Return!
Return!
She breathe hard and that was when she made a mental note to take Stretchy's advice of breathing in between monologues damn she almost lost some air.
"What else are we going to do now," Lidien asked as she was limping at this moment she had been hurt terribly but because she was being aided by Asher the wound didn't dig too deep.
"What are you doing Stretchy?" She asked as she watched him swiftly from the slimy person to a human person yet again and he carried her to the tomb where she had to see a few more things before she was allowed to take their crystal skull which was going to aid her in defeating the so-called prophecy.
"There you go, I would be out here waiting for you patiently," he said as he found a stool and sat on it.
"Okay wish me luck," Lidien said but had fear in her eyes.
"You have all the luck you can ever wish for my dear Luna," he said and slightly made a bow in courtesy to her title.
"Here goes nothing," Lidien said as she entered there and she saw an old father who was seated patiently looking deep into what looked like a pot.
"Finally you arrive my child, come take what you have been looking for," he said.
She made a little walk to where he was but she couldn't find herself going more close than she had to, it seemed too easy to get the crystal if it was the real crystal.
From what the set had explained to her when she got to this point she was to be careful because there would be at least three persons she would meet because everyone would try to lure her into their dreadful trap and she would never return if she didn't use her sixth sense and she was going to receive a certain power of teleportation.
And if she wasn't sure of a certain man she was allowed to ask him a secret question which was going to be answered just by the creature who could lead her to the crystal stone.
"If you have the crystal stone then you should be able to know the correct answer to the riddle of the moon's goddess right?" She asked the old man. Who turned and looked at her in a confused manner before he regained himself.
"At least the riddle won't be hard," he said to himself but loud enough for her to hear what he was saying.
"Go ahead" he challenged her.
"How can you make a witch itch?' she asked because that was the only question that the seer had made her know the answer to.
"Er, why would you ask about a witch, why don't you ask about anything else but a witch? You are a werewolf ain't you?" the old man asked in an integrated tone because he had become agitated from the question she just asked.
"If it was a werewolf riddle I should have inferred but you think you are clever to come here" he made for her but Lidien ran as fast as her feet could take her and suddenly she fell unto what seemed to be a pit.
Screaming and catching her stomach she wasn't ready to lose her life and that of her little pup just yet.
Suddenly she stopped and was hanging by some suspenders.
"What....what... where am I and how is it possible I can do this?" she asked herself as she realised she was the person who had stopped her fall with the way she placed her hands.
"Maybe, it is because you hold the key to your destiny child, come take the crystal" this time it was a woman who looked kike a Medusa painting joined with the Monalisa.
She was damn ugly and her tongue was greenish as she walked around Lidien sniffing her.
"Ahh, you are with child a perfect meal for me," she said with a sinister smile.
"What did you say?" Lidien asked holding her stomach yet again.
"Nothing, for now," the Medusa said.
"You shousl know the riddle right?" She asked.
"What stupid riddle? all I want is your pup" Medusa said and that was all she ran this time she was in a place of a man who looked like a healer.
"Tell me you know the riddle?" she asked.
"You haven't asked yet child," the healer said.
"I have met three and all didn't know anything, please tell me you know what can make a witch itch?" Lidien implored.
"When you take out the " w" in itch " he answered with a smile and just then the crystal door opened and the blink nature of what was in the room could blind the eyes of any person who looked at it.
"Her great Luna you are the first to come in here after a long generation of Lunas and to leave alive, whatever you place your hands on shall be made perfect," he said and handed her a bag with the crystal.
She took the crystal and before she could say any other thing it seemed there was a force pulling her out of the forest and even Stretchy just gave her a wave telling her they were going to meet at the other side.
And hence she found herself at the entrance of the forbidden forest with the bag clutched to her abdomen.
"The Luna is back" the entire pack roared as they saw her walking slowly with sleepy and tired eyes she looked rained yet energetic and as she walked they all knelt in respect and honour of her and the legacy she had started.
When Asher and Ash hear the resounding hymn of Luna's name he ran out and there he met his mate with the crystal the seer appeared at once taking the bag from her and ordering anyone who could hear to bring some drinking water for Lidien as she had passed out on the hands of her mate.
She was carried into the Packhouse and her parents were called to come and see their daughter.
After all, the rituals were carried out on her and the cuts and bruises checked and no danger was found even from the pup in her womb the seer announced to the Pack they were in wait for a pup who was going to come and change the legacy of the Pack after it's parents everyone was excited.
When Edgar and Lilian came they saw their lovely daughter laying on the bed with her eyes open and she was smiling hard as she could before she muttered.
"I returned home mother and father," she said and her mom burst into tears.
"You don't have to go through this but this is what comes with the great responsibilities of being a Luna the mother of all
Edgar was in shock and happy at the same time and just wanted to hug his daughter so tight.
For the first time in so long, she saw her father smile so hard that it reached his eyes and for a split second she felt guilty for trying to use their love and care when she was sent out and not listening to them explain against her.
Did that make her a bad person she thought? But she was brought out of her dilemma when she felt someone's arms around her and it was her dad, the first time she was feeling his fatherly love through an embrace all cause of the understanding she had come to get.
Hell if she had known this is what was going to allow her to be with those she loved ever since she would have gone into that forest over and over without reluctance.
She was in a state of euphoria and then she felt as though the pup kicked he was happy too.
The wolves didn't take long with pregnancy Six months was enough and the pups grew so fast other to normal kids with humans.
And she was in her fourth week because when they consummate and the goddess wants to bless it doesn't take more than two days for a she-wolf to know she was pregnant after mating with her mate.
She was all smiles and Asher was excited to see his mate and to feel his growing seed in her.
Now back to reality her Father was a happy wreck and she could have sworn his smile formed a dimple she never knew he had. Well, she had always found his dimple enticing and in what she did she always tried to make sure he smiled so she would have a taste of his dimpled smile and that was how they had formed their bond at all times.
" Now shall get ready for the feast you all prepared for me?" she asked with courtesy and for sure it was done. Everyone left her with Asher who couldn't take his eyes off her at the moment.
The feast was to begin soon for the peaceful return of their mate.
But was this going to last at this moment while Estaban got news of the oil growing in her womb?"
