"You look smashing" Asher complimented Lidien who had just come down the stairs with Julia and Pamela smiling at their hard work on her since she was not a make-up fan they had made her eyes pop and she looked nothing like the Luna they were used to seeing, the tired and restless Luna who wanted the best for the people.
"Oh Asher, you flatter me too much," she said blushing.
"Don't worry yourself if I was the person too I'll also have you complimented day in and day out?" Wade said and warned a growl from no other than Ash.
"She's my mate and not yours" Asher voiced out and the other men knew what that meant, he was marking his territory.
They left for the five-star restaurant arrangements and she was super happy about all of these as she saw that he had reserved a space for them.
"Oh my Hun, you did all these for us?" she asked as he pulled out the chair for her to sit.
"Thank you, babe".
" Anything for you my love," Asher said and she blushed even more like a teenage girl whose crush had finally begun to make advances on her.
"I'll like the steak and fried potato chips with some mayo and lemon glazed on it" she ordered and Asher followed suit.
"Hun, all that I asked are the cravings of a pregnant woman, would you like it?" she asked as he wanted the same thing she ordered.
"Oh yeah, I would change just some of it instead of mayo ill like ketchup and instead of lemon glaze just stick to the stick and fried potato chips, thank you," he said and they waited left to get their orders but not with giving them the most expensive wine for them.
"This is to the many sacrifices you've made for me and the pack, for having my pups altering your body shape and size to have them and for taking care of pack things sometimes without my help," Asher said appreciating everything she had done for him and everyone around it.
"You do things for me to babe and I am not the only one who deserves such praises you do too," she said.
"I love you so much Lidien and I want you to know forever you would be mine," he said and then the waiter came with their food after which they are appreciating the cuisine and then went on to have a little dance it was just such a magical space as they were having the time of their lives out of the worries of the park and the troubles of their pack.
"Slow dancing suits you baby," Asher said.
"Come on babe, stop being cocky, everyone can. slow dance" she said laughing and he just was quiet admiring her beautiful orbs.
It was getting late and her feet hurt in the heels she had worn so they finished and started going back home with Asher having to carry her to the car.
They left the Restaurant in a happy mood and but her mood got ruined when she wanted some burgers and fries with extra mayo and a big bottle of cold juice and the waiter at the junk food point had the audacity he had to tell her what to eat because she was already pregnant and would get fatter if she kept eating so much, well she didn't have to talk so much because Asher and Ash became possessive and punched the hell out of the guy who looked barely out of his teens.
"You had better watch who you talk to and not just that, I'll make sure you pay for getting my mate into a foul mood because of your flippancy and you sure won't have another job for a long time," Asher said in an angry mood which caused Lidien to flinch from how the heat of anger on his body emanated.
The waiter started crying and begging Asher stating he was sorry but it fell on deaf ears because he walked right into the eatery and upfront, the young man lost his job after Asher explained everything to the young man's manager.
That sure was going to teach him that next time he won't upset another man's pregnant wife.
"Let's go home babe please" Lidien calmed him down and told him to enter the car.
Just the utterance of telling her she was fat had made him pissed because he just had to make everyone know that he loved his wife and nobody was to tell her otherwise.
He loved her the way she was and it was okay with him whether she was fat or slim she looked beautiful either way.
"I am sorry for him making you mad baby" Asher apologised but Lidien only tried does calm him down and told him everything is fine.
He kissed her and took her order to her and she ate her cravings happily which earned a smile from Asher.
He wanted to take a few fries but she shoved his hands away telling him she wasn't willing to share at all, he pouted and she picked a few fries and placed them in his mouth and they both laughed at how childish they were behaving it was beautifully amazing.
She asked what Asher went inside the eatery to do and he told her he went into the set records straight for the kid who couldn't keep his mouth shut.
When they got home they were welcomed with silence since everyone was sleeping at that point.
She suddenly felt nauseous at the thought of someone thinking she was way too fat and threw up in her toilet sink.
Jeez, could his guts be that bad so much so that her tummy didn't approve of him too?
She held her tummy while Asher gave her some water to rinse her mouth from the awful taste of puke.
Just when he thought everything was cool and nice and they were about to go to bed she said she wanted instant noodles and wanted Asher to be the one to cook them.
Oh, the life of a man with a pregnant mate as tired as he was he dragged himself downstairs to the kitchen and whipped up some noodles just for him to come into the bedroom and find her sleeping soundly and he didn't want to disturb the sleep he went downstairs and kept in the microwave should in case she woke up and asked for her noodles or something else in the middle of the night.
He came back upstairs climbed into bed and held his mate and her tummy so tightly and kissed her forehead, she smiled in her sleep and shifted her more into his if that was even possible.
This was what love meant tomorrow was the hearing of the verdict for The seer and all they could wish for was for him to repeat everything he had told them while at the shrine area a few days back when he had been caught.
If he repeated everything just the way he had said it they would be able to give him a verdict lesser than what he was to take because he had been truthful about what he had done the only thing Lidien hated was kids telling when people knew she was going to know the truth eventually and this way she was going to have him acquitted of lying he was on their side and he was going to help her too with the new life if he wanted to start all over wherever he wanted to go plus Asher's parents were friends with him before they took over as Alpha and Luna so he felt a little time for his things had turned out and wished for the best for him the seer so he could turn a new leaf.
And as for Hennessey, there was no need to be bothered about her because she had cleared the air when she said she didn't want Ariel she just wanted to see her one last time before whatever had to happen to her while in the custody of the police.
As they laud in bed having a beautiful sleep there was a good thump on the floor which awoke her and Asher and fortunately Wade and Mathias and their mates too.
"What could that be?" Lidien asked.
"Let's go find out" Asher said as they walked downstairs.
And then there was a heart-wrenching scream outside as they all rushed out to see the gruesome ness of what had dropped to the ground.
