Chapter 788 Who Else Could It Be Apart From Her?
Raelyn could not believe her eyes and reached out to rub them. She had finally ascertained that Natasya was indeed in the footage.
She was reluctant to accept the fact and denied, "What on earth is this? How is it possible? This is definitely not Natasya!"
"Who else could it be if it's not her?" Talitha sneered and continued, "Mummy, have you forgotten how Natasya had looked like?"
Raelyn was still in her sound mind but this was such a ridiculous thing for her!
Natasya was such a cultured but arrogant woman. How could she be caught on camera for doing such an indecent act?
"Talitha, could this be a fake video? Someone might have made up such a thing to ruin her reputation, right?"
Talitha scoffed and said, "Mummy, I had the same reaction with you too and observed the video countless times. I then finally came up with the conclusion that this is a genuine video of her. Natasya had a mole on her back and it is at the exact place as the woman in the video."
"What... what on earth is going on?" Raelyn murmured to herself.
"I have no idea, and that is why I came to tell you about it. Mummy, could there be a possibility that Natasya indeed loves to... sleep around?"
"That is absolutely impossible! How would I not know about her personality well?" Raelyn shook her head and denied.
"Okay, care to explain this video perhaps?" Talitha was feeling annoyed and continued, "Mummy, I shall also notify you that Natasya is not being herself nowadays. Besides, there are a few red marks on her neck. Why don't you ask her about it?"
"Erm... don't you think that it is rather inappropriate?"
"Why would you say so when you are also curious to know about it? It would be good news if Natasya finally has a boyfriend. However, you have to think further if that is not the case." Talitha sneered and continued, "It would be an utterly embarrassing thing If Natasya is really fond of sleeping around with others. Raelyn was feeling reluctant but eventually knocked on Natasya's door. Natasya opened the door impatiently and asked, "It's getting late. What's the matter?"
"I would like to have a chat with you." Raelyn entered and closed the door before asking, "Natasya, are you in a relationship now?"
"Why would you ask about this?" Natasya questioned back. She wondered whether Raelyn had known about the things that happened between her and Hardy. How did Raelyn manage to know about it so soon?
"Do tell me about it if you really have a boyfriend now. This is great news and I would love to give you a few excellent pointers."
"I have nothing much to say."
Natasya's reply had subtly admitted her to be in a relationship. Raelyn was extremely surprised and asked, "Natasya, tell me more about it. Who is it that you are currently seeing? What does he do for a living? How old is he?"
Natasya did not want to reveal anything and had instead given a general reply, "You'll know about it sooner or later!"
Raelyn was anxious and said, "I don't want to wait any much longer! Do spill the beans now as I would also like to share your happiness!"
Hmm? Raelyn would definitely be shocked instead of delighted about it. Natasya replied with a blank face, "Mom, I'm not in the mood to talk about this as I'm feeling tired. You would eventually get to know it in the future."
"How about you tell me since when you were in a relationship then?" Raelyn probed.
"Just a few days ago. We have also done everything as a couple."
Raelyn was utterly shocked and said, "Why would you keep his identity a secret then? It's nice to share your happiness with me too, don't you think?"
"I've got nothing much to say and you will know more about it in the future. Mummy, let's end the conversation here. I'm sleepy and would like to take a nap soon."
Natasya persisted to keep her lips sealed and Raelyn had no choice but eventually leave her alone. Talitha was currently waiting in her room and asked upon seeing the sight of Raelyn, "Have you gotten ahold of something? Did she say anything about her relationship?"
"She has admitted to being in a relationship! However, she is still very secretive about the man that she is seeing!" Raelyn sighed with a helpless look on her face.
"Could it be possibly that the man is relatively old? Or he might be very ugly or ill-looking?" Talitha guessed.
"How is that possible? Are you sure that Natasya would be interested in such a man?"
"No one in their right mind would want to be with a scandalous woman like her, don't you think? Who would intend to date her apart from those unattractive or poor men?"
Raelyn was furious upon hearing Talitha being too straightforward. "You should rest for a bit as It's getting late. Stop meddling into your sister's personal matter!"
Talitha left and called Devon immediately. "Honey, I have bad news for you. Natasya is seeing someone right now!"
"Hmm? When did this happen? Who is the man?" Devon was also extremely shocked upon hearing about it.
"I have no idea as well since she was very persistent in keeping it a secret. However, she had done everything as a couple with him!" Raelyn then told him about the footage that was received by Talitha. "Honey, I'm a little worried. Didn't Natasya use to adore William very much? Why would she have a boyfriend in such a short period of time? Why would she be caught on camera doing such an indecent act when she is really in a healthy relationship? What the hell is she up to?"
"This is indeed very bizarre and it's best if you could pay more attention to her. Could it be that she might have given up on herself after being caught in a scandal last time? It would be troublesome if that is the case."
Devon was very concerned about Natasya as she was his daughter after all.
"Okay, I'll keep a close eye on her. I'll let you know if anything happens!"
Raelyn and Devon chatted for a while before hanging up the phone call. However, she still felt slightly uncomfortable after sharing her worries with Devon.
She kept recalling Natasya's video and thought that this was not a legit relationship at all. The footage looked more like her daughter sleeping around with someone.
Raelyn prayed that her speculation was incorrect to prove that Natasya was not that kind of a person.
It was the next morning at the Anthony family.
Hardy and Paisley were having breakfast at the dining table. Talitha gave him a call and said, "Hardy, I have a scheduled check-up today. Would you like to accompany me?"
"Of course!" Hardy replied in a gentle tone.
"Okay. Do pick me up after having your breakfast and I will be waiting for you here."
Paisley glanced at Hardy after the phone call had ended and asked, "Hardy, are you really intending to accompany Talitha for her checkup session?"
"Yes, but I would also want to pay Natasya a visit. I doubt that she has not come up with something yet when she clearly told me about her intention of marrying me yesterday. I shall head over to spice things up."
"Hardy, how are your current feelings towards them? Is it still very complex?"
"Yes, I can't control myself whenever they are within my vision. However, I would behave normally without their presence," Hardy rubbed his forehead and continued, "I'm not sure whether this condition would remain or worsen over time. Things would be much easier for me if it is the formal option. If my train of thoughts would not be interrupted due to their absence, I will then be able to come up with a way to get rid of those two bitches."
"You're right, let's pray that this vermin would not take you away. I am also hoping that we can get ahold of the antidote as soon as possible," Paisley sighed as she had lost her appetite to enjoy her breakfast, She then took her phone out and dialed the number to enquire about the updates of the antidote.
Hardy went upstairs for a few minutes to change into a decent outfit. He then went downstairs and left home to pick up Talitha who was waiting for him at the hotel.
