Who is it?” the beast-like creature asks as she opens the door slowly.
“Good morning, sorry I have been sent by my lack to come to find the solution of the prophecy and I saw your door to be the first in this forbidden forest.
"I have nothing to tell you, go away," the beastlike creature said making to close the door but Lidien wasn't having it she held the door.
"I won't go anywhere, I feel like you could be of great help to me please" she beckoned.
"Child ain't you scared of me, I have blood oozing out of my eyes, and I stink like a rotten body yet you persist for me to help you? The person who sent you in here didn't warn you not to talk to strangers?" The beast said.
"I'll agree with the stench you bring out and also the way the blood oozes out of your eyes make me shiver, but if I want something so desperately I'll have to do all I can to get it don't you think?" Listen asked the beast in a sassy manner.
"Well, I would commend your stance and bravery towards someone you didn't know and how you take your time to make sure you have a smart mouth in an area you know no one, leave this place," The beast said and this time she succeeded in banging the door.
Confused, and not knowing if she should go further into the forest or rather if should stay where she was at tried to mind link her mate but there was seemingly a blockage and then a voice came, but
"Don't be a weakling just yet, you are stronger than this and I would advise you to keep the number of times you can ask your mate for help precious because you have just three times you can beckon on him and call for him at this trivial moment child would only be a waste" the voice imported.
"But that wasn't what the seer said!" Lidien said in a sorrowful voice as though she had given up already.
"The seer sees only what I allow him to see" the voice responded again.
"Does this mean you are the Moon goddess?" she asked.
But there was a lull.
"Hello, is anybody there? Come on you can't just leave me here please come back we need to talk, you need to guide me" Lidien pleaded but still no voice came back with an answer.
"What do I do now, a door had been slammed to my face and also I have nowhere else to turn to," she said in a soliloquy.
As she walked further into the forest to look for anything which looked like a stool so she could sit in.
She had been walking for what seemed to be hours and she did not know if it was morning or evening because everything here seemed strange to her.
"You wouldn't want your big butt eaten by a creature you nothing about would you?" the stool she was about to sit on spoke and she screamed hard as she jumped from the voice which had just emanated from her supposed seat.
"What are you and how is it that you can speak?" Listen asked in awe.
"Maybe you should not scream so loud in a place you know nothing about and thanks for waking me from my nap, it was taking a super long to make up my mind if I wanted to be awake or asleep" the tortoise-like creature got up stretching and it looked like he was not just a seat it was a humongous slimy creature as it was taller than Lidien.
"My name is stretchy and I am the forbidden forest guide, sorry you met me off duty, I had to rest these old bones of mine," Stretchy said extending his long slimy fingers towards her.
The look on her face said it all she wasn't interested in taking his hands in hers, what if he disappeared with her into another realm?
"Oh I get you scared of me but don't worry in due time you shall understand everything I am about to show you so brace up," stretchy said pulling his hands back to where he initially brought them from.
"Can't I rest now I am tired right now, please?" she pleaded.
"Oh, great girl, you can't rest here you would have to go far away from here, see the lady you spoke to a few minutes ago, I would advise you leave here because she loves the taste of Werewolf blood and you've got a ton of that in your blood," Stretchy said and this only got her scared than she was before.
She began thinking if it was okay that she was going to rest at the end of the day.
"You would be able to see a resting place before we continue because you have limited time," Stretchy said.
"Limited time for what exactly?" Listen asked being sceptical about what she was being told, so far she knew she had been here and nobody had been told of what she had been brought here to do, but maybe she was just overthinking it and sure enough, they would be able to know what they wanted to know at least it was the forbidden forest which was meant that everything that had to happen in the lives of the people who came in here the creatures knew.
"I need to rest please" she whined once again.
"Okay come on let us be able to walk for a hundred metres and you could be able to rest," Stretchy said once again then she was deep into the walk when Stretchy held her and said it was time to rest and at least when he touched her she didn't see any slimy substance on her skin.
"You don't stick " She noted.
"Yes, I don't you write fair to stop me from touching you," Stretchy said.
And then he went into some hut-like place and brought out a fruit bowl for her to eat and a juice.
"I won't poison you, and you have to eat for this period of your walking up and down and the moon goddess has assigned me to you while you are in this forest I would help you how well I can" Stretchy said.
"Wait so I have a protector out of here which is Wade and now you Stretchy for the forbidden forest?" she asked taking the bowl of fruits which had been given to her.
"Yes," he responded nonchalantly and then he transformed into a human being.
"Wait what the hell just happened now?" she asked as she jumped once again from the spot she was seated at.
"You know you shouldn't be skipping from one place to another while here okay because you would wake the demons here and you would be killed like the other Lunas who had not been in here before you, the only difference between you and them is that you have the fortification and also you have a mate who has made sure he has marked you and also is working hard to make sure that you have the protection you are getting now!" Stretchy said to her.
"And also not to forget that with the little one brewing inside of you, you would have a protector up until when you leave this forest," he said to her and this came as music to her ears because she was not yet aware of the fact that she was pregnant.
"Wait you mean I am pregnant but how? A human being takes two weeks to be pregnant but here I am I took just three days to get pregnant?" She asked holding her stomach she was not expecting this to be fast.
"Yes you have a lot to learn about being a Luna and the Winslet pack and how everything works but don't bother as you go through this you would be able to understand okay, ?" Stretchy made sure to explain and she began eating the fruits which stood before her.
"The fruits are good for the baby and it would make him or her grow perfectly well in your womb," he said to her and she smiled she had to mind linking her mate as soon as possible so that she would have to let him know they were expecting.
"Hello babe, I met a slimy creature here and he showed that I have a baby brewing inside of me we are pregnant baby!" She happily mind-linked him.
"Wait babe, I have been trying my best to get ahold of you through our mind kink but it seems to be blocked somehow Ash had become too crazy with the fact that he missed you but that aside, you've been in there for two days and don't forget to call on my help I am here waiting for you my big baby and the little one," Asher said in his mind link.
Asher was super elated and he couldn't wait to have his mate in his arms.
