When Julia returned with the information which they had already had Lidien was still waiting for her to say something else but the woman didn't say anything much other than what had been said.
"So where is the substance he gave to you?" Asher asked the moment he entered the room.
"It's right here Alpha?" Julia responded.
"Give it here," Matt asked and she gave it to him.
Having five eyes on top of you just waiting for you to mess up or say something which wasn't cool so they could jump on you for the sword was something she had to be careful of and she was even becoming scared for her life and she was regretting butterfly because she had not only made herself get into trouble, her little pup and mother were in trouble because of her recklessness.
Why would she have thought this was a great idea especially when she was living with the Alpha and the Luna?
"Maybe I would just have to plead with them to forgive me and give me a more severe punishment than having to work both ways it is exhausting," Julia thought to herself.
Maybe that was what she was going to do.
She wanted to go to her room when Wade asked her a question she was dreading.
"So would you keep giving your body to that man, all in the name of getting more information?" he asked looking at her as the tears gathered at the end of her eyes she was going to cry but she was a big girl she could handle the questions.
"I want to stop it, but I don't know how to do that!" she said in a low whisper and those who stood there watching especially Lidien could see Wade's eyes he might have just found his mate and friend.
He had never looked at any woman the way he did look at her so why then did he have to focus on this woman, and why did he care if she was giving her body out?
"Let it go Wade she's got to rest" Matt chimed in to stop the awkward moment of silence the focus being on two wolves.
"Right", Wade responded as he let her go to her room when he turned the dark shade from his eyes had fallen back to where they came from and he looked normal once again.
" What is it, do I have something on my face?" he asked touching his face, and then when Lidien smiled and waved past him he understood what their looks meant.
"Common guys you can't possibly think of it as what I think you guys are thinking of " he jogged behind them calmly.
"If she is your Mate bro, there is no problem, having a mate is the best thing which has ever happened to any man especially an industrious one you would know that life is the best that can ever happen to you," Asher said with the kitten look on his face as he could only think of one person the Luna, his mate.
"Damn' Alpha, I just asked a question nothing more I was just being Inquisitive and nothing more y'all should give me a break," Wade said backing off.
" We shall see about that then don't you bother," Matt said as he gave Asher a knowing look because the same way he had met his mate was in barely the same circumstances just that they were both enemies for over a year before the moon goddess was kind enough to stop the feud and make him mark her under the full moon three years ago when Lidien was dragged out of the pack.
"Ash, you've been quiet did I do something wrong?" Asher asked his inner won't who had been so quiet this day that he even forgot he had an inner wolf.
"Nah, I am just enjoying the view from where I am, our Mate explained the use of silence the other day so I am using that to my advantage " Ash stated and went quiet once again.
"Touché, you take your time there be time for you to come out for sure I know that!" Asher said and focused as he climbed the stairs to their bedroom separating from the two men who had been discussing with him.
"Hey baby, what's up?" he asked Lidien as he sat by her side.
The pregnancy was taking a turn on her for sure, and she looked tired coupled with everything that the lack was going through.
"My feet hurt boo, and they seem to be swollen," she said to him pointing to her feet and pouting too.
"That's fine baby, I am here for you don't bother yourself" he took her feet in his hands and began to massage the feet cautiously as she relaxed and then all of a sudden she jumped.
"What happened?" Asher asked her looking around because one could never be so sure with her she was the bloody last Moon goddess and she might have had a vision or maybe a new gift because she had shifts he couldn't count anymore.
"Aye, babe I was thinking just maybe Wade has found a mate in Julia, did you see how he looked at her earlier, I have never seen him that way, or maybe it is because he has never been in the room when we have been interrogating her," She said and he calmed down for a bit before telling her he almost had to fly off where he was seated because she had jumped too abrupt.
"Let's observe, Mathias and I told him. the same thing so I guess we all saw it" Asher chimed in too trying to make sense of the entire situation.
" We still have a lot of time so they would have enough time to know each other I only pray Julia has changed for good else I wouldn't hesitate to rip her off," Lidien said and Asher could geek every word she meant when she said what she said.
If anything he knew his mate was an objective woman and that was the more reason why he loved her and wouldn't be okay without her even for a moment.
"Thanks, babe I feel better ok it legs now can you do my back? Your Pup has decided to sit on my bladder " she commented and laughed at the same time.
"Oh, he's is gonna be strong kike his daddy baby don't you bother yourself " Asher commented d then he heard Ash giggle a little from inside.
The two inner wolves were having a conversation and they seemed to have blocked their owners from getting what they were discussing.
"You both are nasty as hell" Lidien commented having to get a giggle from her she-wolf, Lily.
"Aye, stay with your clumsy mate, I and Lily have some things to set out" Ash answered.
"I know you have me so much but can you try not rubbing it in all the fucking time dude?" Asher said as he burst into laughter from what his Wolf just said.
Aside from what they were discussing Lidien brought up the charm which was given to Mathias to go give the seer for evaluation.
"We would be waiting for the feedback on the substances used to make the formulas she was given to come to poison the entire back house, it's funny how someone like goes that far to harm others" Asher as he finished rubbing her back.
"Yeah and it's annoying when they wanna hurt the one you love too, " He said as his mate turned to look at him with her dooey orifice.
She had the most beautiful eyes he could ever imagine and he love her till they became old.
"I know it's hard but baby we will get through all of these, from the beginning you've been doing the little things for my safety and protection and I would be lying if I said I could live this life without you and even though I don't sit it all the time you had my heart a long, long time ago and in case you didn't know I am crazy about you and we would forever stay this way" she professed.
To say Asher was dumbfounded was another tip of the coin she seemed to have taken the words right out of his mouth and he just sat there and the only thing emanating from his heart was to kiss her which he did judiciously and she reciprocated and when they were done there was a knock on the door.
"The seer is here" Wade's voice resonated with them and they had to go out to see what he has to say about what they had sent to him earlier that evening from where Julia had returned.
"I didn't wanna badge in you once again Alpha and Luna" he greeted and they all knew what he meant by that as Lidien became shy covering her face with her hands.
"Let's get to work".
