Chapter 437 Dealing With Savannah
Valeria felt disgusted with Savannah's confidence. Savannah was acting so righteously as if she assumed that no one knew about her evil deeds in the past.
How did she dare come meet her and told her to choose like this? Valeria sneered and said, "That's just your wishful thinking, isn't it? Who told you that there wasn't a third option?"
Savannah's face stiffened for a moment at Valeria's unexpected reaction as she didn't show any sign of fear or guilt at all. It was as if she did not take her seriously, so Savannah was extremely annoyed by her arrogance.
The elegance and grace on her face gradually disappeared as she smiled coldly and said, "What's your third option?"
"I thought you were a smart person, Miss Savannah. How could you not know? You're the third option! Wouldn't everything be solved easily if you had just left the Saunders family?"
"What?" She stared at her, fuming.
Valeria laughed and continued, "I will return to the Saunders family no matter what, and I won't let go of William either. You, on the other hand, are destined to be driven out of the Saunders family. I'm going to treat you the way you treated my mom back then! I want you to lose everything and leave the Saunders family like a total loser. Do you understand?"
After hearing that, Savannah had a frightening expression on her face. She had underestimated Valeria and thought that she was just a harmless pushover, but she was far from what she had expected.
Savannah couldn't control herself any longer and said, "You..."
Before she could finish her sentence, everything became a blur, and she felt liquid dripping from her head to her face when she came to her senses. Valeria had grabbed a cup of coffee and splashed it on her just as she was about to argue with her.
Savannah was drenched in coffee in an instant. Her makeup, clothes, and all her expensive belongings were ruined. Most importantly, she couldn't even open her eyes!
The liquid entered her eyes and blurred her vision, which made her feel terrible as whatever elegance and dignity she had were washed away with the coffee just like that. She cursed loudly while blindly feeling the table for a tissue to wipe her eyes.
The initially tidy table was now messy as she rummaged through it, and the plates and cups fell to the ground causing a crisp sound as they shattered into pieces. After hearing the commotion in the private room, the door was pushed open.
Gavin appeared at the door with his black cat, Oreo, and his bodyguards. He thought that Valeria had been bullied by Savannah, so he came in and had prepared to defend her.
When he opened the door and saw the scene inside, he was stunned for a moment, and a smile flashed across his face.
He asked, "What's going on?"
Savannah was startled when she heard his voice. Why was Gavin here?
She had no time to rummage for a tissue, so she just used her sleeve to wipe her eyes. Her eyes felt extremely uncomfortable, but she could finally open them.
After finishing his sentence, Gavin walked to Valeria's side and asked, "Valeria, are you okay? Let me see if you're hurt!"
"Grandpa!" Valeria knew that this was her opportunity to provoke Savannah. She immediately said in a pitiful voice, "This woman scolded and bullied me!"
"Dad, I didn't!" Savannah hadn't expected to be accused like this, so she immediately defended herself.
However, Gavin didn't buy it. "You didn't? Then tell me why you came to see Valeria? Who let you meet her? What are you up to?"
"I... I just didn't want to see my father..." Savannah's explanation was interrupted by Valeria.
"Grandpa, this woman is so scary. She came in and threatened me to not step into the Saunders family. She said that if I had dared to, she would kill me! I am so scared!"
Gavin's face fell when he heard this. "Savannah Howard! What on earth are you doing? This is my granddaughter! Archer's flesh and blood! What right do you have to stop her from entering the Saunders family?"
"I... "
"I didn't intend to publicize the fact that Valeria is Archer's biological daughter. However, since you were up to no good, I won't hide it anymore. I'm officially announcing now that Valeria will return to the Saunders family. Not only will she be a part of my family, but she will also be one of the main inheritors, and she would have a fair share of all the property of the Saunders family too!"
After saying that, he reached out to take Valeria by the hand. "Come, my dear, let's go! Don't pay attention to that crazy woman. You don't have to worry as long as I am here, I will not let anyone bully you!"
Savannah had no other choice but to watch them leave miserably. Not only did she embarrass herself today, but she also made the situation go against her instead!
This was all because of Valeria. She shouldn't have underestimated her!
As Valeria was taken out of the private room to the parking lot with Gavin, she was a little unhappy. "Why did you come at this time? Didn't you know that I was in the middle of dealing with her?"
"I'm worried about you! That wicked woman is so shameless and cunning. What if you got hurt?" He smiled apologetically.
"She is just pretending to be tough. She only got things her way if people had let her. I didn't let her do what she wanted, so I was fine!"
"You can't say that. She's not as simple as you think, and there are many other things involved in this matter. We can't solve it in a day. Today was for you to vent your anger. Leave the rest to me and your father to deal with."
"I don't believe you. If you could handle it, why was it delayed for so many years?" She snorted. She did not believe that Archer would deal with Savannah. If he had wanted to, he would have done so long ago. There was no other explanation to why he did not do anything to that disgusting woman other than because he was at his wit's end.
Anyway, she didn't believe anyone except her husband. Gavin and Archer couldn't hide the truth from her.
Gavin felt awkward after she talked back to him like that. If it were someone else who had spoken to him like that, he would have turned hostile immediately. However, the person in front of him was his granddaughter, so he could only comfort her.
"My dear, we can't rush this matter. We have to deal with it slowly. A shameless woman like her is skilled... In order to deal with her, we have to catch her at the right time! Today's situation was just the beginning. Your father will deal with her from now on."
Hah! He was being overly cautious with this matter. Wasn't he just worried about Hayden? Valeria said resentfully, "You guys can take your time, then. I'll be leaving now!"
"Have dinner together with me! Your dad is here too," He begged her.
"I don't want to!" She didn't want to have dinner with Archer, so she refused without hesitation.
"Listen to me... Don't you want to deal with Savannah? Don't you want to avenge your mother?"
"Of course I do. But how am I going to deal with her by eating with you? Do you think I'm a small kid?"
"Of course you can. Think about how she's feeling now. In order to marry your dad, she schemed against your dad and mom so shamelessly. She probably thinks that she is invincible after all these years and that her position in the Saunders family will not falter. So, she probably would be super angry to hear that you're returning to the family so openly. Won't she be livid if she finds out that you had a meal with me and your father? Aren't you going to be happy to know that she's furious?"
"You seem to make a bit of sense. Alright, then. Let's go!" She nodded and gave in.
