CHAPTER SIXTY-SIX.

(Arthur's POV)

The cool wind of the night was one of the best things that had happened to nature and one of the best things that had been called this night. It was not every night that one could have this exact kind of cool breeze.

This night was exceptional, probably because Zoey laid very close to me, I kissed her forehead once more as I smiled.

The room was a dim-sighted room, if there was anything we had switched off the lights to avoid unnecessary attention from the packs, and at least we needed not to be caught at all since we had intended to announce our wedding.

My hands moved softly on Zoeys body as I tried to get my hands down her, she let out a soft moan as she smiled and looked me in the eye.

“I thought you were asleep just now” I asked as I smiled at her 

I had initially thought that she was asleep, probably tired because of the rounds we had gone.

“No, I ain't tired Arthur, I just needed to rest for some more” she teased as she smiled silently.

“Bring it on, I'm always easy for that” I said as I laughed out loud.

“Oh no, I'm tired” she giggled as her fingers danced on my chest while she bit her lower lips.

“I would be introducing you to the pack tomorrow, I mean I need to announce our wedding, it's high time we seal this, so that we do not hide to have fun anymore” I said as I moved closer to Zoey.

“Don't you think we should wait a little more?” Zoey asked.

“We have tried Zoey, at least we kept this a secret for months, Meliora has been dead for months as well, the park would definitely encourage me to get a new Luna now” I responded 

“I also can't wait to be your Luna, but it's just that I do not know what the pack would say, they would probably think I killed Meliora” Zoey said.

“Shh shh” I said, placing one of my fingers on Zoey's lips to stop her from talking.

“What would anyone try to say?, You are mine, and no one would object to that, anyone who spreads any rumor would die by my hands” I assured Zoey as I swore with my life to protect her baby by all means.

"Thank you, Arthur, I don't know what I would have done without you,"she said.

“I love you Zoey, and I want you to get really prepared for tomorrow, it is the genesis of a new era, at least everyone would know that you are mine, then we would have some time to plan for our wedding” I said as I smiled 

“I will be my best tomorrow, I will make you proud Arthur” she said as she planted a passionate kiss on my lips.

“I should Leave now, it's dark, no one would see me” she suggested as she stood from the bed unclad to get her clothes on the chair.

“I will get lonely through the night Zoey, stay some more” I begged as I had already started missing her even before she had left the room.

“It's for a while Arthur, You should proceed quick with the marriage, once we are married, we would have the time to ourselves” she added

“That's the reason I had to make sure that we have a meeting with the pack tomorrow announcing our wedding” I answered 

Zoey nodded however, she strode close to the center table to grab her wristwatch, she then turned to me and smiled.

“I will see you tomorrow,” she said as she walked towards the door.

“Not even a kiss for this night” I asked as I adjusted myself on the bed, my eyes pleading for mercy to be kissed.

“No kiss this night” she responded as she saved her hands leaving me on the bed unclad.

Zoey just had a way of making me crave more and then leaving me to satisfy myself, though she has been intimate through the night, but I wanted more, at least the kiss would mean a lot.

I smiled as she left the room, it was just a matter of time and we would be together.

Zoey closed the door and left the room, leaving me on the bed. I covered myself with the duvet before switching on the table lights.

Just as I did, I closed my eyes once more, and I definitely found myself in the dream land.

The pack knew that there was going to be a meeting that morning, and so even before I woke up from sleep all the possible arrangements had been made, the cooks had started preparing the meal for the meeting.

One of my subjects came into the room to wake me up, I could honestly say I was tired, I slept late yesterday as a result of the intimate moment with Zoey, it was after she left that I dozed off immediately, I wanted to sleep more, but then I remember the meeting and how important it was for Zoey. 

I sat in the tub as I allowed the water to penetrate into the skin, it just worked on my body perfectly like the way Zoey used her fingers on me.

After a while I left the tub and headed back to the room, my robe had been placed carefully on my bed. I smiled as I looked at them again. One of my subjects came into the room to help me out while I wore my robe.

It was about thirty minutes after the meeting had started that I was done with everything, my subjects followed me behind as I headed down to the grand area where the meeting was to be held.

“Alpha Arthur has arrived” one of the wolves announced as he was shouting out loud.

Immediately the door of the Grand Hall was opened and everyone in the room stood up as they bowed their heads. I could see the smile on the edge of my lips and I looked around, it wasn't just easy to be an Alpha of this pack. I thought 

With a practiced movement I walked into the hall as I waved at everyone sitting before a table. There was a lot of cheering and clapping of hands until I got to my reserved chair.

I could see the smiles on their faces and this encouraged me to have the mindset that I shouldn't have the doubts of introducing Zoey as my Luna today.

I raised one of my hands up and then immediately there was silence in the room.

“Thank you all” I said as I gestured my hands for all of them to have their seat 

“I Alpha Arthur stand before you” I announced myself.
