Surprise
Today was the day Asher had decided to take Lidien to his new Company, he had not revealed the company location and activities to her because of all that was happening but now that everything was falling to place it was worth it to show his beloved wife his investments, he had returned the fifteen million she gave to him although it was difficult to get her to take it back he managed to convince her.
"Are you dressed yet?" Asher could hear Lidienbrattling around their bedroom she wanted to look good for the reveal he wanted to give her. She was proud of him and it made her happier to know that he wanted her to be a part of his life.
He told her the area would be a little cold because of the weather and she was elated her stylist was reliable when it came to her wardrobe.
She wore white silk slacks and a turquoise crocheted sweater, and she still wasn't sure if she looked good enough. But she called on her husband "Shugar, are you ready?". Then she heard footsteps.
" Oh, wow baby you look dashing" he complimented her but she replied saying "Oh Shugar, this old thing? Do you think I look good in this leeway?" he responded with a kiss and she affirmed that she was beautiful enough for him and she felt comfortable and that was enough for her.
"Mr Asher you don't look bad yourself, you look absolutely beautiful."
"He was wearing a new dark blue tee shirt she had bought him on one of her shopping sprees when she had the time.
He bow down his head giving her a gentlemanly bow as she reached for him.
" Well, in that case, why don't we stay in, so I show you how gentlemanly I can be?" he asked she knew what he meant so she playfully pushed him away and told them to go Already.
When they got to the venue of the building she was amazed at what she saw, it was so beautiful, and the interior design of his office was so good he had good taste when it came to making things look beautiful just like he had done to her being.
She greeted the staff and Asher told them she was his wife and her stay there was beautiful and she loved every bit of it.
They walked the half block to the brick house on the corner, and it was the first day of autumn and it was coming gently.
They arrived in front of the house they had called to inform the others they were coming a little late so they just had to take a stroll rather than drive since they wanted to explore the places around them.
And in the bid of doing this, they were manoeuvring the spot where the enemy could enter their territory.
Julia had prepared them a plate of spaghetti sauce and a beautiful Pattee.
There was a fire in the fireplace. Asher rushed to the plate like a twelve-year-old and picked up a slice of fish and a piece of toast that causing them all to roar into laughter at his childlike behaviour including the Pups.
That is when he realized he was behaving like a baby, his mate pinched his cheek telling him to grow up and the pups laughed even more aside from that Andrea Mathias Mate took some of the Pattee's and gave it to Lidien to taste meanwhile she scolded Asher for not being romantic and taking care of his Mate and Lidien pouted making Ash tease him to beg her.
"Sorry my beautiful mate, I apologise," Asher said.
"I forgive you, babe," Luna said too.
They had a great evening and the Pups all felt happy they were all soundly asleep they were placed on their beds and they slept soundly and peacefully Lidien for a moment thought of Niel and Julia's Pup the two kids seemed to be the target of the war and it killed her slowly.
They both went to the garden just in each other's arms enjoying the peace of the night brought.
While they were on their way to the house Asher noticed Lidien was in a very deep thinking mood, so he tried enquiring but she told him that it was okay that they discussed at a time since she didn't want to include the Pups in yet another mess she had brought on them because of her birthmark.
"I can sense what you are thinking you know?" Asher asked bringing her out of her thoughts.
Lidien went to her room to meet Asher already washed he was wiping his body she embraced him from the back and said "Shugar? I am proud of you, really and it makes me happy to know that you decided to make things right for yourself, it makes me happy that you are being a different man and not just that you threw away your life of peace and bliss yo share with me" Lidien said emotionally and almost teared up.
He embraced her and thanked her for accepting him and his flaws irrespective of all his shortcomings. He kissed her lip and that was enough to pass their emotions to each other.
Then she reminded him that in just a matter of time and everything would be over and they would get back their lives when all of these things were going to be over how were they going to make things work for their pup and future Pups to come?
But he said something that surprised her and kept her spellbound.
"When I told you I wanted to spend life with you I wasn't joking, I want you to grow old with me with Pup and even more Pups" and this earned laughter from both of them.
He spoke of a lot of things and told her he had another surprise for her but he was going to make things perfect before he showed her and she just nodded her head and then he told her he had run a bath for her and she asked for him to join her again which he reluctantly refused but later on accepted. How could he let go of that shaky ass?
It was a Sunday morning so they all went to brunch and by noon they when they came back to their house Asher stopped talking and looked past Lidien, time seemed to stop and she turned to look at what he was looking at and she saw Hennessey and for what seemed like a split second, she thought of slapping the hell out of that whore but she controlled herself.
She was wearing a very polite looking colour dress she was even wearing a pair of gloves because of the cold, her clothes looked cheap but she was tidy looking and kempt which was a change to avoid any confrontations with her, Asher told Lidien to go in with the Pizza box she was holding but she told him she wasn't going in with the but rather called a maid to come to get the things.
Asher wasn't sure if he should let her stay out with him or just go in so he handles things with Hennessey for he knows she was a crazy girl and he didn't want his wife getting into an altercation with her.
The maid took the things inside the house and Lidien walked up to Hennessey and extended a hand saying she was Mrs Lidien Asher Hamilton and her husband had told her a lot about Hennessey, Hennessey was taken aback, and in a for to fire back she told Hennessey and Asher had been having sex with her and for all, she was about to be rejected by Asher and he would be hers.
Lidien looked at her and laughed and told her nothing of that sort was going to happen and she went close to Asher who was too stunned to speak and pulled him to her and placed a long wet kiss to his lips, and she pulled away and told Hennessey her Mate and husband already told her all that had to happen and he and she were not rejecting her mate and he was not rejecting her anytime soon and if anything they should, and if anything she should go shoves her craziness up her ass.
Asher and Lidien walked indoors leaving Hennessey dumbfounded and wondering what had just happened.
After she reached their room her firm demeanour fell.
"What the hell just happened out there and what is she freaking doing here," Lidien asked.
Looking at Asher dead in the eyes.
"Damn dude, we are in trouble," Ash said retreating deep into his subconscious.
