Chapter 16
Andre's POV
"Susan, is Emily home already? I didn't get a reply to my message to her, and her phone number is not working."
Susan's phone number was given to me by Kevin. Four hours have passed since Emily left school and I have been unable to reach her. I sent her a message and got no reply. I called her, but no one got through and finally even turned off her phone.
I was worried. It's a very dangerous thing for a pretty girl to lose contact at night.
"I'm sorry, Andre. Emily didn't come home. I've been at home today, but I haven't seen her. Maybe you could go to the hospital, she might be at Hellen's."
I didn't have Hellen's phone number and I couldn't go to the hospital alone to look for Emily. if Emily wasn't at the hospital, it would be very bad for Hellen's recovery to know that she had been out of touch for four hours.
I called my secretary and asked her to arrange for someone to go to Hellen's hospital room to check. Twenty minutes later, she told me that Emily was not in Hellen's hospital room.
I didn't know where Emily would go, she didn't have a part-time job and she didn't go to parties very often. the most commonplace Emily went now was Hellen's ward, but she wasn't there now.
It was late and I still hadn't heard from Emily, so I walked around the room anxiously. Suddenly my phone rang, and it was the person I had commissioned to find Emily who called me.
"Mr. Vincent, Miss Jones went straight to the Kaka Club after coming out of school. She's been staying there this whole time."
"I see." I put the phone down and went to my car.
I waited for five hours and finally heard from Emily. I got to the bar as fast as I could and then saw Emily sitting in her seat drinking amid the crazy dancing crowd.
Wait! Who is that man?
Emily was sitting next to a young man with very handsome features. They were talking and Emily looked very happy.
I've been looking for her for so long and she's drinking and chatting with a handsome man in a club?
Anger burned in my chest and I quickly stepped forward and hugged Emily before the man could reach out and hold her.
How many drinks had she had?
I looked at the bottles of wine around Emily. She didn't like to drink, but her table was full of empty bottles, so maybe she hadn't finished them.
I looked over at the man.
"Sir, don't look so angry, I didn't do this." He looked at me and waved his hand to indicate that he hadn't gotten Emily drunk, "Are you Miss Jones' brother?"
"No, I'm her boyfriend."
He looked like he was a little surprised, then suddenly smiled, "Sorry, I didn't mean anything else. It's nice to meet you."
"Thanks, I'll take her home first."
I don't know what Emily said to him, he looked at me a little strange. I hugged Emily and she moved around in my arms unfaithfully.
But no matter what the problem is now, I have to take her home first.
"Emily, don't sleep, I'll go get you an antidote."
I put Emily on the bed and turned to get the medical kit, but she took my hand. I was unsuspectingly pulled by her and bent over then kissed by Emily's initiative.
"Andre, don't go. Don't leave me."
She was drunk and her voice was muffled. I patted her on the shoulder to get her to let go of me, but she held me tighter.
"Andre, I'm going to tell you a secret." She continued, "I love you, so you can't love anyone else. You can only be mine."
A very domineering statement.
My eyes widened.
I was sure I had heard correctly, Emily said she loved me!
I was mad with happiness, before this I was very angry because Emily was drinking and talking with other men instead of answering my calls.
I let go of Emily and went down to kiss her tears, "I love you too, Emily. Emily, I've been in love with you since the first time I saw you. Since I met you, I have never looked for another woman. I want to marry you and have children."
"You're lying. You said the same thing the last time you were in the hospital. You always say you love me, but you're still seeing other women. I have proof, it's on my phone."
Emily rummaged through the clothes on her body, looking for her phone to show me her proof.
I probably knew what evidence she was talking about. I saw that news, too.
Thinking about that day, I wanted to explain to Emily, but when I looked up and saw her lying on the bed my body suddenly had a hot feeling. I saw that two buttons of Emily's shirt were unbuttoned because of the struggle, and her red underwear was exposed in the air, highlighting the skin on her chest more enticingly.
When I regained my consciousness, my hand was already on Emily's face, which was flushed from drunkenness.
I slowly bent down and kissed Emily's face with my lips, from her forehead to her lips.
"Emily... You're my treasure, baby."
I kneaded her soft breasts with my hands, undid Emily's shirt as well as her underwear, and took off all the clothes she had on and threw them on the floor. My right hand went to her waist and hips. Emily responded by stroking her hands over my back. Her moans made me even more unable to control the desire inside me.
"I love you, Emily..."
Emily's POV
I had a lot to drink yesterday, but I was very clear-headed. I remember everything that happened yesterday when I was drunk.
Andre came to the club looking for me and I was brought home by him. When I was put to bed, I kissed him and cried and confessed my love to him. I even told Andre he couldn't love another woman because he was mine.
It was so mortifying!
I didn't know how to face Andre, so when I woke up and found him still asleep, I got out of bed and tried to sneak out of there. I didn't dare to make a sound for fear of waking Andre, but he grabbed my arm anyway.
"Emily, why are you sneaking away? Don't you want to be my girlfriend?"
"Don't want to! You have so many women around you, you don't need me at all!"
I remembered Andre's confession to me yesterday, but I couldn't believe him. The news I saw yesterday was also true, he did go on dates with other women.
"I don't know that model. She went back to the hotel with me on purpose, to make the front page of the news."
Andre sighs and explains to me what happened that day.
The way he looked at me was sincere enough for me to believe he wasn't lying.
I faltered.
"I... want to go out with you, I want to be your girlfriend, Andre, I love you!"
"I love you too, Emily!"
Andre took me into an excited hug. I leaned against his chest and listened to his strong heartbeat.
We hugged for a long time, my brain was giddy and I felt like my whole being had been filled with love.
"Emily, move in with me."
As much as I would like to live with Andre and see him every day. But if I moved out, Susan would have to live alone in the apartment. I didn't feel comfortable with her safety. I couldn't leave her alone.
"Sorry, I... I can't promise you right now, Susan needs me."
Andre nodded, and I thought he gave up. But as I finished my breakfast and was leaving the place, Kate ran out and hugged my leg to keep me from leaving.
"Honey, will you let go of me? I'm going home."
"Emily, this is your home! Please stay!"
I immediately guessed that this was Andre's idea. He couldn't convince me, so he chose to let Kate do the talking.
"But my friends still need me."
I was a little shaken. Kate was so cute that I almost couldn't refuse her request.
"Emily, please! Stay and live with Kate, okay?" Kate pampered me with her sweet voice, and I really couldn't refuse her request.
"Okay, I promise you. But I need to go back and pack my things."
I mentally said sorry to Susan, hoping she wouldn't blame me.
"I have to work today, so I can't accompany you back. I'll have someone accompany you back to help you." Andre said out of nowhere after I agreed.
"Looks like you guys had a good night yesterday, misunderstanding resolved?"
Susan stood next to me and helped me pack my things. I had expected that she would make fun of me after knowing about it.
I laughed and didn't refute Susan's words. My heart was all filled with happiness, but I was still worried that Susan would be in danger alone.
"Yes. But... dear, is it okay for you to stay alone? Otherwise, I'd better stay."
"Don't worry, Emily. go live your happy life together, don't worry about me."
Susan helped me carry my things downstairs, where the people Andre had sent were waiting. Susan and I hugged and said goodbye.
From today, I'm going to live a new life with Andre.
