Chapter 1296 Different Circumstances
Angel found that the balance on her account was only three digits. Didn't Ornard transfer 2 million to her? Where was the money?
Angel opened her account and found that the debt on her credit card had been cleared.
The Floyd family had never limited her spending in the past and Angel had always used her credit card to shop. She bought a lot of luxury goods and the bank deducted the entire sum from her savings account because the Floyd family didn't give her any money at all.
Angel did not believe that the Floyd family would be so heartless. She checked her credit cards one by one and found that all of them had been terminated.
This was completely out of Angel's expectations. Although the Floyd family had said that they would terminate her cards and cut off their relationship with her, she had always thought that they were just threatening her. She didn't believe that they would be so cruel.
Angel was so angry that she quickly made a call to question the Floyd family.
She couldn't get through Callum's phone, nor did Fandrey and Deborah pick up as well. She had no choice but to call Sammuel and she asked angrily when the call was connected, "Why did my father terminate my cards? Are they trying to kill me?!"
Sammuel's voice was emotionless. "Ms. Floyd, you're no longer part of the Floyd family, so why would we give you money? What does your life have to do with us?"
"You bastard!" Angel cursed angrily.
Sammuel's voice turned colder. "Watch your tone. You're already in your twenties, but you have no manners at all. I'll let you off this time, but don't blame me for being impolite if you talk to me like this again!"
"What did you say? How dare you?" Angel trembled with anger.
"Why wouldn't I? I'm hired to serve the Floyd family and you're no longer part of the family. How can you order me around?"
Angel was so angry that she was gasping for breath and she threw the phone away fiercely. Madelyn quickly reached out and caught the phone. "Miss, what should we do now?"
"They're trying to make me desperate! They want me to give in, but I won't! I will never give in!" Angel roared.
"Then how are you planning to survive?" Madelyn reminded him.
"You don't have to worry about that. Let's go now!" Angel took the lead to go out while she was followed by Madelyn, who looked at her worriedly.
How will Angel live in the future without the financial support of the Floyd family?
Madelyn felt that this was good news after thinking about it carefully. Angel had never suffered before, so she would definitely go back obediently after the Floyd family had cut off her finances. Everything would be back on track as long as Angel admitted defeat and returned to the Floyd family.
Angel didn't care what Madelyn thought and she sent a message to Ornard as she walked out. "I've been discharged, but the money you gave me before is gone. They're forcing me to get an abortion, but I won't do it even if I die. I'm in need of money now, so please give me some!"
How could she spend 2 million dollars so quickly? Wasn't she splurging way too much? Ornard frowned, but he still agreed and transferred 400 thousand dollars to Angel.
Angel was a little angry when she looked at the sum. "That's all? I don't even have a place to live and this isn't enough to buy a house."
"There's no need to buy a house. I've already asked Paisley to rent a house for you and she'll make the arrangement if you call her now."
"Who wants that bitch to help me? I can rent a house myself." Angel was angry when Ornard mentioned Paisley and she directly scolded him.
Ornard was upset. "Paisley is my wife now, so you'd better treat her nicely. The Floyd family doesn't care about you now and I can't help you because I'm abroad as well. You can only rely on Paisley. You're not young anymore, so you can't scold someone so simply even if you don't like them. You should know how to think for yourself and learn how to save some money. You still have a long life ahead of you."
Angel understood what Ornard meant. He was forcing her to accept Paisley's help. As expected, she was nothing without her family status.
Ornard even thought that she had spent a lot of money. Angel was jealous as she thought of Abbie's limited-edition bags that were worth millions and Valeria's extravagant jewellery. Her spending was measly compared to Valeria and Abbie.
Things were different now. She had the support of the Floyd family in the past, but she could only rely on Ornard now because she had been disowned. She had to resign to her fate now because she really couldn't find someone else to help her besides Ornard. Angel swallowed her anger. "I know, I will learn how to save and get along well with Paisley."
"Alright, you can call Paisley now. She'll come and pick you up."
Angel called Paisley reluctantly. She had thought that Paisley would take the initiative to pick her up, but she wasn't taken seriously at all. Paisley simply gave an address and asked Angel to find her own way there.
Angel had never taken a taxi since she was born and she had always sat in luxury cars with bodyguards. However, she had stooped so low that she had to take a taxi now. Angel felt insulted and she asked Madelyn to hail a taxi angrily.
They managed to hail a taxi after waiting at the hospital gate for more than ten minutes. Then, Angel furiously got in the taxi with Madelyn.
The taxi was stuck in a jam as they drove past the downtown street and they didn't move for half an hour. Angel got angry and began to curse again.
Madelyn became her punching bag, so she swallowed her anger and let Angel scold her. The taxi driver finally couldn't stand it anymore and tried to persuade her.
Only then did Angel swallow her words and look out of the window, but she started to get upset again.
The taxi was stopped opposite the Wolf Group Hotel and Angel saw a limousine parked at the main entrance of Wolf Group. The security guards went forward and opened the door while Valeria got out of the car with the help of a staff.
Angel was really upset when she saw so many staff surrounding Valeria, but she was only accompanied by Madelyn in the taxi.
Angel wouldn't feel so bad if she didn't compare herself to Valeria, but she was deeply hurt by this. She looked at Valeria with hatred, who was helped into the Wolf Group Hotel by the staff. Her eyes were full of resentment and she wanted nothing more than to rip Valeria apart.
Angel was still staring at the entrance of the Wolf Group Hotel angrily even after Valeria had entered.
At this time, a pink Lamborghini stopped at the entrance of the hotel. A beautiful woman in a white short skirt got out of the car with a limited-edition diamond bag on her arm. The countless diamonds on her bag were shining brightly under the sun.
Angel did not recognize who it was at first until the woman took off her sunglasses and she exclaimed, "It's her?"
