‘’Just make love to me, just make me feel alive. I beg of you Mathias" his mate solemnly pleaded, embracing him tightly.
Mathias swallowed hard as he stared at her with confusion. He even was scared to hold her.
‘’You don’t look too well to me. I can’t make love to you as this’’ Mathias breathed softly.
‘’I’m okay, just make me feel alive’’ she urged him and he had just been so busy that he had not even touched her or had time for his family.
This was just a drastic move and having to go through all of these was not what anyone had planned for his family.
The Prophecy was making them so bad.
‘’I think we first need to talk. Sex can’t solve your problem. I know I look tired but you need to pour out your heart to someone and I’m all ready to listen and help. We can come up with a solution, just open up your heart to me’’ Matthias pleaded.
His mate had been going through some shit especially after she had stood and watched those rogues kill her best friend and she saw her best friend melt in front of her.
She looked up at him.
"You shouldn't get involved in the matters of the pack I don't want you getting so hurt'’ she answered and broke away from him.
" But that would be selfish Babe, we have to work to make sure our pack is safe" Mathias explained.
‘’Are you hungry? can order for anything you wish to have’’ she softly added, stood up and grabbed her bag which she gently unpacked, fetching out a towel.
‘’I have to go freshen up. I won’t take too much time’’ she muttered with a soft smile, undressed before him and headed to the bathroom without another word.
Mathias breathed deeply as soon as she disappeared into the bathroom. His head filled with many thoughts.
His mate's behaviour was very weird and her decision not to open up about her what she was feeling in life after what she witnessed made everything look astonishingly weirder.
What could be the reason for her sudden need to want to not be associated with the things and happenings of the pack?
"Hun, what is wrong with you can you share with me?" Mathias asked.
He knew women had their moments and also he didn't want to think it was one of those times of the month.
But it couldn't be, because she was just requesting some smiley time not long ago and he had resolved he would be the one to make sure she had what she wanted she didn't have to ask anymore.
She soon appeared from the room with a sexy smile on her face. She looked so bright and composed as if she wasn’t the lady who just cried a moment ago like a frightened child. Mathias couldn’t stop staring at her great beauty as she reached for her ringing phone which she picked up and switched off.
‘’I’m sorry for what happened earlier, Babe. Sometimes I get carried away, sometimes I start regretting things that I’m not supposed to regret. The life I’m living now is what I chose for myself’’ She said with a soft smile, sat on the bed and brought out a bottle of cream which she gave to me.

At 3 am, Matthias woke up to see her sitting on the bed with her eyes on him.
He quickly sat up and stared at her curiously, quickly rehearsing the speech he had planned in his head for her.
‘’I have something to tell you Babe" she said softly, smiling faintly.
Before she could say a thing else, Mathias woke up with a jolt as a loud bang from his Kitchen sent him up on his feet.
Their heart throbbed furiously as he kept quiet for a while, wondering what the noise coming from his kitchen could be. They had captured Eataban so why was their noise as though an intruder was around?
He soon heard male voices which instantly sent panic into his heart as he realized that their house had been invaded.
Mind Linking the Alpha before he quickly dashed to his wardrobe, he reached for the ceiling and pulled out an English pistol he had bought so that it could be used to help him fight when the need arose.
He very much knew how to use it but he had never used it and his mate was just super surprised to see that he had a pistol at home.
He quickly loaded three bullets, pulled the safety and headed to the kitchen while he told his mate to go hide somewhere in the safe and he entered the kitchen area.
As he slowly opened the kitchen door, he instantly noticed that the iron protector at the first window was gone. But before he could even take a good look, two shots rang out from nowhere sending him down. He felt no pain, and he was not sure If the bullets got him.
"Who could these I trousers be and why was the Alpha's mind link not open what was going on," he asked himself rhetorically as he lay down there not raising his head even for a bit and then his mind link his mate to be down so that they don't get super hurt, even more, all he knew was finding myself on the floor and as he fell, his gun went off, sending out three shots.
After his gun went off, there was silence everywhere. It was as if the hoodlums suddenly disappeared as his gun went off or probably took cover waiting for the right moment to make the next move. He was so scared. It was my first t experience of having to deal with stuff like this alone he didn’t know what next to do.
‘’Could it be a hit on our lives or could it just be a robbery attempt?’’ he wondered as he managed to sit up with great fear, uncertain of what next to expect.
"Hun, we need to leave this place now," Mathias said as he went to his mat and they used the back door to rush to the pack house.
They had left the park house so they could have some privacy because they had somehow all been at the big pack house but sometimes the privacy was needed especially when it came to love making each had his way of making his mate scream and having to deal with such was no man's play, especially at night when each wanted their mates.
"Alpha!" Mathias said as he entered the pack house to find quiet no movement.
it was quiet and everyone was dead asleep.
"Seems they have eaten something terrible because they are all asleep on the table," His mate said.
"Let's check the captives," Mathias said as they left and went and when they got there everyone was gone and that was when the entire people the Alpha and the Luna and the Omega and Wade got up asking what had happened.
"The captives are gone," Mathias said.
"What? How did that happen?" Asher asked wiping his eyes.
