Aggravated

The case with Asher had been taken to the court house so it warranted they went to the courthouse to have him cleared.
It was just because he had to make sure he didn't show his identity as a wilf to the humans so he had to follow due protocol.
Asher and Lidien were both noble and objective people and even though they had been told times without number to threaten them and make them scared with their wolf supernatural powers but the couple refused to do so.
When they woke up that morning preparing to go to court. I was nervous because she didn't know how things would turn especially since she was sceptical of their witness's confession and if it would be helpful for the case.
They got to the court door they wanted an amicable private judgment for their case since they didn't want the case so widely spread on the tabloids it was going to be hectic should in case it got out.
"I love you," Asher said placing his head on her bosom area, he didn't know if he was consoling her or more like consoling himself.
Stroking his hair, she said, " Oh, Goddess, I love you too, Asher and you mean a lot to me and we are doing this for everyone's peace of mind, we can't let anything happen to us because as a family and a pack, all we have is each other. We just can't falter at this point" Lidien offered him words of encouragement.
"We can't and we won't," he said but his words sounded like he was trying to convince himself more than convincing her.
They both knew the police were easily persuaded when it came to money and more the judge everyone had a price, money ruled the world and they knew that it would be difficult especially not knowing when and where the culprit was was still to be found.
While in court the Lieutenant on the case brought in the witness, somehow there was this man who was there gave them a scowling look and then sat down.
They went back and forth about his charges his lawyer kept saying not guilty but in all honesty.
The plaintiff (Asher and A$L company limited) stated they left their office doors securely locked and went to go about their daily activities.
"Locked," the opposite lawyer asked wondering where the case was headed " so how did this woman get killed and the weapon found in the company on your desk?" The other lawyer asked
"Through a broken window, or a force at the door.
The witness began talking but avoided eye contact, he explained all of their plans and how they were executed.
They brought about the clothes that were found in the bathroom some male muddy clothes.
" Do you know these clothes Mr Hamilton," Asher was asked with some clothes in a plastic bag that was a little dark?
"I am afraid I can't see from this angle my vision isn't clear from this view," Asher said sarcastically.
"Oh sorry, he said and removed it from the bag, "Thought you would recognize it",
" No I don't" he answered
"We found it in your office bathroom." The lawyer reiterated
"Never seen that in my life before besides I don't put on that kind of clothes," Asher said
"Well we found it in your office bathroom, so are you saying it does not belong to you but maybe someone else?"
"Attorney, I just said I do not know that kind of Dress and I do not put much on"  Asher retorted upset.
"Okay, so that is settled," he said putting his evidence down.
He leaned towards the table and focused his gaze on the witness then he said,
"I've been in this business for the past thirty years, Mr Hamilton and this would be the first time I've encountered a case such as yours"
the lawyer retorted.
"So......?" Asher asked and this time it was him it was Ash who had forcefully been sarcastic.
"Oh, and he has a smart mouth too" the Lieutenant mumbled.
The judge adjourned the case to a later date so they could deliberate more on it.
Hennessey had come back to the country after she found that the case was going strong she had helped in framing Asher so she had to return so she could watch as it went.
And kind of surprised she was willing to help Asher now but she was in a tight position.
Even if she had to pay with her life then it would mean she did something good for herself before she died.
She was at the court house so she looked at them and somehow she smiled at Lidien as they took her to the vehicle and nodded her head.
Lidien was pretty shocked that Hennessey was back in town.
When they got home the Pups were playing in the courtyard with their parents.
Lidien Was So pleased to see how the parents were willing to take care of the pups irrespective of the fact that they were taking care of other things and they were hardly around because of the turmoils that kept popping up.
And the pups loved her regardless because of how friendly she was towards them.
She hugged each of them and kissed them on both cheeks then she pouted immediately announcing she was hungry, which prompted a laugh from the duo Asher who was walking closely behind her, got into the house and made snacks for herself then she explained everything that happened in court to Wade and Mathias since they had not followed to the court hearing.
Everyone was surprised at the fact that Hennessey was back even after they all knew she had gone for studies in London.
"But wasn't she in London?" Pamela asked with her face scrunched.
"Yes she was but I don't know why she is back or maybe she is involved in this matter " Asher answered.
He was trying to get his mind off his paranoia about finding the culprit but he also had a feeling the culprit was not as far away from them as they thought him to be, without making accusations about anyone but he felt the police were trying so hard to stall the chase down of the culprit because it seemed to not be able to get to the culprit yet they said they were giving it their utmost best.
The witness description of the warehouse was given to them as with every other information they needed to know but seems someone tipped him off and he ran off, and he was nowhere to be found, they had even gone as far as putting the wanted poster around town, traced his movements, bank statements, phone calls just to know what he was up to but he sure kept a lowkey profile and he was damn good they couldn't trace him or better still, someone else was helping him and that was something to reckon with.
"Hey, you...." Lidien broke his thoughts
"What are you thinking?" she asked
"Thinking about my wife" he replied giving her a forehead kiss.
"Oh, and what about your wife?" She asked curiosity filled in her eyes she was anticipating the answer.
"Of how lucky I am to have you and how naughty you are?" he pinched the tip of her nose.
She smiled and asked, " Is that all?" Because you were in really deep thought" she reasoned.
Then he explained to her how she was a blessing to his life and for her having accepted the burden of their lives as Alpha and Luna of a troubled pack for prophecy as her own was an example of a virtuous woman, and she always made air ahead those around her happy and excited at every point in time they had for peaceful relaxations.
Although it got frustrating at times there was no day she had wanted to back down from having to be in such a demanding position.
She was always the head lead of what they were going through. The entire focus was on her as the chosen one lost times he felt like taking away the burden from her shoulders but later finding out there was no better person than her to take care of the pack she had a motehrlt heart and she could handle things he didn't think he would be able to handle if he was given the position.
"Man I blessed you for vhosimg her as a mate" Ash said.
"Shut up Ash, you didn't chose her my mom did because she was the previous moon goddess stop being a show-off" Asher reprimanded but this only annoyed Ash as he went silent and his low scowl was enough to tell Asher his companion had become mad at him and he had to make sure to make him happy.
"Ash I am sorry, please come back" he pleaded but nobody came back.
"Let him be he would come around" Lidien said as she lay on his lap and her craddled her hair.
