.
“When do you want to do this? How much time do you need to plan and to invite the other packs?”
“Not much, how about Friday? That gives us three days” I felt Beacon getting excited
“Okay..”
“Okay?”
“Yes, why wait any longer. I can feel her more and more every day, Its not fair to her, not letting her lose. She never asked to be bound..It was Aaylas decision..and sure, I can understand it..from a human point of view..but for Luna..to sleep for such long periods only to wake up when you are needed in a war..that must be torture..I know she wants to enjoy life, meet all her children, run in the woods with no concerns..make love to her mate..” A blush appeared on her cheeks
“And it’s not fair to you or the packs. If I,..we can help, then we should.”
“Have I told you how amazing you are? How did I get so lucky?” I whisper in her ear, kissing her neck. Earning another giggle from her wonderful lips.

“Cathy showed me your moon temple today” she told me.
I haven't been there for so long. After I started my training and after the death of our parents I kind of turned my back on things like that. Running the pack, my company too..there was never time for such things. I know plenty of members still gather and pray and I’m not surprised Cathy ended up being the one to bring Hope there. Cathy as the spirituel person she is has always loved that place..she loved the stories, our so called history and she loves her Goddess.
“How was it?” I asked
“Emotional..I've heard the stories..but to see them, to feel Luna recognize them..recognize Selene..she’s not pleased with her you know…so it was hard and most of all…I don't know how I am going to be able to do this” The sadness in her voice made my heart ache.
“You won't be alone, I will be by your side” I tried to assure her.
“I need to train..and I’m not a rookie, I take a lot of classes,but I need to train for this..there is no such thing as a class for fighting vampires”
“Ok..I'll train you myself” I tell her and kiss her temple. I understand were she is coming from. She has been tossed in to this world and needs to adapt for whats to come..So I will help her..because I will not loose her.
“Really? Oh I would love that Callum! Can we start tomorrow morning? Before I go to the clinic? I haven't trained for a while now and my hole body is itching! We passed a park on our way home, before we came to the temple, near the warriors apartments, we could go there?” she rambled so exited and it made me smile.
“Sure, we could but I’m not sure I want a bunch of unmated warriors watch my girl train...”
“And is the lack of training the only thing that makes your body itch?..”I ask and kiss her temple, feeling the tiny sparks between us on my lips.

I take a sponge and gently wash her, watching the foam make patterns on her soft skin. She closes her eyes and relaxes against me.
