Chapter 1473 No Wonder You're So Handsome

Marcus felt that he couldn't let this matter slide. This person had the nerve to pretend to be William's sister. The former had to have done a lot of bad things. Therefore, Marcus called the police in the interrogation room directly and said, "Get the person who pretended to be Mr. Howard's sister on the phone."
Anna was not scared at all. She thought William was on the line. "Hi, William! I'm Anna. Do you remember me?"
Marcus was stunned momentarily when he heard her name. He asked, "Anna Taylor?"
"I'm Richard's sister, Anna, remember? I'm Anna from the Taylor family. You've met me before. I'm in trouble now. Can you help me out? Don't tell my brother, please. I'm forever in your debt, okay?"
Marcus couldn't help but laugh upon hearing her words. "Miss Taylor, I'm not Mr. Howard. I'm his assistant."
"Oh, so you're his assistant, aren't you? Can you tell him that I need his help urgently? I'm a loyal person. As long as you help me this once, you ask me anything in the future. I'll gladly offer my service as long as I can help."
Marcus laughed out loud when he heard her generous offer. "Miss Taylor, you're quite straightforward! Okay then, I'll tell Mr. Howard about this. Please wait for a moment."
"Don't stand me up, okay? Let me tell you, I'm a vindictive person. If you dare to bail on me, I will definitely take revenge on you when I get out from here."
How dare she threaten him when she needed a favor from him? Anna was really a fearless woman.
Marcus was both furious and amused. He hung up the phone and called William. "Mr. Howard, Anna just called us for a favor."
"Anna? Are you talking about the daughter of Richard's aunt, Anna?"
"Yes, that's her."
"What's going on?"
"She was arrested by the police. She is now in the police station. She didn't dare to ask Richard to save her. Instead, she said that she was your sister and hope that you could help her. She is a funny person. She asked for help but also threatened me in the process. I'm amused." Marcus repeated Anna's words again.
"What a girl." William couldn't suppress his smile. "Okay, I'll go and help her out. I'll go personally!"
William grabbed his coat and put it on. He said to Valeria, "Honey, something came up that requires my attention. You should go to bed first."
"Why are you heading out so late at night?" Valeria mumbled.
"It's only a small matter. I'll tell you about it in detail next time." William caressed her head. Upon hearing that it was about Richard, Valeria didn't ask any further questions and nodded obediently.
William left swiftly with a smile. Bobby, who was resting with his eyes closed on the couch in the next room, heard him come out. He opened the door immediately and came out. "Mr. Howard, let's go."
William nodded and Bobby followed him with broad footsteps. When they got into the car, he ordered Bobby, "We'll go to the police station."
"What's going on?" Bobby asked in surprise.
"Nothing serious. It's just that the daughter of Richard's aunt is arrested. I'm doing her a favor."
Bobby let out a surprised yelp. "Huh? Why did she look for your help? You're not familiar with her, are you? Why didn't Mr. Richard help her out?"
"This girl is the daughter of the Taylor family. She is as bold as Abbie. She dares to do anything. Perhaps she runs in trouble and is afraid that Richard will scold her for it," William replied with a smile, "I guess she has caused a lot of trouble this time. Let's go and see what's going on."
After Anna called Marcus, the attitude of the police towards her had completely changed.
Instead of continuing with the inquiry, Anna was invited to the lounge from the interrogation room. Someone brought her some water. Meanwhile, she sat on the sofa and looked at her phone as she waited for William.
Half an hour later, there were footsteps from the corridor, followed by the staff's voice. "William, this way please!"
Upon hearing the noise, Anna immediately kept her phone and looked at the entrance. The door was opened from the outside. The staff pushed the door open and stood beside it. William strode in confidently, showcasing his long legs.
When Anna saw William, she sprang up from the sofa. "William!"
William's gaze fell on her. Her clothes were soiled and she looked quite haggard. He motioned for the staff to leave as he asked, "What's going on?"
"I... Anyway, you will know about it soon, so I won't hide it from you. I used pepper spray on Michael in the bar tonight. The nosy jerk with him stopped me. But I attacked him with an electric baton. He called the security guards to stop me, and then I was sent here."
William furrowed his brows. Michael knew Anna personally. Logically speaking, he would not send her to the police station. After all, he would not hold her to account for Abbie's sake, not unless she lied and hurt him badly.
William asked Anna, "Was he hurt badly?"
"No, I poured paint on his head and sprayed pepper spray at his eyes. That's all."
"I don't buy it. I can only help you if you tell me the truth." William emphasized, "I don't believe that Michael will send you here if you didn't hurt him badly."
"I swear I didn't hurt him badly. Before I could use the baton, I was stopped by that damn jerk next to me. Damn that bastard, don't let me run into him again!"
"What about Michael?"
"He was sent to the hospital by that bastard. He said that they were going to examine his eyes. I hope his eyes turn blind! In this way, I can finally avenge Abbie!"
After hearing Anna's words, William finally understood the situation. "Michael didn't recognize you, did he?"
Anna thought for a moment and said, "He probably didn't recognize me. I used the pepper spray on him before he could see me properly."
"Do you know who is the man beside Michael?"
"His surname is Saunders! He is pretty good-looking. Too bad he has a sharp tongue and deserves to get his teeth kicked in. I'll beat him up the next time I see him!"
"Someone with the surname Saunders?" William frowned in response. Could it be Raymond?
He took out his mobile phone to find Raymond's photo before he handed it to Anna. "Is he the one who was with Michael?"
"Yes, that's the jerk! I didn't get along with him and we had a quarrel last time. This time, he was on Michael's side!" Anna was enraged. Since William had a photo of this man on his phone, he had to know the latter. "William, who is this jerk?"
"Hah, he is just a pervert!" William answered lightly.
"He is really a scum. I'll find a way to teach him a lesson when I get out."
"Take your time to teach him a lesson. For now, I'll get you out of here."
"So, can we leave now?" Anna asked in disbelief.
"Yes, we can leave now." William nodded in response and turned around to look at Bobby. "Tell them to find a way to give a satisfactory answer to Michael and the others."
"Okay, I'll go and talk to them right away. It might be problematic to speak to Michael. Perhaps it's better if you do it yourself."
"Hmm, I'll talk to him later. You just need to liase with the police."
Anna was finally able to relax when William led her out of the police station.
As she walked, she buttered William up. "William, you're such a nice person! No wonder you're so handsome. God must know that you're a kind-hearted person, so he made you a handsome guy."
