Estaban couldn't believe that he had left the moon chasers' lack to go hurt Luna's mother and unfortunately for him and instead of meeting them unaware Lidien was with them and they were playing family.
"I'll tell you that girl is a witch, the mark on her is working against us and we need to get her out of the way before she does more damage than expected" Estaban states to his friend as he takes a shot of whiskey.
"So she's always one step ahead of you if that's what you are saying?" his friend asked as he chugged his beer.
"Don't you ever say that to me, you are always going to be under me and you should be able to consider me greater than you?" Estaban said to his friend in rage.
"Easy man, you don't have to do that, if you want respect you earn it and do not you threaten people to be scared of you I am not Edgar or the former Alpha whom you tricked" his friend screamed back at him.
"Touché, I would say you've grown some wings but I wouldn't blame you for you say these things because I have given you the leverage of this" Estaban implored "Leave my side I have a guest who coming over and I don't want you to continually spoil my mood " he sent his friend out of his chamber and his friend left raising his hands in the air after he finished his beer.
"Okay man calm down if you get this frantic over minor things how would you be able to get the Luna out of your way and plans?" He said before he finally left the room.
Julia had to come around today and the intent was for her to get information of if whether Winslet Luna had any lead on who was at her parent's place the other night.
He couldn't trust to chance that his plans wouldn't prevail if Luna had found out what he was doing to get back what he supposedly claimed was his.
"As you go to the Moon Chasers Pack today you should be able to get us information about what this man is planning Julia, I am not begging you, I am telling you what to do, I want you to know you have an obligation from now on to make sure you make us proud because nobody would be injured in your family if you comply jut if you don't, you have a pup, right? And I am going to be a mother soon and I know what it means to live a child even before you get to see them, I would make sure she works the rest of her life for me under horrible circumstances because of your reckless choices, better choose the right" Lidien stated as she said all of these to Julia who was visibly referring the choices she had made for the last months.
"Yea great Luna I would make sure I get you some information to take down the Moon chasers they would have no way to make our Pack suffer," Julia said.
"I am glad you consider this pack your home, so you should be able to continually do what is right," Asher said as they sent Julia off.
"Although I said all of those things to her, I can't bring myself to hurt a child, I can't even blame a child for their parent's mistakes, all of what I said is just to frighten her but I had to do it so that whoever tries to do this treachery amongst our pack followers would know the consequences of their actions" She explained to Wade, Matt and lost importantly Asher who was looking at her after the verdict she gave to the young woman.
" You don't explain to us we all know why you did what you did, you are a strong woman" Asher replied and the other men concurred with what he'd said.
Julia was driven by the Pack driver and after she had been wired by the tubes given by the seer so that they could get the information she would not hide anything from them. She was dropped off at a far way area hence the pretence to show that she had come alone.
"Look who we have here," Estaban greets as he hugged and kissed her on the lips.
"Hey, I wouldn't stay too long you know the reason right?" she greeted and went straight to the point to tell him that she was not going to stay for a long time.
"So do you want me ravaging your body immediately because I sure have missed you and you seem to be avoiding me these days," Esteban said trying to sound desperate of her touch and wanting a manipulative scheme used to make her believe he was indeed in love with her.
"Okay fine if you don't want me to touch you I want you to take this substance once you are cooking the packed house food this evening pour it into the food it would make everyone around drowsy, make sure you don't taste if the food or if you do I have...(he turned and took another bottle) here is an antidote which would be used to if you have for a mistake put this substance into your mouth," he said to her.
"Okay I would do as you have said," she replied to what had just been said by Estaban.
"Now can I have some sugar if you don't mind?" he went on to kiss her and she knew if she kept complying the same way she had been doing she just might call on the wrath of two powerful people on her, regret they say, always comes after so much damage had been done.
