"We meet again chosen one," Estaban said as he used a vile to hypnotise the human investors at the venue.
"Estaban what the heck do you want?" Asher asked already fuming and paws showing out of his tuxedo.
"What on earth would you gain if you harm all of these humans?" Lidien asked.
"Well, what would I get?" he tapped his chin before he shook as though there was a light bulb at the top of his head.
"Satisfaction that you would not be able to protect over a hundred guests and probably fifty of them would be visiting their ancestors today," Estaban said with a wide grin on his face.
"And after that what would you gain?"
"I would expose you to your will people that you are not a great Luna, leader and chosen one to be the Last moon goddess and they shall choose me," he said.
Asher looked to Lidien and they both said in unison," Nope that ain't happening warriors attack".
The wolf warriors had to find a specific place for humans as Estaban had engaged them in a conversation to insult Asher had mind-linked Matthias who had rallied the warriors and Wade had mixed some sort of condition and with their wolf speed they rubbed it on the foreheads of the humans so when they awoke they wouldn't remember where they were and what happened at the venue.
It was going to be as though they closed the luncheon and all went home since they were many Warriors with their wolf speed all the participants were taken home and placed on their couches or sofas or maybe just outside their gates in their vehicles for those who had excessive security as businessmen and women.
Their entire memories only surrounded the investments luncheon and nothing else aside from that.
Turning to notice that his minions were on the floor and he couldn't find the humans.
"Why don't you see that you are such a bad leader?" Asher said with a smirk when Estaban realised he was alone.
"I told you I was going to take you down" he screamed and launched an attack towards Asher.
"Duck," Wade said and just then the oldest wolf tooth which Wade had brought for Mathias launched directly into Estaban's thigh and made him paralysed the moment he couldn't move or do anything turning and looking at Wade he had a flicker of compassion and almost faintly they heard him call Wade "Son".
Then immediately after that he said some incantations and disappeared he was outnumbered.
" Wade are you okay?" Lidien rushed to her protector's side.
Their bond was almost kike hers and her mate just she didn't have to mate and consummate anything with him to make him have a hold on her.
"Did he just call me Son?" Wade asked and then passed out.
"Quick somebody help" She screamed and Mathias and Asher carried Wade back home he was placed on a bed next to Julia who had begun to recover from her injury.
"What happened to him?" Julia asked jerking to check on him but the pain she felt made her lay back in the bed.
"He passed out after the luncheon was done we are trying to have him get some help from the seer, he would be fine," Lidien said.
As the Last Moon Goddess, she saw the connection both she had planned to tell them they were mates but with all these issues back and forth she had not yet had the opportunity for that.
"You lay down and he would be taken care of" Asher insisted before she finally lay down then a curtain was pulled to demarcate Julia from seeing what was going on besides they could not tell her about the "son" incident because if they did maybe she still was with Estaban, she had not been fully accepted she had betrayed them once because of promises from Estaban and they could not risk that now.
"What is going on, what is the meaning of all of these?" Asher asked the seer who had just finished checking up on Wade.
"He would be fine" was all the seer said.
"Is that all? He was called Son by the enemy, how is that possible?" Lidien asked.
"Only the shrine can answer that and the truth is, it sounds more complicated than you would ever think," The seer said.
"Complicated" all present asked in unison.
"Yea it is complicated and to have the answer we all have to be patient," the seer said and he also looked downcasted like something was wrong with him too.
"Are you okay?" Asher asked.
"Yes I am fine, everything would be okay in time and a promise from the previous moon goddess the war just keeps getting more complicated than it normally should be united we would be able to handle it all" the seer assured them all before he disappeared.
"I can feel something huge coming," Lidien said with fear in her voice.
"Og course you can feel it but there would be a day to read no bother," Wade said.
"Wade? You up" Everyone asked.
"Of course, I am up and nothing can break me I hope you all know that?" he said trying to chuckle but when he turned to look at Lidien who was emotional. already he had to ask the Alpha permission to hug her because he knew how possessing mates could be.
"Go ahead," Asher said but Ash wasn't having it.
"How can you let another male tough our mate, I am disappointed at you, gosh you disgust me Asher., you disgust me Alpha of Winslet Pack," he said and Lidien started laughing as she heard the thoughts he had.
"You should let them be, it is harmless, " Lidia, Lidien's wolf said and Ash just growls causing both to burst into a fit of laughter before they turned to Wade.
"Do you remember anything from earlier?" Mathias asked.
"Man, I don't want to relive that moment can we focus on something else please?" Wade said and everyone understood it was definitely a hard pill to swallow having to hear someone as dubious as Estaban call you Son.
