Making up

Irrespective of the fact that he and his father have been having clashes today was the day that he wanted to have the conversation with his father Wade was a nervous wreck.
"What do I say to him?" he asked his mate.
"Tell him how you feel, tell him you love him, tell him you want to bond with him tell him he is going to be a grandfather to many grandbaby pups," Julia said to h and he just stood there like a baby who was still learning how to ride a bicycle.
He left and went to see his father who sat at the window watching the outer fields of the pack.
"Father?" he entered and greeted his father.
"Yes, Wade how are you doing?" Estaban greeted his son who bowed before him.
"How are you doing?" Wade asked his father.
"That is great, so when do I get to meet your mate, you haven't shown her to me since I came here," Estaban asked.
"Well, I can call her now, she would be happy to meet you" Wade happily said as he jerked from the position he was seated at.
"And you are a grandfather too" he added.
"Wow, that is lovely when do I meet them?" he asked Wade happily.
They had a long talk.
Turns out he was happy to be a grandfather even though he had not attended the wedding, he wanted to talk to his son but where would he start?
There was a moment of silence.
The whole apartment was tensed and there was an uncomfortable silence as both men stared at each other no one uttering a word, it was like the younger version of Estaban looking down on his older version for answers and why some drastic decisions were being taken by his older version and why Estaban had failed to make Wade know the value of family when he was younger.
Thanks to his beloved mate and mother he had become a great version of himself though he was still healing he was slowly getting there.
Wade had vowed never to talk to his father again or be associated with him but then again things just had to be mended at the end of it all and all the turbulence and troubles felt by the Pack because of his father he was happy that was all over.
But here he was probably being the one to pay for his father's life insurance and whatever it was he needed and soon enough he was going to make sure his mother showed up and maybe take care of him for the rest of his life, what could he do? Nothing?
"I'll be back father just give me a minute!" Wade said and rushed out leaving Estaban to his coffee and thoughts.
He knew he had witnessed a different life with these people but whatever it was he couldn't fathom so he relied on deja vu.
Just the feeling that he had something to do with these people but it had never happened
Wade left Juli and Ariana at home to go to his father's former home to get some things he valued so much so that he could use them whilst he was at the Pack apartment he had been given.
The apartment looked nothing like anyone had lived there in months, it was unkempt and smelled of alcohol and piss.
He took just his father's medical report which was laying on the table probably a month or two months old from when he found out he had been caught by his evil and then opening the book Wade realised his father had cancer, shocked and feeling bad he tried ravaging through the stench was unbearable and so he left with the results and off he went back to his house so they could take his father to the hospital.
He had to go for a check-up.
"Jules, my father has cancer and from the way, his house looked he had known for a long time, I can't believe this" Wade confided in Julia the moment he showed up at home.
"It would all be fine baby, " she consoled him and hugged him on her blossom a move their oldest pup didn't like because well it started crying and Julia laughed as she pulled away.
"Can you be a more jealous baby?" she said picking him up.
When Wade entered the apartment once again Estaban tried talking but Wade just hushed him saying they would talk later.
"Where are we going to?" he asked but Wade just said it was okay and he would be fine.
The Doctors attended to him saying they would get the lab results in a day or two.
When he looked up Wade realized his mother at the doorway of the corridor of the Hospital she looked lost and in deep thought, and he understood her, who wouldn't be in that state after three years of being away from her estranged ex-husband had shown up not with happy news but the fact that he was possibly dying.
Julia and Wade got home worried but he tried not to make his wife notice because if he did she would have wanted to know what she could do to help out and he did not want her to bother if he told her there was nothing wrong and she shouldn't bother she was going to flip and get mad, hormones were making her miserable and more like himself.
After all, he had to beg her non-stop, at times he even thought she was doing it intentionally.
After all, it became unbearable sometimes but he could not complain he wouldn't know what it meant to have another human growing from within.
She could understand what was happening because she had noticed his odd behaviour ever since they left the hospital to the house, it was not easy dealing with the situation.
He wanted to be there for his family and at the same time, he wanted it to be smooth for his wife he didn't want her stressing up likewise her stressing him up when she became a naughty hormonal woman.
He wanted to know the things that were going on at the hospital at the same time it bothered him but he could not tell his Juiia even if he wanted to tell her it would not be now that she was with child in her tummy, he admired her as she lay by his side and stroke the hair off her face.
"Your father would be fine and the baby is fine, Cancer can be treated and you can make sure he would be fine, have you told the Luna?" Julia asked.
She had awoken from shuffling probably looking for his keys.
"Where are you going to? She inquired causing Him to almost collapse he turned to see her sleepy face as she had awoken and was about to go into the bathroom to probably brush and wash her face.
" Are you looking for this?" she raises his car keys giving them to him.
How do women do that he thought to himself she always had to find his things in the simplest places meanwhile he killed himself looking for them almost everywhere.
He inquired If she wanted to join him at the hospital since she was up but she declined to tell him that she would just walk around to strengthen her legs since they were swollen from all the sleeping and laying around.
He kissed her on the cheek promising to massage her legs when he came back and he told her to be careful while home alone and that she should make sure to call him if she had any complications.
She nodded and that was fine.
He just hinted to her that he had received a message about his father's condition and needed to be at the hospital as soon as possible.
"That is fine no problem," Julia said into the phone as she responded to whoever it was she was talking to.
"Great".
" I didn't know you would forgive your father this fast Wade dear!" his mother said.
"Well mother, he changed and I also want that you should forgive him too he has changed and I am sure of that" Wade explained to his mother.
"I raised you super well Wade darling, I want you to make up with him, all my life, I have always wanted a complete family and this is the time we make use of it," Wade said.
"I can not give you a direct answer stating that we would get back together, my life was destroyed because of your father when we were younger and he was in his right senses and he had not been changed," she said.
Angela, Wade's mother didn't want to go back into such things, for now, she had lived a low life and now she just wanted to live celibate.
"Don't you want to meet my mate and grand pups?" he asked and his mother's eyes lit up.
