"What was that? Asher asked as he and the rest alighted from the vehicle to see what had hit the car so hard.
" This seems to be...wait a minute, this seems to be a block and the tyres look torn" Mathias continued.
"It looks like a trap" Wade continued hence they became alert and each looked to the side already preparing for the unseen danger.
"Well, what do we do now?" Wade asked after about five minutes of just looking around but no one was coming forth with the fighting spree they had expected to go on.
"We can push the car off the road and well run home because I feel there is danger lurking around once again, but who could be doing this shit?" Asher proposed.
"Estaban is in our dungeon and he binds this time are firm meaning there is no way in hell that he would be able to get off those hinges so who the hell is doing all of this?" Wade asked and this was only a rhetorical question because they all were confused.
Asher went straight to mind-link Lidien just to find out what it was that was going on at the pack house.
"Hun is everything going on good at the pack house?" he asked as they all were running in their fur form through the forest.
"There has been an attack but no one seems to know who or what it is exactly it seems to be some sort of sorcerer or whatever because I have checked the dungeon Estaban still is here and he keeps laughing cynically" she explained.
"We've been attacked too but we are coming back to the pack, where are Neil and the rest of your parents where are they?" he asked.
"Lucky enough I was able to safeguard them please you guys hurry home" she begged as she went off the mind link causing Ash to growl because she was becoming faint and fainter and he couldn't connect with her again no matter how hard he tried.
"Save mate, save our mate" Ash kept ringing in his ears.
"I can't hear Lilly no more please Asher save out mate" Ash sounded scared and frantic it was rare to hear him sound hoarse and troubled so Asher doubled his speed whilst asking the rest to do the same.
"Wade and Mathias utilize mind linking your mates we have got to find out what is happening I can't seem to continue my mind link with Luna.
" Sure Alpha" Mathias responded.
Whenever he used that title it meant he understood the gravity of the business at hand.
"What seems to be happening?" Wade asked Julia as he finally got hold of her through the mind link all he could think of was his pup, his second pup could not be taken once again in this battle.
"Things are becoming more and more confusing here please where are you?" she sounded panicky and not able to breathe properly.
"Hang in there honey, hang in there, where is the luna?" he finally asked.
"She is trying to calm me down from having to go into deep labour," Julia said.
"What of Pamela?" he asked still.
"She is here to try to shoo the black smoke emanating from the Moon goddess knows where," Julia said and she too faded with what it was she was saying.
"There is some sort of witchcraft hovering over the Packhouse and none, not even the Luna can understand it as it seems to be choking the women and not giving them room to fight" Wade explained.
"I can't get hold of Pamela for much longer" Mathias explained as sweat broke down his fur.
They were scared and this was rare, and this was never heard of even when they were growing and their fathers and mothers were around and alive.
"What the hell is going on?" Asher asked as he entered the pack everywhere looked deserted and not just deserted but dark.
Slimy who had come had also from the forbidden forest had returned to help.
"Babe?" Asher called as he walked through the darkness figuring out where she was.
"I am here" she responded as she illuminated the room and just then the seer walked in.
"I had told you all the journey was not going to be an easy one" he reminded them.
"Can you please explain to me what it is that has made my Pack different from the great of the world out there? Why is this pack point blank with nothing to see except using the light illuminated by my mate?" Asher asked and Ash just growled in anger while waiting to be told what was happening.
"There is a force from the stones Estaban had taken, it has come back to take what belongs to it but since you have him held here he can pt be able release the power which is needed to be taken back so they feel cloudy stuff hovering around just needs his hands free.
" I can't risk that, he might do a lot of bad things when his hands are free just have a look at what happened the last time?" Lidien said technically screaming.
"Easy now mate, don't scream" Ash calmed Lilly down and Asher just held her.
"If I were you I would do what the seer has said else you want more hurt and pain around here" a shadowy figure spoke.
"I told you I would help you out Luna and I sure will, I would return to the forbidden forest and I shall bring back all that is required of you," slimy said as he hugged Lidien to leave.
Asher's eyes turned a shade of red which was frightening as he tried his best to not look like he was mad but the bastard Ash would not let him keep his cool.
"Do joy touch my mate" his voice was twice as thick as it normally used to be.
"Easy now Ash, he is just a friend and nobody is taking me away" she scolded.
"Be calm please, be calm" Mathias urged and he calmed down and his eye colours returned to normal.
"I would be waiting for you and be careful" Luna have Slimy her blessings as he ran towards the entrance she had once entered when she was demanded to go get the crystal stone.
"We all need to be firm to eradicate this darkness, " Wade said as he has his preggo mate and each turned and left.
"We've got to find a place for Neil and my parents to go they can't be here," Lidien said sd they passed the bedroom of their Pul who had not seen the pack for its beauty since he came but had just been having a whiff of one trouble to another.
"We want to stay and help you, child, you cannot keep sending us away because you want to protect us we are tired we do have powers too and I have the information I can give you," Edgar said Ashet and his mate stood there since they had not known the coupled where listening to their conversation.
"But ma.." she was stopped midsentence as she saw her mother raise a finger to her lip hushing her up.
"We would help you" Lilian reiterated and she slumped her shoulders.
"What of Neil?" she asked her mother.
" He would be fine, don't ever underestimate the powers of that little guy who has been with us since the day he was born," her mother said.
"You don't need to run that in mother" she smiled as she said so.
Asher had tugged her arm urging her to accept what it was and her parents spoke.
"Okay, we are all in this together," she said as she hugged her parents and they went into their chambers.
One could hardly tell if this was a morning afternoon or a night.
"I hope we can have this moment for life where we can just be happy with no battle to fight, the responsibility is weighing off on me," Lidien said as she lay her head on Asher's shoulder.
Just then Neil entered the room and his pearly orbs searched the room for where his parents sat.
Lidien called him and he came and sat on the lap of his other father they just sat there smiling and they were discussing.
"Do you like it here champ?" Asher asked and Neil nodded ferociously as he tried to explain how he felt about his home and how he loved the fact that he was spending time with his parents and nothing could change that for him.
"I love that you love it here honey, and there would be lots of fun in the days to come okay?" His mother asked and he nodded not too long after that he fell asleep on his father's lap while Lidien cradled his hit they looked at each other and she leaned in for a kiss which he gave to her before they carried the little man to his bed.
"Someday all of this would be over" Asher promised and Lidien hugged him as they walked back into their room.
