Last visit before the war

Last visit before the war
After having to go back and forth between the thoughts of having a fulfilled life after defeating Estaban and the Prophesy Lidien and Asher decided today was the day to go meet Niel their Pup who had been insisting he wanted to see them.
"What do we get for Niel today?" Asher asked as he entered the room to see his mate packing a little box.
"I just got some new clothes designed for him, you know it pains me that our pup has not been able to bond and play with those of his kind, he is just in an enclosed space, and I don't know but I feel he would find it hard coping when he finally has to come back here," Lidien said.
"I know right, he has to suffer for things he knows nothing of and it bothers me too I tell you" Asher consoled her as he hugged her.
"I say we go to Estaban and have his head for breakfast," Ash said enthusiastically.
"You are crazy is what you are but going to get his head? Are you certain that's how you want us to end Ash?" Asher asked his Wolf who stayed quiet for a while before he spoke again but this time he targeted Lidien.
"Luna, my love, I know you love me more than this dufus over here, let's go snap some necks and return home happy with our pup, don't you think so Lilly?" he asked both Lidien and her wolf.
"That isn't as easy as you think it would be Ash, you play a lot you know?" she said as she laughed at what he had suggested.
"I was saying that to sound funny, I was serious, I am tired of having to go back and forth with this fight which seems to not have an end" Ash responded to her.
"Oh my God, this is crazy, I don't even know what to do anymore, I get so pissed off most times when I think about the fact that my Pup can't be with me," she said to Asher again.
"Let's go see Niel and make sure we spend enough time with him because after this visit we aren't sure to meet him till this madness is over" Asher reasoned.
"Well, that's all we can hope for, while in life," she said to them.
"Okay, let's do this," she said and they carried the things and left the place to go see her parents and Niel ready to burst anyone's bubbles, they had also taken Julia's pup and mother to the same place where Niel and her parents where since there was a barrier to be able to protect them from any impending danger which was on the way.
"Mama, you came, I missed your ma" Niel jumped on her as he saw her enter the space through teleportation since it was one of her gifts she had held Asher and when Niel saw his father gaining his balance from when they had arrived Niel jumped on his father too.
"Papa, I missed both you and mama so much, grand pa said you were going to come to take me home with you," he said and this caused the luna bad Alpha to look towards Edgar.
"Grandpa told you that?" she asked as she signalled to have a word with her father at the side while Asher and Niel played.
"How could you tell him that, wasn't it too soon to start promising him a life out of here when the danger is pretty eminent?" Lidien scolded her father.
"The young man is too intelligent he asked and kept persisting as to why we are here and you and his father keep. coming and going" Edgar resonated.
"But still father, you should have told him something else remember the Prophesy would soon happen and having to tell him that with how agile and intelligent he is he would want to come with us and that's what we are avoiding," she said almost raising her voice.
The aura she emanated scared even her father as she spoke and huffed walking up and down just wanting whatever it was to be over she was fed up.
"Why is mama, scolding Grandpa?" Niel asked his Grandmother who knew what was going on but was too scared to intervene because of course she knew what Edgar had to do would make Lidien mad and she knew her daughter's anger was not one to be messed with.
"Nah, mama and grandpa are having a little. hit hat about something and your Ma isn't scolding grandpa" Lillian said.
"Okay, look mama and papa brought me so many goodies," he said excitedly.
"Yes and you get to share them with Ariel, your little friend" Asher said pointing towards Julia's daughter who was seated at a corner just looking.
The little girl had been asking where her mother was but she had not been told anything of importance since they kept telling her, Julia was busy with work somewhere in the pack.
She was a bright six year old and it was evident that she had witnessed her mother being rejected and how her mother took off since then she had not seen her mother even once but still, she had to try her best to be strong.
Neil was a year old already but spike like someone who was over thirty and Edgar couldn't help but blurt out that he had the wisdom of his arsenal grandfather who had passed on.
It was fun having to spend some time with the kids and also make everyone happy.
But the duo had to return home and prepare for the war which had been thrown their way even before they were born.
"This might be the last time you would see us till the war is over the reason why we brought you the provisions and all is so that you would not lack a single thing having the urge to leave the hideout," Asher said.
"We appreciate all your efforts towards making us happy and Comfortable and I wish that you both would be successful with the war," Lilian said with a few droplets of tears in her eyes.
"Here, it's a necklace from your mother, it has been used to protect me from all the fights we had before this and I want to say that you would succeed in this fight to save our pack," Edgar says as he handed a necklace to his daughter which was given to him on the day she had been stabbed and dying she gave the necklace with the instructions for it to be given to the next chosen one who would make sure that their land was safe for the people.
"Won't you need it, dad, we have all the amenities anyone can ever hope for and all I need now is your prayers?" Lidien asked as she hugged her father.
"But you need this more than we do!" She tried to persuade her daughter to take the necklace from her father which eventually she did.
"Mama I have a drawing for you and Papa," Niel said as he walked towards where his parents were standing.
"Thank you Champ, I and mama love you so much," Asher said as he carried him up and twirled for a while.
The difference between a human child and a werewolf Pup is that they both have different speeds of growth.
With a human child at one year of age, the baby might still be crawling and whatnot but with the Werewolf pup their speech is super perfect that one could pass him or her for an adult wolf in a dwarf's body.
"Okay, father and mother we would be going now," Lidien said but was stopped when Ariel came and tugged at her pants giving her a letter for her mother.
"Tell him I love and miss her," Ariel said.
The Luna went down on one knee and hugged the little girl promising to do just as she had been told before she finally took to her heels and she and Asher teleported back into their bedroom at the pack house.
"With this rate of teleportation you might as well want to knock before coming in don't you think?" The seer said as he was seated on the couch in their room.
"Well, the great seer need I remind you, this is my bedroom and you are desecrating it by entering without my knowledge," Asher said in his Alpha tone which meant he wasn't so pleased to see the Seer in his chambers.
"I beg your Larson my Alpha but I had to come in here for now I apologise for the inconvenience caused," The seer said with a bow.
"Speak for we have training in the evening and my Mate and I wish to rest before the evening comes," Asher said.
"Here is the drink for you and the Luna drink before the battle so you would not be easily penetrated to your heart, even though we've managed to stop all your hearts from beating, we can never be so sure, especially when you remember your Pup," the seer said and gave them before the left.
The seer already felt it.
Asher was too stiff because he was already feeling terrible as his Pup Niel gave him the paper he had drawn them as a happy family.
"What seems to be eating you up, love?" Lidien asked as she could feel his energy being dull.
"I can't believe I have to make my son and your parents in hiding because of some dumb idiot called Estaban," he said in outrage.
"I wish I could snap his neck as Ash had suggested," Asher said.
"Oh yes, finally you are second-guessing what I told you" Ash giggled but it can't time to play of course so Asher ignored him for the moment.
Ash whimpered and went dead silent realised his human form was not happy and he shouldn't continue patronising him when they both knew the problem at hand.
"We would fight them and we would defeat them all Estaban would oat for everything which he has done and that is a promise on its end as your Mate and Last Moon Goddess".
" I trust you, Love," Asher said and gave her a forehead kiss.
"Let's go out for the last training " and they both left with the sole intent of making everything right once and for all.
