Chapter 868 Utterly Vicious

Hardy put away his phone and knocked on the bathroom door a few times before saying, "Natasya, I have to head back right now as something urgent has occurred in the company. Don't worry as I will not forget to accompany you in the evening!"
Natasya opened the door and came out before replying, "Okay, you shall get busy. Do come back early today as I would be waiting for you."
She accompanied Hardy to the elevator and sent him off. She then turned around with a sneer on her face.
She was initially slightly worried that Hardy would ruin her plan. She could finally get down to business since he was no longer here.
Talitha, hell would be waiting for you!
Natasya went into the kitchen and obtained a bottle of cooking oil. She applied them generously on the floor at the apartment's entryway. She then sat on the sofa and waited for Talitha's arrival.
William, who was taking the wheel, returned home with Valeria after meeting with Callum. Hayden came out of the house upon hearing the car engine.
Valeria politely greeted Hayden after getting off the car. He grinned and said, "Valeria, you're finally back. I was just about to call and enquire what time that you would be back home. I am pleased to tell you that I have instructed the servant to make your favorite dessert."
"Dad, thank you so much!" Valeria chuckled with an excited look on her face.
"Don't mention it. Come on in and let's have a taste of it!" Valeria followed Hayden into the living room. William, who was behind them, shook his head and said, "Am I being ignored? No one talked to me when I returned home and I don't even have the chance to taste the dessert."
"Are you jealous of your wife? Look at you being a petty man!" Hayden rolled his eyes at him.
Valeria grabbed William's hand and said, "Honey, don't worry as I will not have it alone. We shall share the dessert with each other later."
The three of them made their way to the living room and the servant then brought the dessert to them. Valeria reached out and took a bite of it. She said, "Mmm! Honey, have a try!"
She then passed the dessert that she had just taken a bite to William's mouth. He had a taste and said, "You're right as this dessert does taste good. The servant's culinary skill is increasingly better as the day goes by!"
Valeria was busy enjoying her portion of dessert. Hayden then decided to talk about a serious matter with her, "Valeria, I have something to tell you about. Your grandfather had instructed Arthur to deliver some supplements to you just now. However, I have given him an earful and reject the presents."
"Dad, there is no need to tell my wife about such an unimportant matter," William was not bothered by it at all.
"You do have a point, but the Saunders family is nevertheless related to Valeria. I don't intend to receive any blames just in case something bad happens in the future." Hayden cursed Arthur but thought about it once again after he had calmed himself down. He was worried that Valeria would be upset upon hearing about it. After all, nothing would change the fact that Gavin was Valeria's grandfather.
"Dad, don't worry as I am not a single bit upset about it. I am not interested in those petty things at all!" Valeria was not a naive person and clearly knew that who had genuinely treated her well. She knew that Gavin had no bad intention towards her. However, she changed her mind after being involved in that incident not long ago.
It was evident that Gavin was biased towards Raelyn. She would always be his most adored daughter despite the shameless things that she had done.
He would continue to shield Raelyn from her mistakes. William was absolutely right that it would be best for Valeria to distance herself from such a blindsided grandfather.
Valeria had a loving husband and was surrounded by heartwarming people such as her parents, her father-in-law, and a couple of true friends. There was no need for her to talk back with Hayden merely for a biased person like Gavin.
Hayden felt relieved upon hearing about Valeria's words. He then enquired William about Braelynn's matter.
"Have you caught the person who attacked Braelynn during the afternoon?"
"Nope," William shook his head.
"Have you found any suspects yet?"
"Yes, I reckon that the Floyd family is behind this mess! I tested the waters with Callum and neither he nor my grandfather is found to be guilty. Hence, Angel is currently the prime suspect."
"What? Why is it her again?" Hayden's eyes were filled with disgust and continued, "She treated Valeria so poorly last time and she is now targeting Braelynn. I have to teach her a lesson to make her humble down."
"I have the same thought too." William's phone suddenly rang and it was from Marcus, "Mr. Howard, Hardy went to the hospital and brought Natasya to his apartment. It didn't take long for Talitha to leave the hospital as well. I reckon that Hardy intends to make a move on Talitha."
"What a wonderful piece of news!" William sneered and continued, "Do get ready to snap a few juicy pictures of her then! Declan hasn't made up his mind yet, has he? I'm sure that he would eventually come up with a decision upon seeing Talitha lying on a pool of blood!"
"Mr. Howard, Hardy is currently waiting at the parking area with his assistant. I don't think he merely wants to get rid of Talitha's child. What do you think?"
"He must be intending to kill Talitha off. After all, he needs to obtain her fresh blood in order for him to make the antidote. We can't let Hardy have his way! Arrange for a few men to act as the apartment's security guards. They need to be quick on their feet and rescue Talitha at the perfect timing. She is a vicious person but now is not her time to die yet. We need to keep her alive as bargaining power to seek the truth from Declan!"
It was in the car that was situated on the ground floor of the apartment. Hardy was seated at the back row and was resting with his eyes closed. Bevan was staring at his phone which showcased the surveillance video of the apartment. Bevan watched and reported, "Natasya had poured oil generously at the entryway. There would be an interesting show for us to enjoy later."
Hardy remained silent and continued to rest up. A car engine sound was being heard after a while. Bevan glanced over and had a pleased look on his face. He turned to Hardy and said, "Mr. Anthony, she's finally here!"
Hardy looked over and saw Talitha get down from a taxi. It seemed that she had prepared something beforehand upon seeing a club on her hand.
Hardy sneered upon seeing Talitha hurriedly make her way to the entrance of the apartment. "The show is about to make a glamorous start!"
"You're right, it would be a rather interesting drama to watch!" Bevan nodded with agreement.
Talitha rushed out of the elevator with a weapon in her hand and headed straight to Hardy's apartment. She pressed the doorbell for a while before barging into the house.
Talitha waved her club and got ready to strike upon seeing Natasya. "You b*tch! I'll beat you to death today!"
The corners of Natasya's mouth curled into a sinister smile upon seeing Talitha rushing in such an aggressive manner. She quickly took a few steps back while Talitha was not aware that there was oil on the floor. Talitha hurled forward but was unsuccessful in her attempt to strike her sister. She slipped and eventually fell to the ground.
The fall caused a loud noise and she screamed in pain. She lost grip of the club and it was being thrown aside.
Natasya initially wanted to kick Talitha's stomach but she changed her mind at the last minute. She immediately picked up the club and struck it on Talitha's stomach without hesitation.
Talitha screamed at the top of her lungs and there were liquids flowing out from her bottom area. Her pants soon turned bloody red.
Natasya did not back down despite seeing the pile of blood on Talitha's pants. She continued to strike Talitha's stomach with her greatest might. Talitha shielded her injured area and rolled on the ground with a pain that was out of this world.
Her scream was so loud that William's men had heard it clearly. They immediately rushed over to rescue her.
