Training and thinking of the Pack!

"Let's rest today we will start work tomorrow," Matthias said to the warriors.
Today was a tiring day as everyone gently faced their pillows thinking of the impending danger.
What is going on with me?
"I must say Wade is acting weird. I wonder what's wrong. Did we do something he didn't like? He was moody and that's not his normal self" one of the warriors said as they looked at Wade who was not being focused as usual.
"He is going through many things forget about him and focus on the road we are to take in some few weeks," Matt said.
"Okay Beta, I would make sure to rally the others," the warrior said.
The training took the entire day as they were all going back and forth with what they were doing.
Each party had a partner who was to be fought till the person reached the floor.
There was a tube which was made to fortify them all from the tricks Estaban was going to be pouring into the pack, as per what the Pack eyes at Estaban's place had said.
They all were exhausted at the end of the day and also they were given a great amount of food by those who were in charge of cooking.
"We continue doing the training after this okay, at 6 pm we will start our training once again," Mathias said and then went to meet his mate who was standing close to the side waiting for him to come.
"You did well honey, keep teaching our pups how to be corrigible and firm in their path of life," she said to him.
"You flatter me too much," he said.
"But you should be happy I do make you feel great about yourself okay?
" Okay fine, I'll have to go and meet the Luna now for some other matters and I love you so much sounding bother yourself okay," he said.
"Yes that's fine," she said and watched him go while she took their pup home to prepare some food for him.

Wade's pov

I stood up and looked into her room from the window. She lay on the bed quietly but she was not sleeping.
Just then she stood up and started searching for something, I wonder what it was.
She looked up the window and saw me but it is too late to hide now.
Ahh, what am I doing?
She waved at me smiling ...
"Wade, are you okay?", She shouted. I didn't reply, What would I reply, that she had seen me peeping at her? And she even seemed to be in a brighter mood this morning too and even throughout the day, the Kuna had given her bed rest hence she had to be resting although I could tell it was exhausting for her.
"Do you want anything Wade? ", she asked again.
"No nothing"...I walked out of the window making my way to the drum where water was being placed for the warriors to drink.
And then I walked into my room to take off my shirt and just have a shower.
Just then she opened the door to my room and walked in.
I thought she was moody just now.
"Hey, what are you doing here Julia, you are supposed to be on the bed resting? ", I asked
"Wade! You looked worried" she said.
"Why won't I be worried when you are sick I know I have hurt you too! You didn't reply to my text. You are avoiding me like a plague and I keep thinking of the time when you were kidnapped by the man who thinks I am his son", then I stopped wait what am I saying? Why are these things bothering me
"No it's nothing ", I concluded.
"Oh I was just worried about you, I know I have been avoiding you and you know the obvious you hurt me Wade", she said.
Just then there was a pop on my laptop signalling a message.
Just then my mail arrived I opened it and what??
"Why was Asher sending me all these files? Did he make a mistake?" Then another came in.
"Keep these documents jealousy Wade" the message read and that was all.
And then another came with him stating he wanted me to meet a group of investors,
"Ah, I don't have to try convincing anybody but this might be what I have been waiting for to impress The Alpha and Luna and prove to him that I am capable of taking care of things while he and Mathias were busy, and this was my time to also showcase my skills at handling business matters too aside from the pack.
I had even forgotten Julia was by me.
I smiled finally.
"What Is it about?" Julia asked.
"Just soon we are going to get an investor for The Alpha and if we nail this he will finally be proud of me, I need to get this right, I'm sure Luna chose me for this. It's the first time he is trusting me with something important. I'm kinda glad ", I said and She smiled.
"That's great it is a way to show them your potential, and look, Wade, I want us to put this behind us for now till the fight is over being the Omega ill love to make sure everyone is doing well and play and we both can't be selfish thinking of ourselves when we ought to be thinking of the lack welfare," Julia said and I just looked at her, she was thinking of others and she had put herself second our relationship second, but what was the difference between her and me? Well I know she would have marked me on that night but being the coward I was I did what I selfishly thought was right.
She always felt the need to put the pack first, and I wondered why she had even thought of joining with that devil called Estaban.
"So we handle 'Us' when we are done fighting?" I asked.
"Yes"
"What if it isn't over as fast as you want?" I asked.
"It would be fine," Julia said and I just nodded.

"Luna, the training is over, and also Asher sent some messages for an investor too," I said to Luna who was seated on the bench on the porch.
"Yes he told me that everything would be handled by you is there any problem?" Listen asked.
"No Luna, there is no problem" I answered.
"Okay, that is fine don't bother yourself you would do fine," she said to me.
She smiled and gently massaged her feet.
I was sure the feet ached.
"Luna, You must be missing Alpha Asher so much?", I asked again.
"Yes I miss him, I just wish he would come home early," she said to me.
"Why don't you travel too, you would meet him and you can talk with him and have some relaxation too away from the pack house stress and all," I said to her.
"I can't leave the Pack unattended to so no," she said and I understood what she was saying, it would be irresponsible if she did what I was a king her to do, so I retracted my statements.
"It's okay Wade you can go back to the other pack activities before we have another training for the evening, we all need to be ready," She said and I genuflected and left.
