It was something that made the Pack quiet because things were getting out of hand and they were always fighting for one cause or another.
His external jobs were suffering.
For some months now he had not been to his office in town which was not like him and even though they had workers for the company but sometimes showing up was the best for the business growth.
Asher had made sure he was always available for his office at the human terrain because to fit in and mingle he had to learn how to blend.
This was crazy.
"What are you thinking of hun?" she asked after she had finished kneading his legs he felt a little relaxed.
"We've not been to the office in a long time this whole prophecy thing is draining me and I don't even know how to start" Asher complained.
"I know right? I am exhausted as well we can't even bond with our Pup and my parents we always have to be running and hiding from one thing or another" she concurred with her mate
Just then Mathias came to the Packhouse with his mate who seemed to be in a bad mood and since Lidien has become friends with her since Mathias and Asher were best friends she had to ask.
"Why is Merline in a bad mood?" she asked Mathias not asking her who was standing before her pouting.
"Why would you ask me Luna ask her she is right in front of you!" Mathias said while he smiled and Asher started laughing too.
" I passed out on the beach and he left me", she spoke out recalling that he was walking away from her when she had lost consciousness. Her eyes narrowed to the walls of a house as she saw new photos of the Alpha and Luna with their Pup on the day he was born. The only memory they had of their pup and regular visits.
"How could you Mathias?" Asher asked in a fame gasp just to make sure his Beta's mate was more agitated and he would have to beg her even more.
Merlin just sat there and was looking at her mate and shedding fake tears as she was not used to having her mate stay that long without apologising to her for something he had done.
"Man, women are hard to please someone would think I beat her up," Mathias said in a tired whisper.
"Apologise man, you don't have to do something to apologise, " Asher said remember when he thought of what his mate had done to him when she was pregnant and he shuddered.
After Mathias and Merline left, the couple left her again to their thoughts and memories.
When Lidien went to the bathroom to check ok something she let out a scream and Asher would have thought she was being beaten where she was.
"What is it?" he asked taking hold of anything he could lay his hands on.
Lidien fell she managed to get on her feet running to the open outlet that was in front of her. Calling for help, he was heading to the door as well and Lidien without looking at where she was going, bumped into him at the door fighting her way out with her eyes closed.
" What is the matter my dear, who is chasing you from our house", he muttered but she was so scared, could not open her eyes and all she was screaming was,
"There is a fat rat in here, a huge one and it was looking at me". Wade walked into the house to see what he was talking about, but Asher could not find any rats inside the house.
" Don't you think you are hallucinating hun?" he asked as he finally held her to himself to understand what was going on.
"I think I would have a rest now," she said as she was limping out of the bathroom. Asher rolled his eyes but what could he do?
This was what he signed up for when he was marking her.
"I am glad you acknowledged that," Ash said.
"I knew if you didn't comment you wouldn't be happy" Asher retorted.
Despite that, he was still aware that there were many rats in the house and it was embarrassing.
He had to call pest control for the house the next day.
"Come lemme take care of you baby" he carried her and took her to the bed but before he could massage the legs she was healed.
"Oh I keep forgetting you are the next moon goddess," he said and said to her.
She too was smiling.
"You know what I want right?" she asked biting the bottom of her lips.
"Oh, you bet I know and I would happily give it to you with no hesitation" he answers taking his clothes off as she looked at him seductively.
"Perverts" both inner wolves laughed as they watched their human forms get down to do the dirty.
It was a night filled with passion, one could call this a moment of lovemaking which had to make her pregnant but she used her mind to block her tubes from receiving any pups for the moment.
She would t like to go through the process of birthing in haste because she wanted to be ready for fighting.
She gave birth to her first within a of three or four months she could not go through such again.
"Lidien you are one and I want you to know that I am your mate till you the Last Moon Goddess decides to reject me!" Asher said as he slowly thrust into her.
"I'll never have to reject you Babe, I love you and that is all that matters we would go through all we want to go through so don't bother yourself I as the goddess will chose you over and over again" Lidien said ad he looked at her eyes and then went down for her lips sealing it with a deep kiss which had her shuddering under him.
