Chapter 27
Andre's POV
Emily doesn't drink at all. I was very aware of this even before I established a relationship with her. So after I confirmed my relationship with Emily, I rarely, if ever, let her touch any kind of alcohol-related drinks.
"Mr. Vincent. I'm sorry. When I arrived, Ms. Jones was already passed out from drunkenness."
"That's okay. Just leave her to me. You get in the car and I'll take you home first."
The other employees of the company had already left by bus. If I had let Lucy go any later, Emily might have been taken away with those male colleagues.
I was very upset inside, but it wasn't Lucy's fault and I couldn't take out my anger on her.
As for Emily, I was going to talk to her about how to not get drunk at the party when I got home and she was soberer.
"Emi? Baby? Wake up. Take the antidote first."
I carried Emily to the bedroom and put her on the bed, then went through the medicine cabinet in the room. I found the antidote and helped Emily sit up.
Emily was still conscious, but she couldn't understand a word I was saying. I put the antidote in Emily's mouth and gave her some warm water to drink. Sometime later the medication she had taken began to work and Emily's eyes opened. She sat up in bed and looked at me next to her, then surveyed the room in front of her.
"Andy? Am I home yet?"
"Yes. We're home already, I asked Lucy to bring you out of the party."
Emily's confused look was very cute, but I didn't have time to appreciate it. I felt I needed to tell her that getting drunk at a company party was a very dangerous thing to do.
"Emily. you need to learn to turn down co-workers who ask you to drink in the future, especially men. Remember that you can't drink at all! No one will help you if you are drunk and I am not there."
I thought a conscious Emily would understand my words, but in the end, I realized it was impossible!
Emily was so drunk that even the antidote to alcohol could not make her sober enough to understand the meaning of words. She just woke up, but her brain was still confused.
She giggled and looked at me wondering what she was thinking, and even reached out and grabbed the air a few times in the air.
I sighed, not knowing what to do. I was so angry that I didn't want to let Emily fall asleep so easily.
My eyes slowly focused on Emily's lips and then kissed her lips without any hesitation. My hands were not idle either. I took off Emily's clothes and stroked her skin. At first, she resisted, but as soon as my kisses touched her skin she began to enjoy the sex.
Perhaps it was the alcohol, but Emily moaned very loudly as I made love to her and let me f**k her hard with great enthusiasm. Her p***y was so wet that it kept sucking my c**k like a warm, tight mouth. I couldn't help but cum in her p***y with excitement.
Emily and I made love until the early morning.
She was so tired that she fell asleep, and after editing an email and sending it to every minister in the company, I went to sleep with her in my arms.
"I have two main reasons for informing everyone to come to the meeting today. First, I want all of you to discipline the employees in your departments, especially the male employees! I heard that at the party yesterday all the female employees, even those new female interns, were coaxed by the male employees to drink until they were drunk!"
When I arrived at the office, Lucy told me that Emily was not the only one who got drunk yesterday. Because almost none of the new female interns walked out of the hotel sober.
I have nothing against male employees finding their love in the company through normal means, but this kind of dirty trick of coaxing female employees to drink I will never allow to happen in my company!
"I don't want my company to be full of lewd men who only know how to seduce young women. I hope you will understand. Secondly. The interns who can be hired to work in the company are very good inability and have permission to receive an Offer. Therefore, I don't want anyone in the company to question an intern's ability or even moral character because of her work experience."
I heard what Fiona said when I got back to work yesterday. I couldn't believe that the great employee I had always recognized was such a person who would insult the morals of a hired employee just because she didn't meet the company's hiring standards. And the person she insulted was my girlfriend, Emily.
I don't understand why Fiona would break her promise to me. She promised to take good care of Emily, but she made it difficult for her again and again.
I wanted to rush into the project to protect Emily, but then I remembered that I had promised Emily that we would only be subordinates in the company, so I had to let Lucy play Emily's knight.
I saw Fiona lowering her head. She was a smart woman who must have understood what I meant.
"You guys revise the company's recruitment criteria. As long as the ability is good enough, even those who have just graduated from college can apply to the company."
I ended the meeting after arranging this, and Emily's phone call came at this time.
"Andy. Jane is here, she said she has something very important to tell you and needs you to come back from the company immediately."
Emily's POV
Andre's family wasn't opposed to me being his partner, but I still felt nervous when I faced his family. I would always worry that they would hate me because of my background.
Jane is Andre's mother and she is a beautiful and elegant perfect lady, so I was always very nervous when facing her alone.
"Would you like some fruit? I just cleaned these."
I had to initiate a conversation with her so that I wouldn't seem very rude.
"Jane. Is there something important that you need to come here to tell us in person?"
I had no idea what to talk to Jane about anymore when Andre finally arrived back from the office. I offered to go over and hug him, and then joined him at Jane's side.
"Let's have lunch first. Emily has already prepared the food."
"Okay, I'll have the maid bring the food to the dining room now."
I hurriedly got up and headed for the kitchen. Just a moment ago when Jane arrived at the villa I had ordered the maids to prepare two more portions of food, and now it was done.
I wasn't sure if Jane would like the food I had prepared, so I placed the food I had made in front of Andre and Kate.
"Andre. I got some very bad news this morning. Your grandfather died yesterday, and we need to get to another city this afternoon for his funeral."
After lunch, Jane finally revealed the reason for her visit to the villa.
My eyes widened in surprise as I looked at Andre.
I had often heard Andre talk about this grandfather of his, with whom he was very close.
Andre was silent for a long time before he answered Jane, "Yes, but I want Emily to come with us."
"Andre. Now is not the time to talk about terms."
"I'm not making a deal with you, Mom. Emily is the love of my life, my fiancée. She's entitled to be present at all our family affairs, whether it's a wedding or a funeral."
Andre had done a good job of taking me into account in whatever decision he made. Even if Jane wasn't happy with his decision, he would never give up, which made me very touched and happy.
I wanted to promise Andre to go back with him, but before I could say anything I saw Jane looking at me with disapproving eyes.
