They ran into the forest where they had heard a scream only to find that there was a trail of female wolves, Pups littered everywhere like garbage.
Some people had their guts torn out of intestines, heads and torso's littered everywhere and since werewolves who were not of the higher ranks of the pack could easily fit within minutes.
The entire place stank of rotting meat and flesh as the corpses laid their eyes looking up and open but nobody moving.
"Who did this?" Lidien asked in utter dismay as she couldn't bear to see the corpse of their followers and pack members decaying within the minute and disappearing to the ground with no proper explanation.
"We wouldn't know unless the seer comes to tell us" Asher responded and Mathias concurred but Wade had something else to say.
"This was the work of the dark cloud which has been hovering around remember? He has done this as a warning to the Pack and he would come back too for more destruction this isn't something from the Moon chasers but it is part of the Prophecy as we see!" Wade said and everyone was left in awe as they just realised that Prophecy has started manifesting right under their nose.
"So what do we do now?" Lidien inquired from Wade she wanted to know everything at this moment they knew that they were going to experience all of this but how can this be beginning now?
"We would have to start the fight now" The seer who had appeared just answered the questions of everyone who stood there being bothered.
"So what are we going to start doing now, ?" Lidien and Asher asked in sync as they all were shaken up from what had happened, this was crazy. She had begun to shake.
"You are the Last Moon Goddess you shouldn't be scared you've got all the gifts there are to fight all of those who are standing in your way and you don't have to worry about your parents and Pup they're safe as the previous Moon Goddess promise you and she is taking care of them, you have seen so for yourself haven't you?" The seer said to her and Wade also tried encouraging her too.
"In the beginning, it was said that the Luna and chosen one with the birthmark would be the only ones to fight but as it is at the moment there is a little twist on the plot of this fight," the seer said looking far into space and not saying anything much as he did something as though he was going into a trance or something a grey puffy smoke like emanated from his mouth showing a sceptre and the crystal ball she had taken some months back from the forbidden forest.
"Now the Alpha Asher would have to join in this fight if they want everything to go as planned," the seer said to everyone who was at dung in front of him at this moment looking to the ground it was only the skeletal remains of those who had been brutally murdered.
"What?" Mathias asked in surprise making all the others join in ok what he was asking?
"Yes the Alpha has to join in and if he doesn't things might just turn dismal," the seer said causing everyone including Asher to look up into the space he was looking at but they could see nothing.
"Matt, have these skeletal bones taken to the spot where it is supposed to be for all the wolves who had been killed and their memorial would be done.
" Yes, Luna" Matt and Wade were about to leave to go do it when Luna Lidien stopped Wade.
"You have to tell me more about this Prophecy dear Wade because I would have to make sure everything would be in perfect shape we can't keep seeing our wolves die this way, and it seems you have some powers too," Luna Lidien said to Wade who was dumbfounded.
It looked like the Protector knew nothing of what he had been saying.
"I don't understand what you are saying, Luna, I only say what is being told to me by the Goddess then and as it is I don't think I can be able to remember what it was I had said earlier, I just say things and immediately I am done I forget them," Wade said to her causing everyone to be even more confused with what he was saying.
"Wait, wait I don't understand what to say, it means you don't remember what you've said now, damn it Wade what the hell do you mean you can't remember anything our lives depend on this my pup's life depends on this how do we get you do remember what you have been saying?" she frantically said to Wade and Asher knew she was having an anxiety attack.
"Calm down honey, calm down," he said to her while her down as she sat down eventually when Wade came to hold her there was some sort of flashing light which emanated from the touch she had with Wade and she jerked back causing Wade to land on his butt.
This was not a usual phenomenon of what had been happening.
"What just happened?" was the first question which left Alpha Asher's lips as he had never seen her touch Wade and then the jerking and screams.
"What is this?" Lidien asked.
"Come here, !" Lidien asked once again and Wade came to touch her this time after she touched him she could see and hear whatever it was that he was and had talked about and that was possibly the means they would use to make sure that they were getting the real of the information he had gotten.
"I see you finally found that when you touch me you can be able to get the information you need," Wade said smiling making them even more confused.
"This is confusing Wade what do you mean?" Asher asked the Protector of his Mate and Luna.
"I don't get it what's happening Wade?" she asked.
Walking by her he said, "don't you worry Luna you would get a hang of it" Wade said and then walked past it was the night and they needed rest.
