On the other hand, Azalea leaned against the head of the bed in the hospital and stared blankly at her phone.
She always thought that she would live a good life once Francis had admitted that she was his illegitimate daughter.
After all, the Gurney family was so wealthy, so they would treat her well. She would probably be surrounded by bodyguards and servants like the other ladies from wealthy families.

Azalea couldn't move around herself because of her legs. Hence, she couldn't move around freely as no one was taking care of her. Thus, she immediately called Francis a few times, but the latter never picked up any of her calls.

Right now, she had to make Francis believe that she had been forced. Hence, Azalea decided to change her strategy. She chose not to call Francis but text him instead.

When Azalea saw Frederick coming in, she immediately took the initiative to greet him and asked him to sit. However, Frederick only reacted coldly before saying, "Mr. Gurney requested me to come here to ask you to record a video."
"What kind of video?" Azalea hurriedly asked.
"An apology video," replied Frederick briefly.
"Huh? An apology video? Who do I need to apologise to?" Azalea asked with a surprised expression on her face.
"You should apologise to Ms. Taylor."
"Huh... I have to apologize to her after she beat me up? What kind of logic is this?" Azalea was so angry that she raised her voice.
However, Frederick looked at her coldly and said, "Miss Clark, you can win over a lot of things by reasoning with other people in this word. However, this is a special situation, so you can't reason with anyone. Also, you should know what happened this time, right? You've caused such a big fuss, so shouldn't you take responsibility for it instead?"
After hearing this, Azalea felt extremely wronged. "However, she did beat me up! This is a fact! I didn't even ask her to apologise to me, so why should I apologise to her instead."
"Well, this is all because they won, and Mr. Gurney lost! When you recorded the video of you and him admitting your relationship before handing it over to them, you should've known that this would be the consequences."

However, Frederick frowned and replied, "Miss Clark, you're pregnant with a child of the Davis family. Why don't you do this instead? You can call the Davis family and ask them to arrange for someone to take care of you. Once Mr. Gurney's condition is better, I'll tell him about your situation."
"Bah! Is he so ill that he can't deal with these small issues?" Azalea asked sarcastically.
"If you have any questions, you can ask Mr. Gurney about them when he meets you after he feels better. Also, you need to release this video on your own social media to show your sincerity."
After saying that, Frederick didn't give Azalea another chance to speak before leaving. Meanwhile, Azalea's face was ashen as she started swearing. She had been excited for a few days, but why did nothing happen?

Once she saw this, Azalea didn't dare to stay on her account. She quickly sent it out and was about to log out. When she was about to leave, she suddenly saw that Abbie, who was on her following list, was online.
Azalea thought that she was seeing things, so she focused on her screen. However, she was right, Abbie was indeed online!
What on earth was happening? Abbie was already dead, so why would she be online?
Her phone notification rang as she thought about it. It appeared that someone from her following list had messaged her. Hence, Azalea immediately clicked in to look at the message, and her face instantly turned pale.
