Chapter 556 Valeria's In Trouble
Valeria got goosebumps when she heard Natasya's cries. It disgusted her, so she hung up the phone and strode out with a frown.
As she walked, she called William. Now, the first person she turned to was William. However, his phone was turned off and she remembered that his cell phone was confiscated by Hayden.
She had to call his temporary number. His temporary phone was handed over to Lucas, but he was afraid that Hayden might suspect something. He turned it off so she couldn't get through. She had no choice but to call Marcus now.
However, she couldn't get through to him either. What the hell! She called Bobby again, but his phone was also off.
She felt that something was wrong. Why wasn't anyone answering the phone?
Was there any conspiracy in this? Natasya was not a good person, so was this a trap?
As she thought about it, Natalie called her and said, "Valeria, Natasya called me just now and said that Raymond fell from the mountain. Your father might be in a meeting, so I can't get through the phone. I'll rush over right away. You call William and ask him to arrange a few people to go over to see what's going on."
"His father has confiscated his phone, so I can't get through to him, and I have to ask Marcus for help. But I can't get through to him either."
"What should we do? Well, I'll go and check out the situation first. You go to the company to find your dad and ask him to come right away." Natalie was very anxious.
"Mom, I'm far away from Dad's company. You go find dad instead. I'll go check out the situation first. By the way, I'll ask Braelynn to find Marcus."
Originally, Valeria suspected that this was a trap. Now that Natasya had called Natalie, Raymond's situation was probably real, so it was unlikely that it was a trap.
After hanging up the phone, Valeria told Braelynn and hurried to the parking lot.
In the hospital ward, Hardy was holding his mobile and making a phone call with a cold smile.
"Raymond has already rolled down the mountain? Well done. Inform the other team to stop Valeria at the foot of the mountain. Remember, don't hurt her. Be gentle! After they stop her, take her phone to go outside the city and lure William there."
His voice was full of murderous intent. "Remember that William is the main focus. After you lure him over, do it at any cost!"
Valeria drove all the way to the destination provided by Natasya in a hurry. On the way, Marcus called her and she hastily explained everything.
His voice was a little serious. "I'll go and tell William right away. However, for the sake of safety, it's best if you don't go over. Wait for me by the road. I'll arrange for some men to come over right now."
She slowed down the car. "My mom went to find my dad. I don't think Natasya's tricks are likely to be this great. After all, if she informed my mom, my dad and grandpa will soon know. She can't be so stupid."
"That's the point. It's better to be careful. You can't do anything there anyway. Why don't you wait at the foot of the mountain? I'll arrange for someone to come over immediately. I'll personally go over and tell William about this."
Valeria felt that he was right and called Natasya to ask about the situation. She cried and said, "The police have arrived and are searching at the foot of the mountain. When are uncle and the rest arriving?"
Hearing her voice, Valeria felt disgusted and held back her anger. "I've already informed them. They'll be here soon!"
After hanging up, she speeded up. Soon, she arrived at the foot of the mountain. She stopped the car and did not dare to go any further. Instead, she waited there.
Seeing her stop the car, a few men who had been waiting nearby for her to fall into the trap glanced at each other. They then got off and quickly surrounded her.
Valeria stopped the car and picked up her phone because Natasya called her. "Valeria, Raymond has been found. He's fallen unconscious and might have broken some bones. The search-and-rescue police are trying to bring him down."
"Is there anything wrong with him?" Valeria sighed in relief after hearing that Raymond was found.
"He's in a coma, and I don't know the specific situation. God protect him and so far nothing will happen to him."
Valeria had no time to listen to her nonsense. She had to call Natalie and tell her about the situation. She hung up the phone and was ready to call Natalie when the car door was opened and a hand reached out to cover her mouth.
"What... are you... do..." Before she could finish her sentence, her vision went dark and she lost consciousness.
Several men quickly carried her into a car on the side. Two of them got in her car and sped away with her mobile phone.
After receiving Valeria's call, Marcus immediately arranged for people to rush over to see what was going on, while he drove to the hospital immediately.
On the hospital bed, Hayden breathed steadily as he was asleep. William was sitting on the sofa with his eyes closed, pretending to be asleep. He was thinking about how to deal with Hardy.
Just as he had a draft, the door was pushed open. He opened his eyes and was surprised to see Marcus. He immediately sat up and followed him out of the ward.
"What's going on?"
"William, Valeria called just now and said that something unexpected happened after Raymond and Natasya climbed up the mountain. Raymond rolled down the hill, and she was worried for him so she rushed over. I arranged for some men to follow her to investigate. However, I felt uneasy, so I came over to let you know."
William's face darkened and said, "Why would Raymond fall from the hill out of no where? Why did he go mountain climbing with Natasya? There must be something wrong with this. Why didn't you stop her?"
"I tried to, but she was already on her way, so I asked her to wait at the foot of the mountain."
"Call her immediately and ask her to return."
William's expression was very serious, so Marcus immediately dialed her number. When the call was connected, Valeria's voice could be heard on the receiver, "What... are you... do..."
The call was disconnected after that, but William heard it clearly, "Valeria's in trouble!"
"What should we do now?"
Cold sweat broke out on Marcus' forehead. William rushed into the corridor without saying a word. Marcus caught up with him and the two quickly ran down the stairs.
William instructed him as he ran, "Call Bobby. Get someone to track Valeria's cell phone location immediately."
Marcus immediately called Bobby, but he could not get through. "William, Bobby is not picking up"
"Someone messed with his cell phone." William's voice became graver. "Immediately order the other bodyguards to search along the way."
"Who on earth is so bold?"
"Hardy!" As he spoke, he already rushed to the parking lot. Lucas had just parked the car when he saw William rushing out in a hurry. He paused for a moment and asked, "William, what are you doing?"
"Give me my phone, quick!" He snatched the briefcase from Lucas's hand. Then he took out his spare phone and quickly called Richard. "Valeria is in trouble. Go and arrange for someone to go over immediately."
