Chapter 79 - Plans and prisoners

**Callums pov**

Cecilias eyes is filled with tears and her hands are shaking violently.
“ So..her father has her? Then it can’t be that bad? He wouldn’t hurt her..he loved her, she was his joy in life.” I don’t know if she’s trying to convince me or herself
“Didn’t he leave you? What father leaves his child? And he bleeds her..” Maya is interfering.
“He may not know..like you said it’s a big organization..I’m sure if he knew she was there he would do everything in his power to get her out of there..I’m sure of it.”
“Cecilia! Wake up!! He is a hunter, she is a werewolf! He kills her kind!”
Maya grew more irritated and Reece put a hand on her shoulder and whispered something to calm her down.
“No! I can’t take it easy! My best friend is taken by the man who abandoned her and he is hurting her! We know where she is and we’re still sitting here! Why are we still sitting here??” She turned to Reece as if he could give her the answers. But I spoke instead.
“Don’t you think I don’t want to storm over there and tear the place down? Beacon rips holes in my head for that very reason. But we would probably run to our deaths if we did. We have to be smart about this, we have to have a plan, organize and we need allies. So far, no other pack has offered their help. I don’t know what will happen with the vampires..Hope wants us to warn them.” I look at Zandra as I spoke the last words. She frowns but nod before standing up and leaving the room. I hate to ask that of her but it is important to Hope.
“So, how do you want to do this?” Reece asks.
“Send twenty scouts to survey the area. They can take the motorbikes but have to get there by foot the last bit, I don’t want them to be discovered. Make sure they have mobile phones with them, they will be too far away to be able to link. Call around to those closest to us, put them against the wall and ask why the hell they didn’t offer their help. Let them know that I see it as a sign of disloyalty. Don’t call David, I want nothing to do with him or Low Falls right now.” Reece nods and leave the room, dragging Maya with him.
“ I would like to go with the scouts, I am familiar with the terrain..And if it is okay with you I like to take Kevin as well ” Jesse says. He has been quiet for a wile, I almost forgot he was there.
“ Yeah, sure..I was planning to send Kevin anyway..Jesse, can I speak with you in private?” I ask him and pointing to the door. We step outside and the afternoon sun brought a little warmth to my cold insides. We walk slowly around the house where there is no one else who can listen to what we say.
“So, what do you want to talk about?” He stands with his hands in his pockets and squints at the sun. I take a breath and scratch my head, sorting the things I want to say out in my mind.
“ A few things actually..but I will start with Cathy..” I see him flinch just by hearing her name.
“ What about her?..”
“ I know you two are mates..I also know you have rejected eachother..I don’t know why though and It is none of my business..but I can see its wrong, I can see you are both hurting. If you being a rogue has anything to do with it, you are welcome to join our pack..but I know you won’t..no Alpha would.” I sigh as I see on his face that I am right.
“ There is another solution..Joe and the group from your old pack..You can build a new one..it is your birthright..they are your pack members. You wouldn’t be rogues anymore.” He stands quietly for a long time before he looks at me.
“Mine and Cathy’s story started a long time ago..when I first came here. I understood she was mine before she even got her wolf..The rejection between us is complicated..does the decision to go rogue have anything to do with it?..Yes, a small part..but like I said, it’s complicated . I will always love your sister Alpha Callum, more than life itself..but the Goddess made a mistake when she paired us..Cathy doesn’t want me.. As for Joe and the others, we have already touched the subject” He gives me a wink and a small smile.
“ Good..that’s great! Let me know if there is anything I can do.” I pat him on the back as we started our way back to the house.
“ Alpha!..Alpha!..” I hear Lucas shouting behind me and we turn around.
Lucas, Leo and three more come running out of the forest. What are they doing here? They have guard duty..I frown, wondering why they left their posts..I soon get an answer to my question when I see a large pack of wolves step out of the forest behind them. There is no doubt about who the black wolf is leading them..nor about the brown one at his side. David and his weak Beta. Beacon is growling in my head at the insult. Jesse is tensing up beside me. I send out a link to the pack, telling them Low Falls is here to challenges us. I hear some answers and they make me chuckle.
“Great, I missed practice this morning..”
“Finally!”
“I’ve been dying to kick some Low Falls butt”
Without turning around I feel my pack gather behind me.
“ Are you up for a fight?” I ask Jesse
“ Sure..Its been a while..” He stops speaking as Cathy comes up and stands between us..I can see he is swallowing hard as she starts to unbutton her dress.
“ Hrm..Cathy..what are you doing?..” He ask in a low voice.
“ I’m about to shift and I really like this dress..so I’m taking it off.”
“ Infront of every male wolf here?” I hear the irritation in his voice and I almost forget about David, this is so much more fun. I know my sister and know how good she is at playing her cards right. I also know that Jesse’s wolf is now howling in his head because his unmarked mate intends to show herself off to other unmated males.
The second her dress falls to the ground, a loud growl rips from Jesse’s throat. He throws her onto his shoulder and carries her off kicking and screaming towards the pack house.
“ Ill be right back!” He shouts at me and I cant help laughing.
“Take your time!” I shout back before again turning my attention to David.
He shifted and stood in front of us in his birthday suit.
“We have come for Tina. Give her to us and we’ll get out of here peacefully. Refuse and we will take her by force” He flexed his muscles in an attempt to look menacing. Beacon growled and wanted to put an end to this at once but I just shook my head.
“Are you kidding me David? You know I have at least twice as many warriors as you..I was going to suggest we take this one on one, but I hesitate to humiliate you in front of your pack.” I hear a few low laughs behind me
“You get one chance to leave. If you don’t then I hope you arranged everything with who will take over your pack after today..seeing you have no heir.”
I looked at him and see his face turn red as he screamed.
“Give her to us!!! Her crime was just to get rid of the slut who took her place!!!”
He doesn’t even have time to take a breath before Beacon pushes through and shifts. I fly towards him and his wolf takes over to try and defend him, but it’s no use, I lock my jaws around his neck and have to struggle with Beacon not to break it. Behind and around me all my warriors have shifted and are holding back David’s pack, no one is attacking, they probably want to protect their Alpha but they also see that they don’t have a chance. I push a little harder and strangle the airways of David’s wolf and when I feel it become heavy and still in my jaws, I let go. I look at the unconscious Alpha at my feet and then shift back.
“ Take this piece of shit to the cells, bring his Beta as well..I’ve had enough of them.” I heard Tina’s father whimper in fear as he was surrounded and forced into submission. When they were gone, I turned to the wolves in David’s pack.
“I don’t know who filled your leaders’ heads with the idea that they would get something out of coming here. But I have a pretty good idea, and I hope you deal with them when you get back. Your beta’s daughter is in our prison for serving my Luna on a silver platter to the hunters. I guess you all heard her warning? If your leaders have done what they should then you all know who she is..if not let me explain it to you. Her wolf is the origin..the firstborn..we all come from her. Now the hunters have her and she needs all the help she can get. She wouldn’t hesitate to help a wolf in need..whether it was her pack..another, or even a rogue..she sees everyone as her family and now she needs it. I am not going to demand anything from you..you have lost your leaders today. But if you want to stand by my side in this coming war..If you want to save our Luna, your Luna, I hope you come when I call”..I looked them all in the eyes..they looked at eachother, a bit confused to what they were supposed to do now. Then one of them..A big grey male stepped forward, tilted his head and gave me a howl of approval. Soon, the rest of them followed, after that they turned around and disappeared back in to the woods.
“ Did I miss it? What happened?” Jesse came jogging against me, his face flustered and his hair a mess..I could also see three scratch-marks healing on his cheek.
“ Nothing..you didn’t miss a thing.” I chuckled and put my arm over his shoulders, pulling him with me as walked back against the pack house.
