Understanding the Protector

"Something seems odd with Wade I tell you, babe," Luna said as she and Alpha Asher were on their way to the office in the town area.
"What do you mean babe?" he asked.
"Well, what I mean is he seems to keep going back and forth you know, like for example, he told me about the future and when asked ye couldn't remember and then suddenly he remembers but want me to get a hang of everything on my own" she whined.
"True he is intriguing with the way he does the things he does but then again he is the Protector sorry I had never told you this but protectors are always like that and they do more than enough to make sure those they protect get a hang of what their ding without explaining much most times," he said to her.
"So you mean the back and forth is normal?" she asked with a worried look too.
"Yes, I am saying you should understand and comply with whatever the seer, the protector and the rest of us are doing our best for all of these to come to pass," he says to her and she felt some mixed emotions.
"When do we go meet Neil I seem to miss him so much and my parents I do miss them, this entire charade has made my life a little too complicated than necessary but I know we would get a hang of it just as you have said and I believe you" she emotionally said to him and he couldn't hug her above did what was best and necessary he held her hand while they drove quietly in a comfortable silence just trying to understand each other and also to make sure everything was to go as planned in their lives.
Arriving at the office he opened the door for his woman and she stepped out happy all smiles and radiant from the moment they had been in the vehicle as they drove down to the office.
This was going to be a long day since almost all the records were not showing anything of substantial value.
"What have you been doing for the period I left for you to manage the company, Raul?" Asher yelled at his assistant who had been given the sole responsibility to do the needful.
"It is the records for the last month's sir," he said and when he said these words they only infuriated Lidien who was seated at the aide and not wanting to get involved because she knew he was lying and she wanted him to our with the truth but he was not willing to do the needful.
"Mr Raul seems my husband is a little too lenient with you and that's why you think it is okay to make him a fool when we can see that the financial records do not add up I wouldn't like to be you when I am done" She intercepted Raul who had been scheming a speech of lies in his mind.
Asher was ruthless and arrogant but it seemed his wife was more ruthless than he was and this made Raul shiver as the imaginary ice-cold water in had in mind dropped down his some.
She wasn't mincing her words because when he still tried to tell her what was not making sense she sent him to his knees.
Raul didn't know how he had gotten down to his knees but he was stuck and he was begging for his life.
As a human, it was difficult for him to comprehend what it was that had been happening to his legal as they were stuck to be ground and he couldn't possibly move around just by the state in which his boss's wife was.
"We would like to ask you just one more time Raul, what happened to the financial report? Why does it look forged and what does oil change mean?" Listen asked this time slowly and it was chilly hearing those words from her because her eyelids dilated and her voice had become a little too deep for the humans at the office to comprehend so Asher stepped in when he realised his Mate was soon going to transform, she had to learn to manage that side of hers which contained the anger.
"Babe calm down let me handle this!" he reasoned with her and the moment he touched he she calmed down and fell to the seat by her side just giving Raul the side eyes. He couldn't lie anymore he had been intimidated and he was scared to death.
"We..we...we have been embezzling some...some..some" he stuttered.
"If you don't spill every bean I'll come for your head and trust me no one is going to look for you," Asher said meanwhile in the back Lidien had begun to hypnotise him, and he couldn't hold back but speak up.
"We've been embezzling the funds it's in another private bank account, my team and I had plans of making sure we drained the company to bankruptcy before we resigned," Raul said and when he was done he held his mouth after the record was played to him immediately and he began to say he didn't know when he said what he had just spewed.
Anger brewed in Asher and he kind linked Mathews who was there in no time they took Raul and his supposed team as they screamed for help but nobody could move from where they were standing.
"This should serve as a warning to anyone who thinks double-crossing me is an option, now get back to work?" Asher said and everyone scurried off to do their jobs.
Everyone privately thought of where they had taken Raul and the great but none could say because of course their boss was ruthless and a question could earn them no jobs.
"Do the needful and there shouldn't be a trace of whatever remains of their carcass I've got enough to think about than those thieves?" Asher said and Mathias knew exactly what to do those accomplices were not on the face of the earth no more and their corpses will never be found by anyone.
